the toyota hiace super grandia elite has a top horsepower speed has 3,400 rpm while the toyota hiace commuter has a top horsepower speed of 3,400 rpm while the nissan nv350's top horsepower speed has 3,200 rpm. so the toyota hiace super grandia elite and hiace commuter wins for speed. also for horsepower the nissan nv350's horsepower is 127. preety low for a normal van. while the hiace commuter has a top horsepower of 136. preety average and cheaper than the nissan nv350. the last is hiace super grandia elite has a top horsepower speed of 174. preety powerful for a luxury van. so toyota wins.
The Hiace has a ECU-coded speedlimiter which limits its top speed to 163kph. Specifically, the 1KD or 3.0 ones have it while the 2KD or 2.5 doesn't. Against the NV350, the Hiace 3.0 will beat it until 150kph+ cause that's where the speedlimiter engages slowly. The only way to remove/deactivate it is through remapping. But then the Hiace Commuter 2.5 reached 170kph so theoretically, the 3.0 can go 180kph+.
@@valferdinandmonissabiano8641 is the limiter easy to remove? Embarrassing to be left behind on the straight. Even the Avanza outran us. That's why we use the NV350. But with full capacity, the Hiace couldn't keep up though. Dunno why
