    Thanks so much. As simple as it might seem, it's very helpful! Especially explaining why it might not be working for all Wi-Fi dongles.

    When I left click the internet button I don't have the option for wifi. I go to the driver manager and the driver manager says all drivers are up to date.

    You've failed to address the problem. Wi-Fi is not working because of driver issues, not because we didn't click on an available Wi-Fi.

    Do Qualcomm Atheros 956x and Broadcom BCM94313HMG2L Wi-Fi adapters work with Linux Mint?

    • @PulsarTECH
      @PulsarTECH  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hi, generally, Atheros Wi-Fi adapters are well-supported in Linux, and many users have reported success using them with Linux distributions, including Linux Mint. However, some users may experience issues with specific kernel versions or driver compatibility. In most cases, the Atheros 956x should work out of the box or with minimal configuration on Linux Mint.
      Broadcom Wi-Fi adapters have historically had mixed compatibility with Linux due to proprietary drivers. However, many Broadcom adapters are supported by the Broadcom STA driver (bcmwl-kernel-source), which can be installed from the official repositories in Linux Mint.

    Using correct driver... no wireless networks seen... 10ft from antenna. First time Mint has failed for me.
    Time to move on to something else.

    hi, my wifi has 50% signal strength and its not even conenting as it was on windows from the same place. When i'm near the router its working perfectly fine, but i cant conect from other places. What is the preblem?

    • @PulsarTECH
      @PulsarTECH  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's strange. It connects well when close to the router, but struggles from a short distance away? If you're able to connect near the router, there's not much you can do since you already have a connection established. The only suggestion would be to place the router closer to your computer to improve signal strength.

    I have a question: In my German language, some of the menus were still in English. Is it because I installed it offline?

    • @PulsarTECH
      @PulsarTECH  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, if you installed Linux Mint offline, it's possible that some language packs were not fully downloaded or installed during the installation process. This could result in certain menus or system messages remaining in English. Ensure that your system is connected to the internet and try updating the language packs using the package manager or system update tool. Check the language settings in the system preferences or control panel and make sure that German is selected as the default language for the entire system. Hope it will help!
