What a Beauty! I bought the exact same bike back in 92. Absolutely loved it. Matching helmet was a must with a paint job like that. The police pulled me over the day I picked it up.. about 10km into my ride home. He checked me for insurance then admitted he only pulled me over to get a good look at the bike.. Toronto Cops for ya.. That was the one and only time I actually stopped for the Cops. They didn’t even try to pull me over on many occasions when I blew past them on the Highways. It was a Great Bike and I had lots of fun on it. I have to Admit that 5 years later when I bought a CBR 600 my love for the GSX-R was Challenged. The CBR didn’t have the Top Speed of the GSX-R but it was more fun to ride in my opinion. Being a much lighter bike it cornered so much better and it was always a job keeping the front tire on the road! Didn’t have to work so hard riding the CBR…. But the GSX-R was definitely the one that got my heart racing just as much as the Tach rising!! Loved it. Wish I could find another here in Canada.. Cheers & Thanks for sharing!
Ah, the summer of 1992. I bought a brand new one, same colour, loved it. Crashed it and wrote it off mind, but I got a new one from the insurance in Grey/Black/Blue...give me a time machine!
Yeah revved it's tits off.......he didn't do anything wrong. I had a vfr750 with 55k on the clock was fired up and ridden off at normal pace without idling it. It's not some RC166 or something in the 60s
Such a wonderful paint job, wish manufacturers would be bold like this again.
Pure late 80s start 90s colors. But agree the colors makes this cool
