    Thank you for this! I’m allergic to corn and so many versions of this use corn syrup. But my mom used honey too.

    just tried this today and it turned out soso good!!! the honey taste really stands out and the texture is amazing! its so quick and easy and id definitely recommend anyone to do this

    This is the simple pure ingredients I've sought to make honeycomb. Other recipes I've seen uses corn syrup, which I'm not crazy about. I'm going to make this as soon as weather cool down. It's 100°F at 10 p.m. Consider me a new subscriber. Tfs.

    Finally, I was able to make honey comb .. thank you for the recipe..the only thing I have done differently is use a candy thermometer which helped me with determining the temperature at which to switch off the hob and add the baking soda...

    This is so good I'm only 13 and it was so easy to make but I have a question how long does it last?

      It is sugar, so it will last for a long time if stored properly in an airtight container. At least 2 months ...that is if you don't eat it up by then :)

    Can it be poured in a glass pan? Can regular granulated sugar be used instead of fine sugar.

      I'm not sure about the glass pan... check the manual please. Yes, you can use granulated sugar.

      That's because of humidity. Try keeping it in the fridge or a/c room (before storing in an airtight box).

      baking powder is acidic and baking soda is basic, so you cant use it as a replacement

    I made the honey comb but it ended up Sticky and it didn’t set it’s chewy aswell

      @@nazemamemon0786 Put it in your fridge, it probably hasnt set and has become sticky due to high humidity in the place you live

    This works really well but corn syrup is pretty easy to make with some sugar and some other ingredients

    Something went wrong ma'!m, i have tried this and result was wonderfull, then after one night it alll melted and honey went out of the honeycomb? What do you think was the reason?

      @IdolixWorldWide there was no water at all, do you think normal humidity in the air could be a reason? If so, it supposed to be preserved in the fridge only!!

      Humidity. It's best to be kept out of the fridge and in a place wit low humidity. And to be honest it's best eaten in day 1

      Hers was not the best version to use. Initially at the start when it's on the hotplate shouldn't be stiring and adding the water before the sugar

      That is because of humidity. Store in an airtight jar.

      Then the sugar will crystallize and you dont want that.

    I've now tried this recipe almost 10 times, and every time either the mixture does not reach 150 degrees Celsius, and doesn't hold it's shape after foaming up, or the honeycomb ends up really bitter..

      Keep the heat low and be patient... you will get it right 👍🏻
