The reason this is hamburger 🍔 is because when it’s folded it is more of a square shape instead of being long and skinny like a hotdog 🌭. My vintage Razr was awesome-I owned it way after “growing up”... this is a device that could eventually tempt me, and perhaps other oldies, away from the mainstream-if only Motorola can keep improving it over the next generation or two... thank you for the usual great review :-)

Perfect test. Exactly what I was looking for. Yes, I agree that ending a call by closing the phone can not be overestimated. Thats why I would like to buy this phone. I dont like the samsung style. Samsung may be more robust, but looks like a powder box. The razrs draw back is the gap. At least if you spend one day at the beach. For me it would be fine to have to separate screens very close together. Better than the flexible display and the dust gap letting in all kind of dust. However I am highly impressed how far it had to be pushed to give up funcitonality.
As someone who owned the original moto razr in 2007 its so cool to see the phone reinvented in today's world. That is so cool!

Future TechDove here, I've been using folding phones since 2020, I have the first gen Z flip, the Z fold 3 and the 2020 RAZR 5G and they're all in perfect condition. I love folding phones, even if they do have more compromises than a regular phone does.

I'm a technician who prefers Moto. I really want a folding phone. My imagination is that it will fit better in my pocket and accidental operation will be less likely. I wouldn't mind seeing the possibilities of the notification screen being activated accidentally, and the worst possible results of such like pocket return messages or deleting messages accidentally.
I'll be looking for that tear down video now. Keep up the good writing, it's as entertaining as the damage testing.
