You seem to have overlooked the fact that the Mule is not only twice as tanky, but also way faster than the Bob (including double the climb rate). Plus, it has countermeasures. It might be pricey, but is way better
Pyrerealm.. it has countermeasures, better armor, its faster, and has better handling.. oh AND the hook is longer. Its a straight upgrade but for a higher price.
I’ve seen one or two versus vids on the Iron Mule/Cargobob and the Iron Mule is a bit faster than the Cargobob without carrying anything, but is almost twice as fast when carrying a vehicle (one I saw they used the Insurgent), so I’m definitely getting it.
So its faster, more armored, more customizable, and has countermeasures, and doesnt have a barrier for vehicles like the cargobob for ~1 million more than the regular cargobob. I feel like those features alone make this more worth it than the cargobob. We'll see when it launches.
Homing, rpg? the removal of rotors is basically when the heli explodes or when you lose a rotor due to a tree, the part where the helicopter spins out is when you shoot the rotor. Singleplayer and multiplayer are completely different things
If the cargobob got a buff, the iron mule is generally useless then. What they need to do is have a long hook option, that could have been a selling point for the iron mule.
There's a few things you got this helicopter. I managed to get it early in GTA Online which is how I know: 1: the rope to the hook will be much longer. You have the short hook while the actual one has a long hook. 2: The cargobob was not buffed to lift the insurgent. The insurgent was buffed to be able to be lifted by the cargobob. Vehicles like the vigilante are still too heavy for the cargobob to lift.
It’s still a good sale, for $500k more it’s able to have countermeasures, change the livery, and much faster. Cargobob isn’t outclassed but you get more for paying more imo
I'm just happy that it's a new helo and looks much more similar to the real life counterpart instead of the ugly cargobob that looks cursed and terrible and if this helo is from gta 6 or meant for gta 6 then I'm also very happy to see it cuz at least the military vehicles will look much more closer to their real life counterpart instead of mix of many vehicles

I think that despite being functionally similar to the cargobob, it takes longer to blow up, can carry more players, can put vehicles in the back, and looks better imo. I believe that the extra customization and countermeasures are worth the extra cash that I'm willing to throw at it. And if its anything like the other helicopters you are able to customize, then there will be performance upgrades as well that might make it fly better.

Well it looks like they're going to go forward with the name I really was hoping they named it the Leviathan because this is basically that helicopter from San Andreas
I wonder if the the lifting hook is a separate entity from the helo in the code so they can only have one basic lifting ability in the game without a significant patch?
This thing would have been great for my old military crew if it had a stealth module or at least side guns or something and imagine a rappel rope at the back OOOOOOOOO

I'm not an expert in modding whatsoever but mabye the cargobob buff is just an issue with the mod and how it spawns the DH-7 and not a change made by rockstar?
Interesting. I tried lifting a boxtruck literally three hours ago in GTA Online using a cargobob and I just crashed down into the ground as it couldn't lift it. Cargobob not buffed?
Looks like a mass-grave waiting to happen... but its certainly an upgrade with being able to tank 6 shots and carry lots of people/vehicle. Seems overall a win, but I wouldn't fill it with players in a public lobby lol.
I'd rather comment on the fact that you used a track from Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere for the music for this video. "Frozen Soul" is the title. Damn, I miss that game.
I saw someone compare the two and it seemed even with the buff the Cargobob got, the Iron Mule had better weight carrying and could take much more damage that then Cargobob as well. If you have the money, it might not be that bad of a purchase.
I don't know if this is just me, but did rock star make it where you can't open the interactive menu when you're in a helicopter or a aircraft. Cause it hasn't been lending me in the past few days.
Idk but just yesterday I used the JetSam cargo bob for a vehicle warehouse mission and omg I would have made it to my warehouse 5x faster just driving there 😅 the o it good thing about it is the car won’t have as much repair damage once you deliver it.

Well it looks like they're going to go forward with the name I really was hoping they named it the Leviathan because this is basically that helicopter from San Andreas
Jolly Green Giant my beloved
I wonder if the the lifting hook is a separate entity from the helo in the code so they can only have one basic lifting ability in the game without a significant patch?
This thing would have been great for my old military crew if it had a stealth module or at least side guns or something and imagine a rappel rope at the back OOOOOOOOO
I think cheek miniguns the option for a rear twin .50cal could have made for a nice difference,. Also, I still want to see the Cannonbob based on the attack variant of the Chinook..
So we finally got a replacement for the Titan, Bombuschka and Cargobob? Because they removed the feature to go into the cargobay years ago sadly.
I'm not an expert in modding whatsoever but mabye the cargobob buff is just an issue with the mod and how it spawns the DH-7 and not a change made by rockstar?
I say don't get your hopes up for carrying bikes inside of it.
Rockstar will definitely patch this saying that it causes de sync or something.
If it can lift insurgents now it might be able to lift sell mission vehicles like the post ops van or the mule custom
The hook is disabled for those posy op missions?
@ac04project oh is it I've only tried it on night club sell missions. That sucks
Damn, I miss that game.
the removable rotor/tail is just a side product of them being able to be broken off. same tech, most if not all helis have the same.
I saw someone compare the two and it seemed even with the buff the Cargobob got, the Iron Mule had better weight carrying and could take much more damage that then Cargobob as well. If you have the money, it might not be that bad of a purchase.
it's the same helicopter that they used in Hulk Incredible
Quick Question: Why should Rockstar at the Skylift to GTA O?
Has it any use?
It can carry the apc? Its heavier than the khanjali for some reason
I’m guessing this will have the same carry capacity as the cargobob when in freemode
All it needs are some countermeasures and the Cannon from the Valkarie
I don't know if this is just me, but did rock star make it where you can't open the interactive menu when you're in a helicopter or a aircraft. Cause it hasn't been lending me in the past few days.
i love helicopters in GTA so regardless i'll be getting this
Where is the helicopter? I cant find it anywhere on the vehicle websites
unreleased
Oh
Idk but just yesterday I used the JetSam cargo bob for a vehicle warehouse mission and omg I would have made it to my warehouse 5x faster just driving there 😅 the o it good thing about it is the car won’t have as much repair damage once you deliver it.
BRUH THEY NEED TO RELEASE THE SKYLIFT!!! its fun to fly since its so massive
It's also faster and sturdier (takes more rockets and rotor damage) than Cargobob. But yeah, we need Skylift!
Is it considered a medium or a large aircraft in the hangar?
we have to do some in deph testing to see whats the point of getting this helicopter over the cargo bob, like im sure its faster and better at everything but is it really worth it when some people already owned the cargo bob to begin with
when will it be out for p5 along with the new titan?
A cooler looking cargobob with more features that might be cheaper if you can get the trade price?
I don't really care if it's mid, tbh, I'll happily use it over the normal cargobob.
(I don't own a normal cargobob 👍)
I think you should re do the video, this heli is way better than the cargobob, it has customization, countermeasures, and explosive resistence , it's truly a good helicopter
I think it’s worth it because it holds more people plus it’s got more explosive resistance than the cargobob
i'm buying the DH-7 Iron Mule, you sold me on it XD
It looks more like the classic version of the Cargobob, that'll be enough for Those Guys
Pyrealm, look at onespot gaming’s video comparing the cargobob to the mule. It clearly shows this new chopper is much faster and has more armor. It’ll be perfect for vehicle warehouse missions.
