So many people don’t read the directions. They don’t do a patch test. Then if it’s going bad some think oh well this could be a great tic tok and keep right on going. Then when things are really bad they don’t realize how to fix it because they never read the directions fully. They just read enough to get the jist. And they always do it before an important event. These products especially the type like at home eyelash curling/dyeing shouldn’t even be sold to the public. They can blind themselves. Even the way they’re pulling off the masks pulling far from the skin can cause bruising, bleeding, and more painful. Slowly removing with your fingers close to your face is best. I’m just in shock of how flippant people can be with this stuff. Like they think bad stuff won’t happen to them? They should research other peoples results and at least do a PATCH TEST to see how your skin reacts. They always tell you to do that in the directions. I hope they haven’t broken blood vessels under their skin or other permanent damage. Don’t we complain when guys don’t read directions and we all have a piece of furniture that wiggles?

I feel like it always irritates me so badly when I see people who act like those face masks are so painful and complain or cry. It’s easy to just wash it off. No one has to act all crazy about it, it’s like they act like they have no there option now that it’s on them.
I’ve been doing my own Brazilian for a year now. Very first time I was on the floor just like that lady. It took me almost 3 hours. But I’ve learned and now I’m done in around 30 mins
I'm in me 60s and just discovered your channel. These poor ladies...beauty shouldn't be painful. I buy bentonite clay and mix water or fresh aloe with it, it does wonderful things for your skin and rinses off with warm water. I love embracing this stage of my life. Getting older isn't some kind of sentence we serve. I don't try to look younger, but I'm blessed genetically. Women do these these things to themselves, why? Men don't care. They find a woman who's natural and confident very sexy. I am approached by younger men all the time. I try to scare them off with my age, and they say that age ain't nothing but a number. Thry said it when I was 16 and now at 60... they mean that. We only go through the expense and torture because of other women. Just be happy with the woman in the mirror. A positive attitude is very becoming...🌴🌴🌴 here are your trees darling, and your flowers! 🌺🌺🌺
What did that lady do . Pull the skin off her pits? Skin not taut or strip pulled up instead of back on itsself. Some things are best left to someone trained.
As a esthetician, im screaming everytime they tried to pull the mask in their face. like, wtf?! Its commonsense that everytime you pull the mask off, your other hand shoud also pull your skin the opposite side. So that your skin will be stretched evenly so it will not be painful... or warm towel leave it in your face for a minute or 2. To soften the product. Do it repeatedly until its gone.
As an esthetician the waxing clips killed me. If wax is stuck and it’s hard wax use a hair dryer to SLOWLY WARM IT UP! Do not use it till it melts it’s too hot. Warm it up and pull against the hair growth. If you used soft wax and don’t have strips use an old T shirt or fabric you don’t care for. Place it on the strip rubbing until it warms up. Let it rest a few seconds and pull against the hair growth. DO NOT LIFT STRAIGHT UP WHEN WAXING YOU WILL REMOVE THE OUTER LAYER OF SKIN. Any wax you cannot get off or wax that is left in hair you DO NOT want to remove use an oil of any kind and apply generously. Let it sit and gently rub the area. Use wax strips to gather the oil and wax on. Do not pull you could remove hair. Please please please watch videos prior to home waxing. Please do your research and be safe. Hard wax is supposed to be a thick honey consistency not RUNNY. if it is it’s way too hot and will burn you.
My girlfriend had gotten a chemical peel and she never really had any skin issues prior, just occasional acne here and there, but after her peel, her skin looked almost like the cheese on a pizza. It was constantly red, it was always sweaty, to the point she would dab it with a paper towel every few minutes, like full on water on face look, and she ended up with little bumps on top of the sweat and redness, it was horrible, and it never went away, that was her face every day, until she passed away a few years ago. The girl was wet sweaty faced in middle of winter. Bad. Thats why I never got anything like that.
Letting my body be natural has been the best decision for my mental health, finances, and self esteem. I dont have to worry about any of this when the most i do is pluck my brows and wax my face. My skin has also never been better 💁🏼♀️
For someone who does their own maintenance and my own waxing. It took some trial and error but nothing like these people. Test the wax on your arm before applying to a larger area. I now do my own Brazilians and I always apply a prewax and post wax spray and do my exfoliating in between. I also apply a hair inhibitor cream to reduce the hair growth.
ANY TIME you feel unattractive or the need to change something drastically,,, just watch one of these,,,,we are perfectly fine just the way we are,do not hurt yourselves ladies. Please ❤

Don’t have children. If you think waxing is painful, even waxing gone wrong, don’t have babies. Labor is pain beyond belief. You feel like your body is trying to turn inside out. With my second child, I went au natural. At the most intense part, I lost control, grabbed fistfuls of my hair and screamed on the top of my lungs. Of course my boy was 8 lbs 6 oz., 20 3/4 inches with a head so big, he is a legend in the hospital. All the nurses were saying no wonder I was screaming. I became friends with one of the CNA’s a couple months later and she was like, “OMG, you’re the mom of baby Stone!?!?” My son is 25 now and he’s 6’2 200lbs with broad shoulders and still has a big head! Lol!
I get the feeling that some people would be like “the beauty industry told me earlobes are ugly and we all need to get rid of our earlobes so I asked my subscribers on social media if I should cut off my earlobes and they said do it so here we go”😮
46:32: this is how swollen my lips looked after applying some freshly bought lip gloss from Too faced (lip injection extreme) at Sephora in Florence (on vacation in Italy). It immediately started to burn so I thought I was just being a Nancy (it described a ‘tingle’). After 15 minutes I washed it off. An hour later my teenage son comes to ask what’s for dinner and he yelled when he saw me. Ended up in an Italian hospital where no one seemed to understand English, French or German. They got a plastic surgeon and all, I only understood ‘filler’. And I’m just trying to explain ‘no filler, too faced…lip gloss’. Thank god for that one nurse that knew the brand too faced, understood I didn’t had actual fillers injected and probably a very allergic reaction. It was solved with one injection of antihistamine 😂. It was very scary, can’t imagine what that would be if something was injected in your face that would give that reaction 😮

If you have sensitive skin do not wax your face especially. It can not only take you skin in thin areas with it , it can take weeks to heal. That burning afterwards is intense and hurts like you wouldn’t believe. It’s a definite a no for me these days.

This is my first time here! I loved it!!! I was yelling at my phone 😂 my husband was like, "They can't hear you, babe." Please, please don't listen to social media where your skinhealth is concerned or any health related matter. Peel off masks are horrible for your skin! I've never gone to get a facial and had my medspa offer a peel off mask. I get chemical peels, but that is COMPLETELY different! The woman that already had a damaged skin barrier then did the black peel off that took her "baby hairs," Don't do that! If your skin is dry or you over did exfoliants, moisturizer, and SPF. Let your skin heal!!! As for tanning, I'm a huge self tanner. I will only use saint tropez, coco & Eve, or tanceuticals. I also like bondi tan and tan luxe. Oily or acne prone skin, st tropez face spray is #1! I promise you will love it. Thank you for spreading the word of good skin health. More people doing your type of videos might save people from permanent deformatities. It can and has happened 😢 so thank you!!!
lordy I’ve done similar. 😞 I had went on vacation one year to the beach with my husband, and I had bought a waxing kit that I would just do at the hotel that evening once checking in. Figured “oh this is fine, this will be great, won’t have to worry all week” I used too much and it got stuck to where it pulled off small chunks OF MY SKIN. My husband had to come and hold a blow dryer for me and gently pull the rest away 😂 9 years later and I have little white dotted scars on my kitty. Never again. I won’t even go to a professional because that scarred me for life - literally and figuratively. I’ve stuck with trimmers ever since and just using alcohol and lidocaine to keep razor bumps away.
As a woman I feel so ashamed! I am literally crying with laughter...so so sorry. The things done for beauty, omg! Beauty is pain is ringing truth, truth right now. Hope each of you find better days ahead. ❤❤
I feel every bit of the second girl. I was bored during 2020 lockdown and thought it was a good idea to watch my hoo haa for the first time EVER. I mean, I get my eyebrows waxed so how hard could it be. I ripped it off and passed out on my bathroom floor from the pain. Never again. 😭
I'm literally screaming at some of them. " NO NO NO NOT THAT WAY !" " THAT'S WRONG!!!" "STTTTOOOPPPPP!!!!" 😮😮😮😮😮 😂 Lady from Melbourne looks BURNT!!! OUCHY!
I do my own lash lifts and tinting and it’s very tedious arranging the lashes perfectly. If you don’t get them right your lashes will be all wonky, I know this from experience. That girl was behaving dangerously by playing with chemicals around her eyes while performing for a camera. I was cringing the whole time.
The very first time I got waxed I went for the full Brazilian b/c we were going to be the Keys for a month. I went to the new spa in our area (I live in a very exclusive golf resort community in Georgia, born & bred). Their website showed all of their aesthetician's accreditation, so I felt completely comfortable...especially considering that waxing was one of ONLY THREE SERVICES they provided! I had had waxing done before, but never the full monty, so to speak! 😂 The girl brings me back, very calming atmosphere, beautiful ambiance (much like a massage environment). I get fully undressed, go into the butterfly stance, she starts her work. I could tell she was nervous, but I did my best to reassure her. Long story long...it was the most excruciating pain I had lived through, with the exception of childbirth...and I think that may have been easier! I could tell by the look on her face that something was very, VERY wrong! Anywhoooo, I endured the pain, sucked it up, and let her complete her job. Wow wow wow wow...what a MAJOR mistake! I wish I could show y'all the photos I took afterwards. Evidently (I found this info out later, after showing another aesthetician the photos and explaining the story), my girl had used the totally incorrect wax strip cloths, the incorrect wax, and the temp of the wax itself was WAY TOO HIGH!!! When I tell y'all that it looked like someone had a baseball bat to my inner thighs and nether regions, I mean every word of it. And the worst part was that I had to go to the Keys looking like that! My only saving grace was that we had rented a private ho.e with a private beach, so no one could see me except my husband & our two lityle boys. Y'all honestly might get physically ill if you did see the photos...I was in shock. The pain went away well before the bruises...but if someone had seen me, law enforcement would've surely been called! 😮😮😮

Very well said and exactly what I thought 👍@@phoenixgirl70

Ya have to know how to rip the wax strip properly. Tried underarm and the bruise was so huge it was way down my arm. Some of it read like I hit some blood vessels or something. Was quite bad lol
Soooo why didn’t we just WASH OFF the Knox gelatin mask???🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 baby I’m HOLLERING!!!

I feel like it always irritates me so badly when I see people who act like those face masks are so painful and complain or cry. It’s easy to just wash it off. No one has to act all crazy about it, it’s like they act like they have no there option now that it’s on them.

Awww…you are too kind ! Welcome to the Islanders Family 🎉
I know that going to aestheticians costs a lot of money but it’s expensive because they are licensed professionals and they know what they are doing.
I do my sideburns & what I learned to do is trim the hairs down as much as possible then wax. :) I think this can be applied to waxing any area
1/4 in or 1/2 cm is good for waxing
What do you have against sideburns though? 😰

It is super important to moisturizer your tattoos to help prevent major scabs from forming. And to help with the itching. It may be the same with the microblading.
Microblading is technically a tattoo, right?

She had to get fire and rescue to help unscrew the seat with her in it 😮

Lol!

Why is it that no one ever thinks to wet their face whenever they have a mask or anything on their face 20:24 that's just too painful to remove or when it's about to rip off some hair that you never intended it to remove? Lol, people need to stop and think before immediately going into panic mode 🤔

I had went on vacation one year to the beach with my husband, and I had bought a waxing kit that I would just do at the hotel that evening once checking in. Figured “oh this is fine, this will be great, won’t have to worry all week”
I used too much and it got stuck to where it pulled off small chunks OF MY SKIN. My husband had to come and hold a blow dryer for me and gently pull the rest away 😂
9 years later and I have little white dotted scars on my kitty. Never again. I won’t even go to a professional because that scarred me for life - literally and figuratively.
I’ve stuck with trimmers ever since and just using alcohol and lidocaine to keep razor bumps away.
You put the clear alcohol on first and then a thin layer of lidocaine?

@SusanDelgado1177 I know!
Home waxing is NOT for the weak, and I'm WEAK 🤣🤣🤣🤣
People STOP trying everything.
FR!!! And stop going to anybody!! Too many people out here just trying to make/ save a quick buck. Its truly not worth it if you:
-don't know what you're doing
-are not *AT LEAST* an enthusiast or slight perfectionist
If you say you can't afford to do something people berate you and tell you to just do it yourself and stop making excuses. Then you stop, do it yourself, and end up like these ladies in the video.
