Also a crying shame that passive 3D is no longer a thing. With an 8K screen you would finally be able to resolve all the pixels on a 3D Blu-ray disc.

Looks phenomenal! As an 8K TV owner, my goto 8K material channel is the Eugene Belsky one! He does the demos for TV companies. Uncompressed 8K footage is still a wet dream I believe

LG upscaling must have done progress! This may be the sharpest image i have seen on TH-cam, and in real life. And it's 4K content on a 8K screen!
Great content Brian amazing tv , have you ever thought of asking Robert to get the tv manufactures to send you guys review samples , Vincent has had the review sample A95k for 2 months , I pretty sure Robert has the same pull .
Hi Michael! I'm able to bring many panels home however due to constraints I'd rather not take one from a customer if demand is high.
I hope for a monster tv like that, lg had put a heatsink on it for lasting, no one speak about this feature on Z series earlier during recent reviews
Viewed this fabulous tv once again at a local Best Buy just to see if the picture was still CRAZY good....and for a surety the picture STILL is impossible! 😳💥....No other tv I've seen comes close to this picture quality...Soooo rich & vibrant & realistic....like being there... Almost feels 3D.... Equally hard to believe the price difference between the 77" and the 88" ....$9,999 versus $24,999! For 10" guys?? 🙄
Hello Eric, excellent comment. The Z2 is also the only 8k consumer oled on the market. The power supply is about 50lbs so there is definitely much more happening than the size difference. The 8K cokor grading also apparently makes the image appear much more rich than other oleds. Thank you so much for watching

Hey Brian, how are u ?, is The abl an issue in the lg c2 or g2 as Sony a80j cause I have Sony a80j and the Abl irritates me while gaming because the brightness dims down, so is it the same case with 2022 lg oleds ? Thankyou 💯
That is one big bad, beautiful TV. People complaining about the price need to know that LG ain't going to charge cheap on it. Not at that size! If I had the money it would be mine no questions asked. Great video my brother.

I thought I was crazy paying 7k for my 75 Z9K but that's a whole other level of expensive. It really looks nice but it better for that kind of money. Funny it actually weighs less than my set does and mines a lot smaller. I got it on my wall, the barrels with studs my TCL used screw right into Sony like it was made for it. Took a lot of tripping and stepping on stuff to get it in place but it's up and staying where I put it.
Probably be working when you're live but we'll see.
Your TV is one of a kind.
It has proved to look really amazing with any high quality HD or higher video with excellent bitrate.
Your videos and all the other good HD 4k video creators and our old favorites we all like to watch just look so much better all around. I'm rewatching a lot of demo videos just to see how much better and brighter they look now.

Curious if it supports 4:4:4 Chroma 12 bit color?
The Richness of colors you mentioned , I saw it on 8k tvs ,, I guess maybe 8k breath some life into colors ,,, I think it will beat them all except s95b ; its brighter and warmer than sonys but let wait and see .
If I had this kind of really crazy money to spend on a TV, it would be hard for me not to buy the 97in C2 instead of the Z2.
I still think 8k makes sense in tv’s 75 inches or bigger, due to pixel density. Below that size, I would stick with 4k, as it would be overkill otherwise.
at the shootout will they be reviewing the s95b a95k sony too ?
The s95b will go against the a95k as well as the G2 and X95K and QN95B

Damn Larry you really love that Panasonic. Yes I've studied it however not seeing it in person I can't give a fair assessment of it. I love Panasonic but they are not available here in the states.

@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Yes definitely, I've never had a OLED but I am concerned about the screen burn. Should I keep the room dark like shutting the curtains. Does have to be kept away from bright light and sunlight? Cheers
They are more durable than people think Matt. Sunlight can hit them all day but it's not the best idea to place them in a window at a store or something.
Brian, Amazing tv and review as usual. Although not practical for most of us, it’s nice to know that the technology is getting jaw-droppingly better by the day. Hoping we will have this kind of quality image in our homes in just a few more years at mainstream prices. I just purchased the 77” LG G2 at $4000 which is more than I wanted to spend initially. I also wanted an 83” to go as big as possible but could absolutely not justify the extra $2500. I feel that $4000 every 5 years is worth it for a great picture but that’s about my max price. I am ok knowing that my picture isn’t top shelf but pat myself on the back for opting for a tv that provides a sweet spot for price and performance.

Hi Brian, another great review, the Lg tv looks great but at £24 in the U.K. you will not get many people buying the LG other companies are selling larger TV’s at a cheaper price with 90% to 95% of the picture quality of the LG,

The LG oled tv that really made my eyes quite amazed was only the Z series, the tv remote also looked very good. The most disliked thing about the signature series is the insane price 🙄😬
Strange. I dont love so much Z9 in stores compared to Sony OLEDs, I prefer last ones
Maybe later 8K oled will be on Panasonic or Sony, I prefer both of them.

Maybe, but it's the highest series from LG, better in pixel density and feels very bright in my opinion, G2 is quite bright and more price friendly.
What about against the g3?
The G3 had MLA so it would win except at the 83" size
Ok because I have a 77 c1. Someone selling a 77g3 with 22hrs for $1300 with a styrofoam mark on the screen (guessing it is antireflective coating wore off) and someone selling a new 77 z2 for $3200. Wasn't sure if worth upgrading to one of those and if so, which one
For that price I expect Micro led with 3d without 3d glasses

Looks like it does have good control with handling subtle gradation and granular light control.
That has been the comment from many I don't remember stating it that way. These are much higher end panels and the upscaling is on point

4k disks on my Z9K look fantastic so I doubt this monster looks bad playing them either. At the level these top end sets are at upscaled high end content should look awesome.
How this tv compare with z9k ?
Hi Romeo! The Z9K is certainly much brighter and has that wow in hdr but the Z2 is wow in contrast and overall picture quality

Hey Brian, how are u, hope u are going well, I have a question, I have the Sony a80j 55 inches I’m thinking of upgrading my tv but im confused between a80k and c2 i game on my ps5 and I am also a movie person, both are my priorities, im thinking of upgrading to 65 inch, so Sony or lg ? I personally think lg cause I wanna try something different cause I already have Sony a80j what would be ur suggestion. Thankyou ❤️

@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY The real kicker is the pricing in the future. Just as 4k TVs once cost an arm and a leg, now can be purchased among the masses. At some point I think 8k will follow suit. And once 8k is common, I don't see any reason for higher resolution to be massively available.

Shootout putting a $20K 8K oled against two LEDs at 50% less isnt even worth the time. The shootout needs to be in 4 groups. 4K/8K and OLED/LCD. The OLED will always win the shootout. This year it will be the A95K or G2 and Z2 for sure. Why even bother? As for 8K, I love my Z9J. Native 8K content or not, the upscaling is fantastic. FWIW, I like the stand the Z2 comes with better than the wall mount.

I wouldn't pay 25k for a tv yeah that's nuts. G2 98 INCH WILL BE JUST FINE
The 92" will cost more . Keep in mind that 77" c8 was 15k four years ago. There are speakers and amps that cost more. There is something for everyone. Thanks for watching

I paid $750 for a c1 55 and it works great no problems at all lol even my u8g same price but with 3 years of protection warranty by electronic express. I didn't get my c1 out of a real deal best buy or any store that over sells tvs. They can charge whatever they want because they are good at making TV's. I know for fact if you are will to spend 25k to watch movies and play games your gonna have a awesome room for a projecter. Malco I go to is awesome

It's the only consumer 8k oled on the planet. It's 88" and has a massive power supply. This doesn't quite justify the price . Keep in mind that a 77" C7 was 15k just a fee years ago. C8 at 77" was 12k
I wonder how is scalling on this flagship oled from poor SD materials from sat tv or similar ? on 83'' 4k looks bad , so here ????????😒
Upscaling from sub 1080p is a challenge for any panel my friend. Upscaling is excellent but can't create what's not there to begin with. Thank you so much for watching
