Linux No Sound - Dummy Output - Quick Fix. This worked for me, maybe it will work for you too!

  • You just installed Linux on your device and you have no sound. The sound settings only list Dummy Output as the Output Device. There may be tech / software solutions available, still is there a simple solution? It was only luck that I stumbled on this solution. It worked for me, maybe it will work for you.

    Thanks for the tutorial, man. But what if my speaker used a wired connection instead of Bluetooth?

      Hi, Bluetooth worked for me. Wired connection? Not sure about that, try wired 3.5mm vs. USB wired. Hope you get sound.
