I only do when I'm in a bind because my son and I got h pylori...he has chronic constipation now and was hospitalized at 5 and i have ibs now..we're clear from it now but dr said 80% of humans have it from ppl making food without washing their hands and never knoww. Dental pain is crazy. My entire family has had to get dentures before they are 30 we have a genetic defect that the enamel doesn't form correctly and our teeth basically fall apart. I spent thousands of dollars in my early 20s to try not to have dentures and failed miserably.
My upper teeth are all gone. I four and five on the lower sides. I had to quit wearing the lower partial dentures because of nerves showing. I quit brushing them so some tartar covered the nerves. I brush my teeth and gums every few days, more time is spent brushing my tongue over not there teeth. If only I didn't still have my lower wisdom teeth.

As a disabled 59 year old grandma, I don't bath daily but I do use a bidet attachment and lots of liners. Bathing and or showering it exhausting to me. What has bathing less has done. Washing my curly hair more than once every five days has it go straight. It doesn't look dirty for four days. I don't have oily skin anymore. Soap on my face once a week and my skin rarely breaks out anymore. My breath is fresher than most in my home and hardly brush my lowers and my upper are gone. My gums have receeded and crumbled as my spine. Honey get your teeth pulled the pain isn't worth it. Tooth aches are mind killing

If brushing her teeth crumbles them, how does she eat? At 36, I had 23 teeth pulled and got full dentures. It cost me over $2300. I saved for a long time and found a dental clinic that charges very cheap prices. Dentures suck but it's better than what I was dealing with.
Brushing mine would break them, also when they was clean they were so sharp my lips and cheeks would be cut up for days. I got mine pulled over a year ago at 27.

Imagine not just thinking diseases were fewer before better hygiene, but confidently telling others you do not have good hygiene. People died of dysentery and infections all the time! You think the average lifespan of the average person being 40 was because they were healthier? The death rates were insane from diseases. The teeth one got to me. I am 41 years old, single father of two. I never received any help or support and my teeth started breaking while eating about 18 years ago. Then they started breaking off when I brushed and flossed around 15 years ago. Nowadays they hurt so bad that I don't do anything with them. Just last week I had another molar break at the gum line. I'm so sick and in pain all the time because of it, and I don't have any medical or dental insurance. Honestly just waiting for it to kill me, but I don't want to die. Lol

Jodi, when you said, "NAH YNAM FROM PEOPLE," it reminded me of my mum because she ALWAYS told us about people's nastiness! When we were little and going to someone's home, mum would cook dinner earlier and give us THE TALK before we left! When we got there we had to sit quietly, and, if they asked us 'would you like something to eat or drink', we would quickly look at mum and she'd give us THAT stare which meant, (if yuh say yes ah gon beat yuh when yuh get home), we immediately answered 'no thank you!' We'd look back at her and she'd give us that little smile which meant (good, you remembered)! When l had my own girls l gave them the same talk!😂😂

Also she can use a cloth to brush her teeth with her fingers so it’s more gentle like when cleaning baby teeth before the brush. For the teeth that have broken she may be able to repair then with partial vaneers and if they can get her health together they maybe able to do a light overlay of vaneers on her teeth so she doesn’t break them all the time.

Jfc, I had bad teeth pretty much from the time my permanent ones started coming in. By my early 20s, I was in constant pain, sick pretty much constantly from the infection and my teeth just crumbled. The number of times people told me that I needed to see a dentist- I swear to blue f**k I would have started running the stupid mofos over with a car if I'd had one. DO YOU THINK PEOPLE WHO ARE IN CONSTANT PAIN & HATE THE WAY THEIR TEETH LOOK ACTUALLY DON'T F-ING KNOW THAT THEY NEED TO SEE A DENTIST? Do you know how much it costs just to get an initial visit & x-rays? And that's not even going into the cost to actually address the issues, I'm talking about just getting in the door to talk to a dentist. And no, there's no programs giving out free extensive dental work or helping anyone pay the tens of thousands of dollars. Every once in awhile ONE person comes across a dentist who feels sorry for them & helps them a bit. Otherwise you'd have to not pay rent or buy groceries for a year just to get one thing fixed, which is even more difficult if you have kids. Do people really not understand the concept of "I don't have the money to get that fixed"?

As a disabled 59 year old grandma, I don't bath daily but I do use a bidet attachment and lots of liners. Bathing and or showering it exhausting to me.
What has bathing less has done. Washing my curly hair more than once every five days has it go straight. It doesn't look dirty for four days. I don't have oily skin anymore. Soap on my face once a week and my skin rarely breaks out anymore.
My breath is fresher than most in my home and hardly brush my lowers and my upper are gone. My gums have receeded and crumbled as my spine.

Care credit is a gross business but unfortunately it's better than nothing. I lived rough most of my life and got into drugs and stuck in that lifestyle and thankfully I'm doing great today and I have worked to get my credit good so I can afford to get my teeth fixed but now I'm too scared to actually do it 😅😢

If brushing her teeth crumbles them, how does she eat? At 36, I had 23 teeth pulled and got full dentures. It cost me over $2300. I saved for a long time and found a dental clinic that charges very cheap prices. Dentures suck but it's better than what I was dealing with.

Imagine not just thinking diseases were fewer before better hygiene, but confidently telling others you do not have good hygiene. People died of dysentery and infections all the time! You think the average lifespan of the average person being 40 was because they were healthier? The death rates were insane from diseases. When they stopped letting people throw their poops outside, indoor plumbing, frequent washing, and all around better hygiene has increased our chances of survival greatly!

The teeth one got to me. I am 41 years old, single father of two. I never received any help or support and my teeth started breaking while eating about 18 years ago. Then they started breaking off when I brushed and flossed around 15 years ago. Nowadays they hurt so bad that I don't do anything with them. Just last week I had another molar break at the gum line. I'm so sick and in pain all the time because of it, and I don't have any medical or dental insurance. Honestly just waiting for it to kill me, but I don't want to die. Lol
