I think Iron Man 2 has some of the most enternaining scenes in the whole MCU because we get to see his personality traits on overdrive. For example, the court scene (perfect), the donut scene, Tony and Peppers banter when he's hanging up the painting and then makes Her CEO, the opening entrance onto the stage. Extremely cool and fun scenes What do you think Sean?
I’m glad someone realises that the Incredible Hulk isn’t horrible. It’s bad bug not to bad. Also why do you dislike gotg vol 2 so much Ino it’s your opinion but it’s actually I think really good. Sure the plots meh but the jokes and music is great and the action is also amazing especially the opening fight and the yondu, rocket and Groot escaping scene. It’s not that bad.
@@davids.3584 Agreed, Iron Man 2 gets hated on the most. I get the villian isnt necessarily top tier but I think its a fun film. I think Iron Man 3 is easily the worst in the triloigy.
I saw Guardians 3 last night. All I can say is: wow. Is it too early to call it a masterpiece? It was so well made, the characters were developed as well as any MCU film to date and the emotion hit home multiple times. They took such care with it and it goes straight into my top 5.
@@giannisakoumpo tell me how it’s deep then 😂. I love the movie but it can’t be compared to gotg 3 on deepness just because someone dies, it’s all basic stuff
I honestly don't understand how people enjoyed that movie (Shang Chi). It's the first time I actually fell asleep in a cinema. That 2nd arc was so horrible and boring.
@Mephisto Shang chi came out during the time when delta variants hit the hardest.Theaters all have capacity limit and theaters in some countries were even closed due to the pandemic
In S Tier I got: Guardians of The Galaxy, Iron Man, Avengers Infinity War, Guardians Vol. 3, Avengers, Captain America The Winter Soldier, Captain America Civil War In A Tier: Spider-Man: No Way Home, Avengers Endgame, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Guardians Vol 2, Shang Chi, Thor, Captain America The First Avenger In B Tier: Spider-Man: Far From Home, Doctor Strange, Avengers Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, Iron Man 2, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Ant-Man and The Wasp, The Incredible Hulk, Thor: Ragnarok, Thor: The Dark World In C Tier: … In D Tier: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ant Man and The Wasp Quantumania, Black Widow, Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness, Captain Marvel And in F Tier: Eternals, Thor Love and Thunder My list is controversial but whatever it’s just my opinion 👍
@@nbkw48 honestly, that movie gets a slight pass for me because of his passing. It’s in a weird category of it’s own because they were forced into an impossible position. I agree the angel and iron heart cgi was bad, and yeah the ship battle was a bit odd, but I thought they did a good job showing various characters dealing with grief, I rather liked the redesign of Namor and Atlantis, and although Shuri isn’t the strongest lead I thought she did well. By no means is it the best, but I’d probably put it at B.
@@user-jt1js5mr3f cause I just wasn’t a fan of it. Credit where it’s due, the tribute scenes are beautiful, Basset was phenomenal, and they actually wrote a very interesting arc for Shuri. The whole grief theme was felt all throughout. Besides that, I don’t like Namorrrrrrrsito, Wakanda feels like the bad guys to me in this one (and you went back on decisions made in the first movie? What’s up with that?), some plot holes (why was there no fight for the throne like there always was? Seems very convenient to me), Riri was a very annoying character (I’m getting tired of the carbon copies of our old heroes who have no personality and are just perfect at everything and have no arc or flaws for us to connect with them. Rey is another good example from another franchise), the action was honestly boring, the movie felt it could’ve been shortened by 20 minutes, etc etc. Boseman will forever be missed and his absence is felt throughout the movie. But, just because he died does not let me give this movie a pass. I will forever respect everything the crew and writers did to get this movie out, but whether or not I enjoyed a movie all depends on the movie and story itself. And I just was not a fan of the movie or the story itself…
I love tier lists, there is something just fun about making them, especially with movies. Great video! I’m also glad that you enjoy Guardians 3 after expressing how much you just LOVE the 2nd one 😂
I have a lot of issues with my biological father but my brother in law stepped up and ended up being the closest to a dad that I've ever had, he passed in 2021 and the Yondu and Star Lord story really resonates with me. I always cry when I watch Vol.2. I appreciate the reevaluation Sean! Much love from OH!
One of the things I love about the first three phases was the movies all had a different feel and tone to them and somehow they managed to bring those different tones together when they had a team up avengers film.
Saw Guardians 3 opening day. Loved the movie so much and it had me in tears both from laughing and crying. Amazing send off to my favorite MCU heroes. Definitely agree that it's top tier MCU!!!
I had an early screening for GOTG 3 and I absolutely loved it! I’ve always loved the guardians they’re one of my favourite superhero teams and James Gunn closed out their stories perfectly. The emotions, comedy and darker tones were all balanced so, so well. As tragic and upsetting as it was, I loved that we got to learn more about Rocket’s backstory. He was already my favourite member of the guardians and that confirmed it. Top 5 MCU.
Three givens in life: -The sky is above us. -Money is a form of currency. -Sean will criticize Far From Home in an MCU video for having a villain who has scorn for Tony Stark followed by “hit me baby one more time.”
Honestly guardians 3 (which I loved) made me like guardians 2 even less, while some things connected which was cool it just highlighted how I find vol 2 to be a miss step. Other than Quill it doesn’t really push the characters beyond their arcs from 1, while 3 gave all characters some form of arc while keeping the heart despite the darker tone. Rocket’s behaviour in 2 is more justified however after watching 3 which is a positive
Reverse for me… moved GOTG Vol.2 up one rank in my book. You dont get 3 or Rocket’s ark without 2. Its part of a trilogy for me. Now the best trilogy cuz Cap1 is inferior to Vol. 2
Mine is that I think Thor: Ragnarok belongs in the Bottom Tier (or if I'm feeling generous that day, interchange it with Fun But Flawed. The "Immigrant Song" scenes are one of its very few saving graces with me).
thats ur biggest?? thats not even a hot take, many people love it. My ranking has soooo many hot takes. Example: I like Ant Man 3 and Captain Marvel better than Endgame. In fact, Endgame is mid for me
Top Tier: Guardians 1; Endgame; Winter Soldier; Infinity War; Guardians 3; No Way Home Great: Avengers; Black Panther; Ragnarok; Guardians 2; Civil War; Dr. Strange; Homecoming; Far From Home Enjoyable: Age of Ultron; Shang Chi; First Avenger; Iron Man; Captain Marvel; Antman; Wakanda Forever Fun But Flawed: Love & Thunder; Thor; Multiverse of Madness; Incredible Hulk; Antman & Wasp; Black Widow; Eternals; Quantamania Bottom Tier: Iron Man 2; Ironman 3; Dark World
I just rewatched Spider-Man: Homecoming and it jumped like two tiers for me… there is the right amount of jokes at the right time, the seriousness seems real, Keaton plays one of the best Villians in the entire series in my opinion
S Tier: Infinity War, Endgame, Iron Man, No Way Home, Civil War, The Winter Soldier A Tier: Guardians 1, Avengers, Ragnarok, Guardians Volume 3, Homecoming, Black Panther, Iron Man 3 B Tier: Multiverse of Madness, Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man, The First Avenger, Shang-Chi, Ant-Man and the Wasp C Tier: Age of Ultron, Far From Home, Doctor Strange, Guardians Volume 2, Thor, Quantumania D Tier: Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Love and Thunder, Black Widow, Captain Marvel, The Dark World, Eternals
I love your tier rankings! Your editing is also really on point here too. I can’t say I agree with all of your your placements, but I can see why you ranked them this way…
It's really funny cause i really like Iron Man 2, Hulk and Thor 1. I really don't understand the hate, they rank way ahead of the new thor and the TV series of MCU.
I entirely agree. People will put Iron Man 2 Hulk and Thor in F tier, meanwhile they’re both sitting at least in my B tier. Just different tastes lol I know I wouldn’t put Wakanda Forever higher than D tier but others will put it in S and not even think twice about it 😂
@@NinthShinigami for sure, I agree with all those takes. Wakanda forever was just way too damn long. I loved that it was more dark and mature but it dragged hard
Personally thor 1 and iron man 2 are some of tbe worst movies to me. Thor 1 story wasnt bad but the CGI was top 5 worst, especially the end when fighting the big asgardian machine. Iron man 2 was the absolute worst and Character assassinated justin hammer. Hammer hacked iron mans armour and made tony stark kill someone yet in this movie he was a bumbling idiot. Whiplash was really crimson dynamo but stupider and without a cool suit. Hulk is ok, if marvel would have had the cool redesigned CGI of hulk that was in avengers this movie wouldn't be hated. I think its a good movie but it doesnt look great
so thats okay but the jokes in Ragnarok arent? I thought Sean should've stopped after the first film but he just kept going and it was hard to keep track of what he was saying because he would pause mid-word to nail the punchline over conveying his thoughts
Sean, I enjoyed this particular list so much. This was the most fun I've had with rankings/tiers since End Game came out. Great video! P.S. Your Far From Home opinion could become the new GotG2 opinion lol
Here’s my top 10 10. Spider-Man: Far From Home 9. Iron Man 8. Captain America: Civil War 7. Guardians of the Galaxy 6. Captain America: The Winter Solider 5. Thor: Ragnarok 4. Spider-Man: No Way Home 3. Avengers: Endgame 2. Avengers: Infinity War 1. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
GOTG 3 was the best MCU movie since endgame, it was so emotional, it hurt me, top 5 villain, it is the 2nd mcu movie to make me cry, it is top 7 MCU. I loved it so much more than I thought I would and I already had high expectations, it was incredible.
Hey Sean! I love your videos and I just watched GOTG 3. When I first got out of the movies, it took me a while to process what I just watched. I gave it 6 to 7 hours then I gave it a proper rating. 10/10. It is my third favorite MCU film behind Infinity war and GOTG 1.
I know opinion on Thor 1 isn't shared by many, but it doesn't get enough credit for what it did for the MCU. It added a fantasy element early on that has endured to this day. It also gave us THE BEST villain/antagonist in the entire MCU, Loki. It's a flawed movie for sure but the scenes between Thor, Loki and Odin have genuine a pathos missing from today's MCU.
I always notice that every single one of these movies is a fun watch. Sure some are the best and some are certainly better than others but all of them are entertaining.
Im glad you pointed out the hate for brie lasron was overblown. One of the things about not being a sjw is that you're not supposed to harass people for comments they make even if they are offensive to you. It's more honorable to forgive and move on.
Just saw GOTG 3 an hour ago, it was great, def better than Quantimania. I think that GOTG 2 was better than the first, it’s weird but I love it, 3 is prob the worst out of the the three but is still top tier. That’s how good those movies are
Gotg 3 is in my top 5 mcu movies,i just can't believe what did i watch yesterday, incredible movie with so many emotions, but I don't understand last post credit scene, star lord will be back soon but what about other characters?
@@Vladan_86 I don't believe there is any official word, just speculation. It means they don't intend to leave Star Lord alone forever, but it could be awhile. I expect we may see some others again one day, but it might be awhile. The new Guardians team is most likely, though we may not see Mantis, Drax, or Gamora again. Those three had more decisive endings in my opinion (and we know Dave is done)
Best phase 1 film: Iron Man 1 Best phase 2 film: Captain America: the winter solider Best phase 3 film: Avengers: Infinity war Best phase 4 film: Spider man: no way home Best phase 5 film: Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 (so far)
My opinion Best Phase 1: The Incredible Hulk (I know im about to get a lot of hate for this) Best Phase 2: Ant-Man Best Phase 3 Pt.1 : GOTG Vol 2 Best Phase 3 Pt. 2: Endgame Best Phase 4: No Way Home Best Phase 5: GOTG Vol 3 I know phase 3 isnt split into 2 parts but i thought id do it anyways
@@jacindaellison3363 Phase 1: Iron Man 2 Phase 2: Thor the Dark World Phase 3: Captain Marvel Phase 4: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Phase 5 nothing yet
A very balanced and fair view of all the movies. There were a couple surprises with Ant Man 2 being as high as it was, as well as your fair critique of the Eternals. Now I also want to watch Shang-Chi. Good work as always! Been following for over 4 years!
Watched Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3 on May 6th. Definitely a good story line. You go from Happy to Laughing to Sad to Sobbing. It’s a really good plot and it’s definitely heartbreaking, you will cry while watching. I know I did💔
Best guardians movie. I LOVE IT!!!!! The high evolutionary is a top 3 MCU villain and this is a top 5 MCU movie. Every character gets their chance to shine and rightfully so because James Gunn loves these characters. Highly recommend… I LOVE IT!!!! Best Guardians movie.
I also like dr. Strange 1 and 2. 2nd movie was great better than ant man. Its oonly bad moments are cgi because they didn't have enoff money. 1st movie was great, litle time but they still sucseded and it was awesome. And it should go way higher like in great tear close to black phanter or so. Dr. Strange is so underated.
Lol Sean, I've literally agreed with you on GOTG Vol 2 for years, and I agree with you now as well. I rewatched it yesterday and bumped it up from like a 6/10 to 8/10. Also, watched Vol 3 today in IMAX and loved it!
Just a disclaimer that Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 is not on my list because I still have to go see the movie. With that said, here is my ranking: 1. Avengers: Endgame 2. Avengers: Infinity War 3. Spider-Man: No Way Home 4. Thor: Ragnarok 5. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 6. Captain America: Civil War 7. The Avengers 8. Guardians of the Galaxy 9. Spider-Man: Homecoming 10. Spider-Man: Far From Home 11. Ant-Man 12. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings 13. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever 14. Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2 15. Thor: The Dark World 25. Iron Man 3 26. Iron Man 2 27. The Incredible Hulk 28. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 29. Captain Marvel 30. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania 31. Thor: Love and Thunder And just for fun, the Disney+ shows ranked too: 1. Moon Knight 2. Loki 3. Hawkeye 4. What If? 5. WandaVision 6. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier 7. Ms. Marvel 8. She-Hulk: Attorney At Law
Love the tiers, would only make a few changes: Captain Marvel is the ONLY movie in bottom tier (have 0 desire to ever rewatch). Thor Love and Thunder, Black Panther 2, and Eternals are "fun but flawed". Everything else is enjoyable or greater. To explain my low ranking of black panther - I just didn't care for the heavy handed messaging. Calling people "colonizer" just reeks of preachiness and takes me out of the movie. There are lots of moments like that.
A random ranking idea I had recently was ranking the MCU by each year 2008-2023 based on what was in each year. This is how I'd rate each year from worst to best: 14) 2010 13) 2013 12) 2011 11) 2022 10) 2008 9) 2015 8) 2021 7) 2023 (only based on quantumania and guardians 3) 6) 2012 5) 2016 4) 2014 3) 2017 2) 2018 1) 2019
My ranking: 1. Avengers: Endgame 2. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 3. Black Panther 4. Captain America: Civil War 5. Spider-Man: No Way Home 6. The Avengers 7. Avengers: Infinity War 8. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 9. Thor: Ragnarok 10. Iron Man 11. Spider-Man: Far From Home 12. Guardians of the Galaxy 13. Captain America: The First Avenger 14. Spider-Man: Homecoming 20. Ant-Man 21. Avengers: Age of Ultron 22. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever 23. Eternals 24. Thor 25. Black Widow 26. Iron Man 2 27. Ant-Man and the Wasp 28. Doctor Strange 29. Thor: Love and Thunder 30. Captain Marvel 31. Thor: The Dark World 32. The Incredible Hulk
So I heard somebody leaving the theater last week say that Guardians is the best trilogy of films in the MCU. Based on this list, I take it you agree with me that Captain America is the best trilogy. I would put Winter Soldier in top tier which means the deciding factor is Guardians 2 vs The First Avenger

I can't help, but all guardian films are outstanding, and they are - for me - the best what the Mcu delivers. All 3 got an 10/10. I know that many other don't like the 2. Part. After Guardians 3 I leave the Mcu, no more movies and series for me.
Heck yeah, completely agree. The Guardians films are my favorite and all I need from the MCU. I feel like they should be a standalone trilogy outside of the MCU..easily 10/10 for all the films 😃
I probably have changed the order a hundred times, but as of right now, including everything Marvel Studios has produced, this is my list, following your tiers, I would divide them in top tier (1-6), great (7-14), enjoyable (15-23), fun but flawed (24-39) and bottom tier (39-44): 1. Avengers: Endgame 2. Avengers: Infinity War 3. Spiderman: No way home 4. Captain America: Civil War 5. Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 6. Black Panther 7. The Avengers 8. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever 9. Guardians of the Galaxy 10. Ant Man 11. Spiderman: Far from home 12. Eternals 13. Hawkeye 14. Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday special 15. Spiderman: Homecoming 39. Thor: Ragnarok 40. One-shots 41. Thor: the dark world 42. Iron Man 2 43. I am Groot 44. The Incredible Hulk
Dude , you do the whole MCU a slight disservice by not Putting Winter Soldier on the top tier list. I challenge you to watch that over and if you still put behind by a notch, watch again. lol. The pace and action. Sequences are 2nd to none. The big highway fight with that absolutely killer soundtrack puts it in top tier. Brilliant action, awesome character building along with infinity war my favorite
GOTG is probably my favourite movie franchise Its the one trilogy that keeps me interested in Marvel honestly Vol.3 was phenomenal and based on the post credit scenes, it seems like we’re getting more GOTG!
Avengers is my favorite MCU film for a number of reasons, and I've loved it since it came out. It was the beginning of film crossing for super heroes, and it was beautifully done. Second is definitely Infinity War, for a lot of the same reasons, but different ones as well. Both great and unique films in their own rights. Peak MCU content.
For me, Top tier: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Great: Spider-Man: Homecoming, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Black Panther, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Avengers, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Guardians of the Galaxy Enjoyable: Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor: Love and Thunder, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Doctor Strange Fun but flawed: Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Eternals, Iron Man 3 Bottom tier: Black Widow, Thor, Iron Man 2, Captain Marvel, The Incredible Hulk, Thor: The Dark World
Far from home was great! Also, they made it clear they had to repeat the Junior year meaning Peter should have been a senior who graduated already. So he was probably an adult. Still weird, but not illegal.
I think the movie guardians of the galaxy vol 2 is either u like it or dislike it the first time watching it getting worse everytime you do watch it and then when you haven’t watched it in a while people seem to enjoy it again it’s one of those weird movies 🍿
Hi Sean great tier lost definitely agree with a lot of the decisions. I just want to ask one question would you ever do a re ranking of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies? Since it would probably be a lot different from the previous ranking, I would be interested to see it

Hey Sean Love Your Channel, l Wasn't Aware About The Comments You Made About Guardians Vol.2, BUT I AGREE!!! I Have Watched It Multiple Times And I Also Like It A Little Less Each Time. I Read When James Gunn Was Making The 1st Guardians Since Marvel Studios Didn't Have The Rights To The Fantastic 4 They Chose To Make A Film About A Lesser Known Team But Gave It The "FEEL" Of Those Early F.F. Stories. Due To That Fact Gunn Had Alot Of Room To Work With And He Knocked It Out Of The Park. What Happened With Vol.2 Is The Same Thing That Happened With Thor: Love & Thunder. After Tika Waititi Gave Thor A Fresh Take In Ragnarok He Focused On What Worked There And Didn't Develop A Script Utilizing All The Tools And Talent Around Him.
I remember when the first Avengers film came out and it was like the biggest thing ever. All of those actors and heroes, the story, all of it was amazing. It was a culmination of so much, and it just seemed like it couldn't be topped. All conglomerate hero movies nowadays run because Avengers 1 walked. It was just so awesome, so memorable, and the Avengers seemed unstoppable. If Endgame had come out in 2012, everyone would've shit themselves, but we got conditioned to seeing a bunch of heroes in the same films. Still a great movie obviously, but there's something so down to Earth and special about the first Avengers, and a lot of it was due to it being the first of it's kind for the MCU. Iron Man's armor also looked so good in that film, I wish they had kept that metallic kind of sheen and his augmented voice; the way he looked seemed so much more authentic then the flat and obviously CGI suits he had in later films. Avengers just has a very unique vibe that I love, and yeah, nostalgia plays a big part, but overall it was a very well made film that accomplished it's goal perfectly.
The only things you are wrong on are CA: Captain America, Spidey HC, Black Widow. They all deserved to be higher, I understand that this is your opinion and you are entitled to it, however wrong it may be.❤

Me too. You know, Sean had once said people should try and watch the Incredible Hulk "On It's OWN TERMS", so I've got an Idea: How about people like him watch Thor Love and Thunder "On It's OWN TERMS"?
I've only seen 18 of the 23 movies of the first arch, and I list them like this: Top tier - the ones that I really, really enjoyed and/or think are very well made movies: - Avengers - Winter soldier - Homecoming - Guardians of the galaxy 2 - Avengers Age of ultron Tier 2 - good movies that I enjoyed, but did not strike me as good as the ones in the top tier, and I view them as just another ok superhero movie to have a nice time: - Thor Ragnarok - Far from home - Dr. Strange - Captain America - Iron man - Avengers Endgame - Ant-Man - Civil War The first three actually have strong elements that could put them on a tier of their own, with quality and enjoyability (for me) closer to the ones in the top tier. Civil War kind of deserves a tier of its own because although not exactly a bad movie, to me it's clearly the less entertaining of this tier, and it did not meet expectations (although for some reason, even the trailers made me not expect much of it already). It kinda got better in the last third or so, but not enough. Tier 3 - the ones i did not like: - Captain Marvel - Black Panther - Avengers Infinity Wars - Ant Man and the Wasp - Thor 2 I actually liked a lot Captain Marvel's final third or quarter, but the rest of the movie was really weak, this kinda puts the movie on a tier of its own, haha. Black Panther and Infinity wars were dissapointing, but a notch above the last two, which to me are the absolute worst.
I agree with No Way Home... the writing in the 1st Act was so lazy on why Dr. Strange would do such a thing to help Spiderman without considering the consequence, I actually thought that Dr. Strange was not the real Dr. Strange.
The Second You Put Spiderman FFH In Bottom Tier, My Only Response Was "THANK YOU!" Doesn't Help That Also Mysterio's Plan Has No "ENDGAME", The Glasses Should Have Identified Him, This Movie Rips Off A Tone Of Plot Beats And Other Bits From Sam Raimi's Spiderman 2, Including The Power Issue, But Worse. Peter Parker For No Reason, Is Struggling With His Peter Tingle, And That's The Only Reason This Con Works. But Then Once He Needs It To Work, It Just Convieniently Works Again. ANd While Secret Invasion May Have Been In The Works Before This, It Feels Too Convienient That The Simple Solution Of Nick Fury Being Able To Clear Everything Up Is Undone By A Scroll, And He Can't Even Pose As Furry To Clear Peter, And This Was Supposed To Be A Secret With Furry, But For Some Reason In The Next Film, Some Random Damage Control Agent Knows That Nick Furry Is In Space????????? This Is Why I'm Glad Watts Isn't Working On Hero Movies Anymore, Because Much Like No Way Home, He Cheats In His Story Telling Causing Everything To Just Horribly Fall Apart. Give Me Some Time, And I Can Easily Cause That Movie To Drop Drastically For All Of You. But I Would Have That One In "Enjoyable But Flawed. Yyyyyyyyup. That's My Spot For it. Anyone Curious Why???
Sean, I watched guardians of the galaxy volume 2, and it was a great experience. Both the first and the second time I watched it I didn’t like it as much as the first volume, and thought it was a bad sequel. But now that I’ve watched it for a third time, I has a completely different perception if it. The story, the final plot twist, the characters, the villain, it all comes down perfectly in the end. Please, I beg you, if you do another MCU tier list, you gotta rank this movie s tier, because, though at first may not seem this way, I completely dare to say this is slightly better than the first volume, at least from my point of view. Rewatch it, and tell me your thoughts, you may reconsider, hopefully, ranking this movie at a higher level.

Extremely cool and fun scenes
What do you think Sean?
Sean, I think you should checked by someone, i think your obsession with ant puns has gone too far....

I saw Guardians 3 last night. All I can say is: wow. Is it too early to call it a masterpiece? It was so well made, the characters were developed as well as any MCU film to date and the emotion hit home multiple times. They took such care with it and it goes straight into my top 5.
Nah its not a masterpiece in my opinion, but it is still really good
@@peggytheveteran4968 agreed. a great film, but not a masterpiece

I am so glad you loved GOTG Volume 3 as much as I did, Sean. It's top tier for me too!!!
Shang Chi and GOTG are examples of having unknown characters quickly become fan favorites. Both were huge risks and both were massive hits.
@Mephisto
Shang cgi did not flop and it made money and will get a part 2.
The budget was lower then 200 million.

And in F Tier: Eternals, Thor Love and Thunder
My list is controversial but whatever it’s just my opinion 👍
Why WF in d tier?
What's up with the c tier?
@@ant-man9018 nothing. Just like nothing is in it imo :D
Top 5 MCU.
Rocket face emotion in Vol 3 made me cry when rocket's friend's shot killed... such good VFX and emotion... great superhero movie recently.
Three givens in life:
-The sky is above us.
-Money is a form of currency.
-Sean will criticize Far From Home in an MCU video for having a villain who has scorn for Tony Stark followed by “hit me baby one more time.”
“The sky….”
*dies*
some people would argue your second point could be trending down in the near future
Yeah a lot of the dialogue between Rocket and Yondu pushed Rocket’s arc
I think my biggest hot take is that I love Age of Ultron.
Mine is that I think Thor: Ragnarok belongs in the Bottom Tier (or if I'm feeling generous that day, interchange it with Fun But Flawed. The "Immigrant Song" scenes are one of its very few saving graces with me).
Yes! Ragnarok is cringe
I think they went 0/4 on Thor movies. The first one is the best one which is saying something about how bad they are
same it's so much fun and ultron is a brilliant (albeit flawed) villain
thats ur biggest?? thats not even a hot take, many people love it. My ranking has soooo many hot takes. Example: I like Ant Man 3 and Captain Marvel better than Endgame. In fact, Endgame is mid for me
Top Tier: Guardians 1; Endgame; Winter Soldier; Infinity War; Guardians 3; No Way Home
Great: Avengers; Black Panther; Ragnarok; Guardians 2; Civil War; Dr. Strange; Homecoming; Far From Home
Enjoyable: Age of Ultron; Shang Chi; First Avenger; Iron Man; Captain Marvel; Antman; Wakanda Forever
Fun But Flawed: Love & Thunder; Thor; Multiverse of Madness; Incredible Hulk; Antman & Wasp; Black Widow; Eternals; Quantamania
Bottom Tier: Iron Man 2; Ironman 3; Dark World
I just rewatched Spider-Man: Homecoming and it jumped like two tiers for me… there is the right amount of jokes at the right time, the seriousness seems real, Keaton plays one of the best Villians in the entire series in my opinion
S Tier: Infinity War, Endgame, Iron Man, No Way Home, Civil War, The Winter Soldier
A Tier: Guardians 1, Avengers, Ragnarok, Guardians Volume 3, Homecoming, Black Panther, Iron Man 3
B Tier: Multiverse of Madness, Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man, The First Avenger, Shang-Chi, Ant-Man and the Wasp
C Tier: Age of Ultron, Far From Home, Doctor Strange, Guardians Volume 2, Thor, Quantumania
D Tier: Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Love and Thunder, Black Widow, Captain Marvel, The Dark World, Eternals

Oh it’s perfectly placed for me lol never been here for the past 2 GotG movies, but GotG3 really got me here rooting for them!
I think we can all agree that the best part about any Sean Chandler video where he talks about ant-man are the ant puns.
so thats okay but the jokes in Ragnarok arent? I thought Sean should've stopped after the first film but he just kept going and it was hard to keep track of what he was saying because he would pause mid-word to nail the punchline over conveying his thoughts
I actually love the Incredible Hulk. The end fight is some of the most accurate hulk we've seen and Abomination was great.
Sean, I enjoyed this particular list so much. This was the most fun I've had with rankings/tiers since End Game came out. Great video!

GOTG 3 was the best MCU movie since endgame, it was so emotional, it hurt me, top 5 villain, it is the 2nd mcu movie to make me cry, it is top 7 MCU. I loved it so much more than I thought I would and I already had high expectations, it was incredible.
“Homelander what do you think?” 😂😂

This is how I'd rate each year from worst to best:
14) 2010
13) 2013
12) 2011
11) 2022
10) 2008
9) 2015
8) 2021
7) 2023 (only based on quantumania and guardians 3)
6) 2012
5) 2016
4) 2014
3) 2017
2) 2018
1) 2019

Everyone: something’s wrong I can feel it
Personally there’s a lot about this list I don’t like. I’m surprised to see there aren’t many people in the comments critiquing it…
So I heard somebody leaving the theater last week say that Guardians is the best trilogy of films in the MCU.
Based on this list, I take it you agree with me that Captain America is the best trilogy.
I would put Winter Soldier in top tier which means the deciding factor is Guardians 2 vs The First Avenger
I would love to see an mcu trilogy ranking. I’m sure a lot of others would too. Love your content!

“The Incredible Hulk” is so underrated. I prefer Nortons portrayal over Ruffalos any day.
I can't help, but all guardian films are outstanding, and they are - for me - the best what the Mcu delivers. All 3 got an 10/10. I know that many other don't like the 2. Part. After Guardians 3 I leave the Mcu, no more movies and series for me.
Goodbye as if anyone will give any crap about you anyways !LOL
Heck yeah, completely agree. The Guardians films are my favorite and all I need from the MCU. I feel like they should be a standalone trilogy outside of the MCU..easily 10/10 for all the films 😃
I probably have changed the order a hundred times, but as of right now, including everything Marvel Studios has produced, this is my list, following your tiers, I would divide them in top tier (1-6), great (7-14), enjoyable (15-23), fun but flawed (24-39) and bottom tier (39-44):
1. Avengers: Endgame
2. Avengers: Infinity War
3. Spiderman: No way home
4. Captain America: Civil War
5. Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3
6. Black Panther
7. The Avengers

18. Doctor Strange
19. Moon Knight

43. I am Groot
44. The Incredible Hulk
Im not the biggest Guardians of the Galaxy fan. But damn. The third movie was probably the the best superhero film ive watched in a very long time
Dude , you do the whole MCU a slight disservice by not Putting Winter Soldier on the top tier list. I challenge you to watch that over and if you still put behind by a notch, watch again. lol. The pace and action. Sequences are 2nd to none. The big highway fight with that absolutely killer soundtrack puts it in top tier. Brilliant action, awesome character building along with infinity war my favorite
One of my fav movies top 3-5 easy
THANK YOU!!!....I kw I shouldn't be...but goddammit I'm pissed!!...and yeah we're all different yadayada but fuck it....that's just poor taste
*I will never understand I hate for Guardians Vol. 2. It’s my favorite of the trilogy.*

Its the one trilogy that keeps me interested in Marvel honestly
Vol.3 was phenomenal and based on the post credit scenes, it seems like we’re getting more GOTG!
I know you always kinda been hard on no way home, but I’m glad you still have it the respect of putting it top tier
For me,
Top tier: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Great: Spider-Man: Homecoming, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Black Panther, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Avengers, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Guardians of the Galaxy
Enjoyable: Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor: Love and Thunder, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Doctor Strange
Fun but flawed: Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Eternals, Iron Man 3
Bottom tier: Black Widow, Thor, Iron Man 2, Captain Marvel, The Incredible Hulk, Thor: The Dark World
Far from home was great! Also, they made it clear they had to repeat the Junior year meaning Peter should have been a senior who graduated already. So he was probably an adult. Still weird, but not illegal.

I would swap between TWS and Ironman 1,FFH and Antman and the wasp,GOTG 2 and the first avenger, the two DS movies and its perfect for me
Ok I know this isn’t related to the video, but I just got the weirdest ad ever.
Is it the one about the dude singing about their little furby toy
They all deserved to be higher, I understand that this is your opinion and you are entitled to it, however wrong it may be.❤
Doctor strange 2 was so good idc what anybody says. It was dark and they weren’t scared to do disturbing imagery

I've only seen 18 of the 23 movies of the first arch, and I list them like this:
Top tier - the ones that I really, really enjoyed and/or think are very well made movies:
- Avengers
- Winter soldier
- Homecoming
- Guardians of the galaxy 2
- Avengers Age of ultron
Tier 2 - good movies that I enjoyed, but did not strike me as good as the ones in the top tier, and I view them as just another ok superhero movie to have a nice time:
- Thor Ragnarok
- Far from home
- Dr. Strange
- Captain America
- Iron man
- Avengers Endgame
- Ant-Man
- Civil War
The first three actually have strong elements that could put them on a tier of their own, with quality and enjoyability (for me) closer to the ones in the top tier.
Civil War kind of deserves a tier of its own because although not exactly a bad movie, to me it's clearly the less entertaining of this tier, and it did not meet expectations (although for some reason, even the trailers made me not expect much of it already). It kinda got better in the last third or so, but not enough.
Tier 3 - the ones i did not like:
- Captain Marvel
- Black Panther
- Avengers Infinity Wars
- Ant Man and the Wasp
- Thor 2
I actually liked a lot Captain Marvel's final third or quarter, but the rest of the movie was really weak, this kinda puts the movie on a tier of its own, haha. Black Panther and Infinity wars were dissapointing, but a notch above the last two, which to me are the absolute worst.
Loved the homelander joke 🥂
I agree with No Way Home... the writing in the 1st Act was so lazy on why Dr. Strange would do such a thing to help Spiderman without considering the consequence, I actually thought that Dr. Strange was not the real Dr. Strange.
The Second You Put Spiderman FFH In Bottom Tier, My Only Response Was "THANK YOU!"
Doesn't Help That Also Mysterio's Plan Has No "ENDGAME", The Glasses Should Have Identified Him, This Movie Rips Off A Tone Of Plot Beats And Other Bits From Sam Raimi's Spiderman 2, Including The Power Issue, But Worse.
Peter Parker For No Reason, Is Struggling With His Peter Tingle, And That's The Only Reason This Con Works.
But Then Once He Needs It To Work, It Just Convieniently Works Again.

I think Age of Ultron deserves great tier. I think it's very good.
Big no.
I definitely need to see more Marvel movies. I've missed out on soooo many including all the AntMans.
