- Yoshi TRC slip-on welded onto 2009 R6s headers. No honeycomb or cats. Have a PCIII on there now, but when this video was filmed I was running a standard map off the PC. Recently got the bike dyno tuned by Carry Andrews. Obviously not an ideal setup, but I didnt have the money to spend on a full system from Yoshi directly so I did this mod. Bike is LOUD as hell.People tell me they cant hear their music in their own car bumping when I'm riding next to them. Bike sounds AMAZING when cruising at 6k RPM. Extremely deep growl.

I'm digging the clean tail! First thing I did when I bought mines was removing the passenger pegs and installing an integrated tail light so I could toss the rear fender. I can't stand fenders on any sport bike lol. Glad to see someone with the same taste, ride safe man!
Yeah its always easier said than done! lol but that's awesome man i just graduated from highschool and im getting a bike soon and a 07+ Yamaha R6 is in my cross hairs. Gotta love the skinny tail on these things. Looks soo modern and fast. Yours is hella clean man STAY UP!!

That Yoshi sound like a badass. love it. it remind me of back in the days with my GSZR 1000 and my stubby RS55 Yoshi muffler, that thing was fucking loud compared to my little brother 2013 ZX10 with two brother shorty muffler. lol

Ok. Thanks for the answer. Always wondered since I've only tuned my 50-125cc bikes with arrows etc as a kid. For some reason I had and vision that it wouldn't affect the more powerful bikes as much... Nice job w/ the bike btw. U have a bigger sprocket on as well??

did you have to modify the r6s headers at all? i have the same slip on and was thinking of getting a mid pipe but i can get the headers for cheaper! just wondering if it will be more work?

why wouldn't you do it again? lol a full exhaust is the exact same thing...no muffler or cat (honeycomb). you saved money man! and it sounds badass!!!! nice camera btw
Im not a huge fan of yoshi on a yamaha sportbike, I always associated it with suzuki. But thats a nice set up. I can tell you're from California too sportin the chucks and levis. Bike looks clean man. Personally I'd put anything but a yoshimura or toce on my R6 though. Toce is just fuckin ugly.

Yeah full gold looks better. But in this bikes case I prefer these colors over the gold. Just looks cleaner. I have the full gold ones on mine. But mine doesn't have the black rearsets like this bike does. Nor does mine have the black yoshi. Mine has the two brothers silver one. So the full gold works a lot better on mine.
