I am glad I discovered you two today. You are truly a charming couple on an awesome bike for two. I subscribed already early into your video which I enjoyed greatly right to the end and looking forward to your next post. Ride safe. Greetings from Alberta, Canada.
HI, nice to have some more people watching form Canada! (a country we need to explore on the bike too) Really glad to hear you enjoy the videos and we hope you enjoy the next part of the tour as we see Scotland, in tonight's episode there is a little reference to Canadians that you might like 😉 Here's the full playlist of the trip so far: th-cam.com/play/PLl_mRzVHVQ0zUtFe7yIi6rO-2-k465D31.html&si=9xUWMSY35cru-qUb
It was really cool to ride on in a big group like that! The sound of the engines was awesome. Yeah we heard that Santander ferry gets busy too. Thanks for watching 😊
Northern Ireland to Scotland is a lovely little 2 hour trip and if demand increases,we will hopefully get more daily trips all year!(very popular for Celric/Rangers fans hopping over from Ireland/Northern Ireland)
@@SeanandEmily Great video folks! Next time you go between Largs and Glasgow should try the popular route along the coast (Wemyss Bay,Greenock,Port Glasgow).Spectacular!
Ireland was amazing, cannot wait to see what Scotland has to offer - Thank you ever so much for all the amazing content. I hope they have enough space in Scotland for all the motorcycle on that ferry xD.
Yeah we left Ireland extremely happy, we had seen so many wonderful landscapes and had a lot of great experiences. We have also wanted to tour Scotland so was really excited for this part of the journey too. You're welcome, always good to hear that you enjoy the content 😊👍
Hi and welcome to the channel. Great to hear you have been enjoying the series so far and thanks for dropping a comment -most appreciated. Fantastic video guys looking forward to watching you explore Scotland. Emz you should ask for discount as you do all these ferry videos showing us what's available 😅
Scotland has been one of our favourite memories! -and you will see why 😊. Haha yeah we should! ....actually we did once get upgraded on Corsica ferries and got invited for dinner! 😂
Your departure from Belfast must have coincided with the end of the North West 200 road race which would explain all the bikes. Enjoy your Scottish trip.
Yeah it did, it also explained why we almost couldn't find a hotel 😊 We had never seen so many bikers on one ferry, impressive really. Thanks very much 😎👍
We were very impressed with how smoothly they got all those bikes on and off without any mishaps. Also impressed again with Stena lines for having extra straps 😎👍🏻 Scotland part of the series is going to be good! 😊
Thanks very much! Great to hear you enjoyed it! 😊👍 Here's the entire playlist so far from this series: th-cam.com/play/PLl_mRzVHVQ0zUtFe7yIi6rO-2-k465D31.html&si=g2PUxge8nQEgOxsl
Nice prelude to your Scottish, part of your tour, It must have been NW200 racing weekend, with all the bikers travelling back to mainland UK. I usually use the P&O ferry from Larne as it is 6 miles from me, and a slightly shorter crossing, but not nearly as good of ship. The Stena ship looks great, and are much younger as far as I know. Looking forward to Scotland guys :)
Hi Tim, yeah that's right it was the NW200, we were too late to see it (not that we had time lol) but just in time to struggle to find somewhere to stay 😂. Larne looks handy too, not sure if we new about that one. Scotland is going to be good! 😎👍
@@SeanandEmily Looking forward to Scotland, Beautiful roads and scenery, road surface can be hard on tyres, good call to get a new set for the rest of your trip. :)
Must have been the NW200?…You obviously haven’t done the Plymouth/Santander ferry…absolutely rammed with bikes…and every one of them thinking please don’t let me drop it😅great trip around Ireland you had there, looking forward to the next section.
Lots of bikes n board after the NW200, always a bit of a panic getting the bike on and strapped down, looking forward to your trip through the highlands. You can now buy duty free stuff going from Ireland to Scotland since Brexit.
Glad that we booked this one in advance as it was fully loaded. Was impressed with Stena how they got everyone on and off so smoothly with plenty of straps for everyone. Ah interesting, didn't think about that. 😎👍
Another great video. Emily do you take anything for your sea sickness ? When we went by boat we took quells . Sean glad you got sorted with tyres, rims are so slippery lol .
Thanks! I always have sea sickness tablet with me but forget to take them beforehand lol - also trying to build up a natural resistance -so far not working 😂. Yeah tires will be fitted in Glasgow! - a big relief
I do hope your going via the West Coast in order to reach JOGs and not straight up the A9? The West Coast of Scotland is just stunning with incredible scenery and roads 😊
Take it you've never been to the Isle of Man on a ferry, they tie your bike down with a 3 foot length of rope.🤣🤣 Hundreds of bikes on a ferry during TT fortnight.
You're actually not the first person to tell us that! - it must be really bad ...had no idea really thought that was more of a South problem 😲 Thanks for the warning!
First time I have watched any of your videos very well presented and interesting. However I think your Headline “ mayhem” was very misleading. It seemed to me that the ferry boarding process was very well organised and everyone on their bikes were very disciplined , clearly there was a lot of bikes but could not see any mayhem ? The reason I actually watched is I’m planning a trip by ferry to Ireland .
So you are looking for information on taking a ferry between Ireland and Scotland. You watched a video entitled ‘Ferry MAYHEM! - Northern Ireland to Scotland Ferry!’ And got all the information you possibly need and more without any cost to yourself yet at the end of watching this you feel mislead? 🤔
@@SeanandEmily the point I was making was the title was very misleading , and frankly not necessary given there was no “ Mayhem “ as I said in my comments the whole process seemed very organised and the video itself informative , so why say it was mayhem ??
The are just port police, since Brexit the border to Eire/Ireland is at Larne and Belfast ports, even when travelling to Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK.
Well done for visiting Southern Ireland and Northern Ireland. Scotland is a lovely place to safe journey ahead.
Thanks Colin! We have really enjoyed touring Ireland! So many spectacular sights and great experiences. We are looking forwards to sharing Scotland 😎
Nice video guys, I'm slowly getting up to date with your trip! Looking forward to seeing Scotland. Cheers, Steve
Cheers mate! Can’t wait to hear what you think of the Scotland stage of the trip 😎👍🏻
Can't wait until the beautiful Scotland. Love your ferry crossing story telling.
Thanks! Yeah we are looking forwards to sharing Scotland as well! It's going to be great! 😎👍
West side of Scotland is paradise for bikers!

Lets hope it blows by 😉
Great video from the couple who never stop smiling 😊 🏍️
Thanks! Not sure how people can be grumpy when touring 😊 -these trips are our highlight of the year!
Whooohoooo I love being on a ferry full of bikers! We had this once when we sailed to santander.
Lovely video. Thank you 🏴🙏🏻💙
It was really cool to ride on in a big group like that! The sound of the engines was awesome. Yeah we heard that Santander ferry gets busy too. Thanks for watching 😊
I was at the NW200 this year and our ferry home on the Sunday was mega busy too! Hope you enjoyed your trip around Scotland. 👍
Maybe we were on the same ferry! This was the Sunday crossing too 👍
Hope you had a great time at the NW200!

I live in Northern Ireland and I always sail from Larne to cairnryan. Much prefer the smaller boats.
Good to have a few options 😎👍
That was a relaxing crossing. And now up to Glasgow. Good luck with the tirechange. 😎👍
Yeah another great crossing! -One day we will get caught in a choppy crossing 😝, thanks! 😎

Hi Jeff, yeah it really was!! So awesome to ride on with hundreds of other bikes! 👍
If you plan a stop in Edinburgh, double, triple, quadruple lock your bike, it’s rife with high-end bike thefts.

Was waiting for the Mayhem?
There was about 200 bikes trying to get on to the ferry, how much mayhem does one need? 😉
@@SeanandEmily that's just a busy ferry. Try the Heysham to IOM ferry @ TT time for Mayhem.
Why did they call for police presence? Do they not trust bikers thinking they are trouble makers?
No idea, maybe it was a reminder not to razz off 😂
