The history of the Tswana people must be told by the Tshwana people.

@@love-africa- he won't be able to , as there were no borders . People used to discriminate each other but they had shared ancestry , and they continued to have relations and have babies . People still have issues up to now and they date back to hundreds of thousands back . Through genetic testing and lingua similarities that date back 5000 years . The Batswana are related to the gypsy groups in DRC , Cameroon and the Khoi and the San who were the earliest explores . There are groups that came in 3000 years ago and others 300 years ago . For the San occupancy , check Itchy boots exploration of Botswana , and examine the history of the Mapunguboe .

Non Africans never get dates correct about African history because western scholarship never want to believe how old this history is.

How is the traditional African thumb piano a version of a Chinese stringed instrument. This makes no sense at all and it's kind of insulting because it's well known that the thumb piano is of African origins.

People from Botswana are referred to as BATSWANA not TSWANA!

Hi. If you're going to talk about a culture that is not yours, atleast get the pronunciation of names of; people, places and etc right, otherwise it's confusing and a little insulting. Just the mispronunciation alone can throw one off and take away from whatever you're saying. It doesn't sound like you made much effort at all.

Hello thank you for the feedback, really appreciate it, apologies if it has come across this way, this is my first attempt at something like this, but I have taken this on board and will make sure I get the pronounciation correct moving forward.

Yes, well, this happens all the time with people making the best attempts they can to pronounce a language that isn't their first language. I don't find it insulting when English people pronounce Paris as Parisss instead of Paree. Lighten up.

Not true at all. Batswana’s ancestory is related to the Khoi and San people, whose history dates back more than 50 000 in Southern, Eastern and Central Africa. The Bantu migrated to the Southern tip of Africa between 300 and 500 AD. As you may well know, Bantu and Khoi and San people had inter marriages.
