I love this video!! I disassembled my vacuum right along with you. I have to wait 3 days for my houses but at least it's ready and clean waiting on them! Thank you so much! This old girl appreciates you. 😃
Thanks for making this helpful video. I just bought the parts - and the torx bit (thank you) - and I wouldn't have been willing to try without seeing this.
I fixed mine and I have a tip!! 😊 I cut my hose down to where the threads perfectly matched the threads of the old tube, it’s just slightly longer and the threads are a little off, once you line it up and trim it down, it slips in perfectly!
This was very helpful, thanks. The Torx screwdriver set I ordered from Amazon has shanks that are barely long enough for the task, and the broken flex hose seemed to be screwed on at either end a bit misaligned so screwing it off was not possible and I had to basically rip it to pieces at either end, but overall the task worked just fine as i followed your video.
Good luck on having those special screwdriver heads handy. Most normal people don't have em'. My suggestion is...shit-can the POS and just get another vacuum (different brand). I noticed even YOU had a fun time putting the damn thing back together...Most of us would barely remember how to put it back together....But thanks anyway...perfect for the pro...not us dummies.
Came here for my hose, now.... I'm just gonna keep watching this guy, he's great.
Nice !
not gonna lie. This is just what I needed. You are actually hilarious, and seemingly without even trying. Love it. Thanks.
Hah, thanks !

Oh ok yeah, you could totally change the timing of the threads that way. Good Idea !

Oh, tight fit ? Well, sometimes chopping the old part to get it out is just the way it goes.
I found it helped to smear a couple of drops of washing up detergent on the ends of the new hose to help thread it in.
Ohhh, you know, I forget lubricant is a thing sometimes.
@@DATT 😂😂😂😂😂yeah
@@gavinwilliams1687 Oh boy. Yeah I slipped into that one.

Yeah eh, I guess it can be tricky.
Mine is orange… but it looks the same I hope this works 😂
Yeah, I can't be sure myself. I put in the description the models this is suppose to be compatible with.
Mine has regular Phillips screws. No security screws. 🤷♂️
Oh nice. I wonder if yours is a new or older one.
@@DATT On the brush roller cover it says 2006. Wow I’d say that’s old. 🤣
@@KevinHurley-np1gs Yeah eh, I'll have to ask how old this unit is.
