    Thank you so much! I've been having trouble eating any solids lately as my jaw simply clicks each bite. This action of pushing against the jaw and providing resistance has really build the muscle and made my life so much easier!

    Thank you for being one of the minority to actually try to help people without taking all their money. I already seen a specialist and all he was worried about was lining his pocket with my money and making my jaw pain worse. I hope this will help me I will try this because not much as helped me I have had severe jaw pain for 10 years now and I am only 25. I will try anything to help this. I just thank you for at least trying to help those that have this issue like me :)

    I think my tmj began when I began pushing my lower teeth back becuse they were out of alignment and grinding my upper teeth. This shoved my lower jaw backwards and eventually moved the teeth out of the way but now I have clicking and severe tinnitus. Maybe, these exercises will help to restore my jaw and stenghten the muscles. Thanks for posting this video.

    Be sure to check with a dentist trained in functional dentistry. My problems initially were very mild (jaw went out of joint on 1 side occasionally, but no pain) after having braces as a teen, worsened over the years & especially after oral surgeon (unbeknownst to me) dislocated my jaw to remove 3 impacted wisdom teeth; my job was sales (non-stop talking) 30 hrs/wk. It was only after using a splint & corrective orthodontics that finally I was pain free after a horrible 20 years!

    Agreed! I've searched high and low for my TMJ disorder, as it's becoming progressiviely severe, AND my dentist have referred me to 2 different TMJ specialist (which doesn't even cover my medical insurance), which is LITERALLY $200 just to be SEEN only! It's about $400 + (can be $800 or more) for treatment! It's as if TMJ is taken so lightly, which I find sickeneing.

  • @nspoisonivy

    @simon3102000 I think that it is possible because temporomandibular joint is so close to the ear, and your balance center is in your ear actually. So maybe this pressing creates some pressure in the ear too.

  • @osuushiza8

    Yes, I do- there's been a sudden load of cases of ppl suddenly complaining of MS symptoms & even many being diagnosed w/ it (MS isn't only genetic but also caused by environment factors!).
    Thx for the link! :P I have done massages, which actually is too much- it's tender to touch. Same for the packs- the cold hurts it, but the heat feels good... some other methods, that very few work & w/ very lil notice. The reason: I not only have TMJ, but my entire facial cartilage is decaying. IDK why. :|

    That's crazy. I just did this after having pain in my jaw for the past 3 days whenever I would chew or open too wide. I tried this just now and it helped a lot. There is still pain, but I'm sure after a few days of doing this it'll disappear.

  • @WingThaiJ
    @WingThaiJ 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Increased masticating muscle tension has been linked with TMJ problems. You're staying to strengthen it, meanwhile docs are using Botox to inactive the muscle to take tension off. It would seem strengthening them will increased tension and cause more problems

    Does this work to unlock my jaw as well? I've had it locked for about 4 months now, and all my symptoms add up to tmj.
    Thanks for sharing this video!

    @osuushiza8 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Worse. I haven't figured anythong out at all except that I need to see a TMJ specialist, that no one has still not sent me to yet, which has been over a year...
    My esophogus spasms now, w/ access saliva that comes out & tries to choke me, I'm constantly dizzy to the point of nausea- like serious vertigo, I get sharp, electric voltage shocks in my ears & skull, I get more head colds than usual now, I have lymph nodes that never go down, but swell way up when I do get colds- do you get these too?

  • @GamerOfSkills

    I will follow your instruction as a prophylactic treatment for my early symptoms of TMJ. Are you insured should I sustain any permanent damage from your recommendations? ;-o

  • @osuushiza8
    @osuushiza8 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thx- the same for you! I fear I may have MS as I've never been tested for it, but I have almost all the symptoms of it. There's definitely a pandemic/epidemic of that going around, but ppl don't know why they're getting it (those who don't know about the foods & trails).
    I know a person I've known for around 10 years who's always been healthy & had only one major health issue her whole life- nothing to do w/ MS- she was diagnosed w/ MS last month. .___.

    My jaw locks the most when I sleep on the left side of my face. But when I wake up and wiggle it around one or two times it pops right back in with a pretty big noise. Is it bad?

  • @osuushiza8
    @osuushiza8 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think this is why I'm also having neurological disturbances- pretty dramatic ones too. It's get to the point I get bedridden for weeks & can't drive for lengths at a time...
    About foods, even though all is pretty much tainted, I till plan to go vegan/vegetarian. :P It may help- IDK. But I've been getting burnt out on meats- esp. most dairy products! q:
    Do you have different eating plans?
    Yes I have- I also don't brush as often now b/c of it, but still try to keep clean. Baking soda helps too

    When I open my mouth, my jaw makes the clicking sound. This happens only when I open my mouth. Sometimes when I close my mouth, I can hear this very faint slipping noise, which I guess means that my jaw moved back to its original position before I opened my mouth. But most of the time, there is no slipping noise.
    I can open up to 3 fingers wide (middle, ring, and pinky fingers), no wider.
    Is my situation a sign of TMJ? I'm only 16 years old, and I have somewhat crooked and crowded teeth. Wh

    SO its started off for the past 6 months with just loud clicking when my mouth is opened half way, then started sticking closed at that half way mark on and off where it use to just click. And now I can't even get two finger width in my mouth now for over a week as its stayed locked. will this exercise help me as well ? I've tried all sorts of things that didnt help.
    Thanks much for your time.

    I'm noticing that rapidly, more & more ppl are getting this TMJ stuff, it seems "suddenly"- it makes me wonder if the chemtrails have anything to do w/ it.... IDK if you know what chemtrails are, but they do have an effect on many, if not all ppl's health in some form at the least.

    Anyone ELSE reach to the point of eating only 1-2 meals a day, chronic insomnia AND fatigue, jaw shifting to one side, ear "stuffiness" or "fullness", ear ringing, ear pain, face & head pressure, dizziness, neck & shoulder stiffness a& pain, some headaches, tightness of the throat (like hands wrapping around it), sharp pain behind the eye(s), sharp pain when yawning, loss of balance, numb/warm hands, & difficulty swallowing- even your own saliva- like a ctahing and near choking feeling?

    @osuushiza8 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    OK, I'm taking if I got 15 likes on my last post, & ppl are getting these OTHER symptoms, which over time, I'm finding out not ALL comes from TMJ, I fear may be an ENT issues, a spine issue, a heart issue, a stomach issue, &/or neurological issue. Mine, by far is a neurological & spinal issue along with TMJ. For those who DID get all these checked, still, things turn out fine, it could also be a rhumetoid issue.
