Sir, Thank you and Thank Scotty for sharing such an amazing video. As a retired Marine, the words Semper Fidelis (always faithful) constantly ring true as i watch Scottys videos. What an amazing organization and truly inspirations individuals.
Awesome to see Phil's recovery so far. Can't wait to see how much further he is able to push himself again. Looking forward to a Scotty Cranmer R2R episode!
Steve and Peggy here and this is the first time I have ever seen this entire video. As someone that has known the both of you and seen and briefly held that handsome Son of yours watching this old video is very special mostly because I know how well you are doing today.
Thanks for the link Scotty and thank you road 2 recovery. This story is so beautiful, teared up one too many times. So much strength and inspiration, keep at it my friend
ROAD TO RECOVERY 👏👏👏 You guys are awesome and make a huge difference to so many lives. Keep up the great work. This video is amazing........ Yes it brought a 43yr old to tears
You've inspired so many, been following through most of it, you continue to inspire me daily to overcome my own hurdles. Your message to pass that strength to kids makes me want to do the same. Action sports(mtb/bmx/trials/snowboard) ruled my life and still does and it taught me about life, perseverance, hard work, and so much more. Keep it up. And road 2 recovery is the best, thank you for all you do.
This guy is a true inspiration! It was amazing to watch him ride at the national trials event in Ohio after all he has been through!! We even got a chance to talk to him for a few minutes, it was pretty cool
So unbelievably inspirational. No matter the obsticles placed in your way, there will always be a ways to overcome them. 👌🏼 I come from Scottys channel and cant wait to see other stories on here. Extremely well choreographed aswell. Great job
His uncle rebuilt my dads kx80 back in the day. Him and his brother jumped over me and a bunch of other kids on there trials bikes when i turned 10 at adrenaline skate park back when they used to be open. watched him get hurt in the accident. watched as much of the recovery as i could. And then this year i turned 21 and ended up seeing him a week later at a pit bike race, got to battle it out and see that hard will and determination can power threw anything. Aka he passed me on the last lap for 3rd place with a neck brace on 💪🏻 Very very motivating to see him threw out the years. Thankful he is alright now.
A great organization giving a 2nd chance to our idols who pretty much lost everything , but got back up and keep trying Just shows how strong willpower and our body is .
Scotty sent me here. Phil’s story is so amazing, such a roller coaster. I was in true tears. It’s amazing to see him in his recovery and how well he is not only doing now, but how he handled the whole thing. You guys are phenomenal in what you do.
I grew up in lake geneva, I remember having my bike fixed at the Smage farm, I think it was that crazy dude David Jutz, haha, this was a great video, I had no idea this happened, very inspirational, I wish you all the best.

This video is sooo well made! Your story brings me to tears but also inspires me to continue to savor each moment im doing what i love. People like you make our world a better place. Keep up the hard work!
The amount of overshoot on that landing is one of the craziest things I've ever seen in my life. He was going at least 3x the speed he needed to hit that landing, good lord.
Bothers me everytime I see this video or one's like it. I'm very glad when I broke my neck in 3 places in an ATV accident in 2001 it wasn't caught on film, although back then nobody had smartphones or social media accounts.. I was ALOT luckier than most and wasn't paralyzed and didn't die as they all said should have happened in the hospitals trauma center. I lost the use of my right arm as the nerves were severed leaving the spine and across the top of the shoulder. I unfortunately wasn't pro at the time and organizations like this didn't exist yet. I've suffered the consequences ever since as it's affected my health in many ways. "That" day is the day that forever changed our lives. Edit: I broke C5 & C6, one in 1 spot and the other in 2 places.
WOW that was an absolute full send. I'm not sure how your spinal cord ended up getting injured because the force had to go through your gigantic steel balls first.
I have a feeling Scotty might finally show what happened in his accident in his episode. I really hope I’m wrong cause watching this is heartbreaking I don’t wanna see Scottys friends asking him “you alive”
Here from Scotty Cranmer’s channel. What an incredible story this is
Same as dude 👍

8:43 - "Pretty much hurt all of my feelings" Can't say I'd have such a good sense of humour in his situation!
