Almost 20K miles on my 25 Year. It does everything I’ve asked of it , from Autocross, to track days, to thousand mile road trips and Costco runs and car shows. It’s a Swiss Army knife of a car.
The 718 GTS 4.0 is amazing. The Boxster 25 has some cosmetic bits if you like them. But these cars are all about the driving experience no matter the color combination.
"...is a more stylish GTS 4.0" if the 25 year pack is to your taste, great! For everyone else, order a standard 4.0 GTS as it has way more options to customise the car to whatever the owner wants.
Great review and glad you enjoyed as much as I do. Own #248 in jet black but with bordeaux red interior. I’m all about the neodyne accents and rims as it pays homage to the concept and it’s unlike all other 718’s which is kind of the point. The short throw manual is also only available on the 25 (spyder and GT4) and not the GTS and makes a lovely difference. Agree, this makes more sense to not daily, garage kept and should hold value in the coming years as Boxster goes all electric in 2024. Keep the reviews coming!
I drive an ‘87 sonderwerks Carrera for 25+yrs, never owned a Boxster but anytime I jump behind the wheel I’m smiling for the most part. Everything Ferry meant a Porsche to be.
"What a Car"! I think it would be a tough choice choosing between this car or a 718 Spyder, both used are around the same price point but I'd go with the Spyder, just a little more special, plus this car's rarity would keep it in the garage more often.
Is the Road Trip Rating an 8.25 or a 9.0? Either way its a sweet car to take a road trip in!! The Short Shift adds to the Fun Factor over a GTS 4.0. Another great review - Thanks so much!
What you are hearing with the exhaust button pressed is actually intake sound being allowed into the cabin - it's not actually making the exhaust louder.
had the original boxster looked closer to the concept I think the purists wouldn't have dragged their feet as much to accept them as a legitimate porsche. love the wheels on both the concept and the boxster 25.
enjoyable review, just a heads up, sport plus does not make the throttle more sensitive than sport, sport is actually the most sensitive throttle setting
I am unsure why you are taking these scores out to the hundredths of a point. I am curious how you arrived at that specific number. I do not want to sound like your 10th grade math teacher, but you will need to start showing your work. I stop watching when you get to this part. simplify and make it meaningful.

Well you have only one option. You cant order a Boxster 25 anymore..

Gota love the short shifters!

Great review. Where are these beautiful roads ?
Thanks! This one was near Hendersonville, North Carolina.
The driver is wonderfully knowledgeable and quite handsome.
We agree!

Glad they left out the IMS bearing in the anniversary edition
Beautiful countryside
Road Trip = 9.0. Please correct 😢
The gold is ugly, let’s face it.
Not for me….gold wheels does not compliment that car.
Meh, no thank you.
Those wheels are so ugly, normal gts much better
I like them. too bad they cost a fortune, looking for a 5 spoke set for my 987.2 cayman.
schönes auto, das hätte ich gern zu weihnachten und was kleingeld
Boxsters should be top less
This headline makes NO SENSE.
Can you just be nice and enjoy the video?
@@dnice362 No.
I didn't watch it because the title is nonsense.
And I don't see anything nice about you. You're trying to provoke me.
@@unclewilbur8976 bless you.
@unclewilbur8976 what doesn't make sense about it?
You must not know the Porche history of the 718.
