Can really recommend the coercer navy issue, really good ship on a budget. With the right skills and fit can clear up to t7 missions. Earns itself back really fast. The dps can easily go higher than what is shown in this video.
Thanks Captain, I'm not really skilled in Destroyers yet but something I will definitely look into after seeing this video, given I am training small lasers anyway for the Punisher Assault/Succubus. I have a feeling people will tend to underestimate the power of these things, add to this that compared to missile launchers, lasers are pretty cheap at the moment you can fit faction level beam lasers for like another 15-20 mils?
@@iancritchley6660 Null isn't that scary, just need to pick your fights and run if things get hairy. Can have fun in small ships without risking something like a CNI or Battlecruiser with 200mils of fittings.
@@iancritchley6660 ha yeah I can empathize there, you really need to find an inquisitor, dead space or scout anomoly for the best isk flow ratting. Rigs are quite cheap to make with modest skills and sell for a fortune we did an inquisitor between four of us and made 100mil each from loot and BPs. Soloing them is pretty tough and you can expect a fight if someone else turns up to loot it.
Awesome video... but missing the showcase PVE or PVP with the Coercer Assault. I was waiting for it but it never happened 😔. It really helps get an idea about the play style with the ship and the kind of fittings. I hope there is one coming in the future. 😬
Any recommendations for mechanical rigs on the Coercer Navy Fit that's cap stable? I fitted mine according to your Navy Issue fit and can't quite pinpoint what I should add for mech rigs.
@@captainbenzie Thanks for the reply! I went ahead and put Aux Thrusters and Targeting System Subcontroller. It's a beast and dishes out nearly 250/DPS when the heat sink is on.
Anyway you can post a video about hybrid builds. Meaning buying ships and not fitting recommended or role based builds. For example I heard there a "Bomber venture" build. Anyways you can elaborate more on hybrid builds.

@@captainbenzie Fair enough, Ive been watching all of your vids, and I mean ALL, even every one of your Beta vids...and eventually subscribed, and yes, the Corex is mentioned...and shown, here and there, but so far absolutely no focus of them,...correct me, if I'm wrong...and please point them out so I can refer to them,...if not, I eagerly await a vid that provides some focus on them and how to make full use of them (pros and cons),...cheers...
Honestly, the best way to counter these when mining is to avoid the fight. Keep an eye on local, keep aligned to a station or gate, always have an exit strategy. That being said, if you in a retriever and have good drone skills it puts out a surprising amount of damage.

@@MrBifonazoleI have also heard that orbiting roids helps you make warp as your already up to speed I am not sure how true that is. I guess you could put on a shield extender to avoid one shot hits but your probably still going to need some +2 core stabilizers to avoid getting locked down. Failing that, a cloaking device to activate when someone you don't know comes into local. Mining in some dead end system is the best strategy and just warping to a planet and cloaking if someone you don't know enters the system.
You should really make an alt that has baseline skills for displaying these ships so your own personal account and playstyle isn't affecting the stats of what you're showing!
Destroyers are kinda dog doo... I just lost mine to a battle venture. 100 to 0 and I only 1/4'd his shield. Rather bothered but will be looking at the venture more closely.
