I have both the white with maple neck and the green with rosewood neck workmanship very nice no sharp fret ends on either bass traditional tail piece , traditional neck , sounds like the jazz from years ago , for that’s what I really like the mid honk really sits well in the mix , heavy yes but. I expect that in a traditional jazz bass , I’m a small guy nearing 80 years young Lol but there’s a lot of wood in a jazz , I have a very good wide strap that spreads the weight well ,so it’s ok it sounds and does what it should do very well , simple bass with a classic sound. What I do not like about the player 2 series is that they did not release anything for left handed people. Which is a shame because I have a player 1 series p bass and love it. Unfortunately fender has let me down for the last time they tend to forget about us lefties existing 😂 so sire, ibanez warwick Ltd basses and schecter are the way to go for me from now on.

Thanks Johnny if the weight doesn't bother you that's great. I know that Sandberg makes ultra light jazz style basses though I have yet to try one
I love the Olympic White, I really wish they would've put the Rosewood neck on it!
