Well technically it's because of the Korean media and that one girly who falsely accused her. All in all,the Korean media was quick to cover the news of her "alleged" bullying and when that was proven wrong, no major media outlet covered that story. So yeah, it's all just shitty.

Scoups also called out one (pretty sure it was this year)... What I'm more worried about is the fact that this sasaeng call thing didn't happen to them back when they were under pledis only. But the incident started to happen more after they got into Hybe and when they got even more famous... The staffs are probably leaking ther personal info 😭

No.. I have korean friends and worked with korean employees... Most in our group chats, they talked about Soojin's album. They actually like Soojin comeback debut. A number of them. I bet they are not the only Korean fans who like to see her promote in Korea.
Kookielit is dividing Korean and international fans since day 1. Soojin obviously still has fans in Korea, people are still writing under TH-cam fan videos and attending her fan meetings. It's probably young adults and teens harassing her on social media, not her fans.

I believe that Soojin halting all domestic promotion is apart of their strategy, rather than her being banned or anything like that.
Ever since she opened her instagram it’s been the international fans showing her the most love & support, while most knetizens have been neutral at best, and downright hateful at worst (in my observations). It’s probably best for her career and mental health to focus on the fans who are welcoming her back with open arms, then once she gets a solid foundation she can start to promote normally in Korea.

soojin is not banned in korea and it’s so misleading to put that in the title. she is just focusing on overseas promotions and activities rather than domestic promotions. i think this is the best decision considering people in korea are still uncertain about her and her case. her mental health and overall well-being should be prioritized which is probably why she isn’t promoting on music shows.

Hi guys, neverland here - and im here to report some missing info on this video. Soojin as of right now has no plans to promote domestically! It is not because she's blacklisted, i think its more to focus on her fans and build up a solid fan base. All her songs have been approved by the KBS broadcasting standards - meaning she could preform if she chose too! Many people have mentioned as the reason as to why she's not preforming is simply because there is not enough space/slots for her to preform on the music shows! Many solo artists (especially those from smaller companies) have a hard time getting a position on big broadcasting shows, especially since it cost a lot of money. Nobody knows yet if she is truly blacklisted from performing, but she has worked with studio choom, which is under mnet - so as of right now its looking good for her. And do not worry about knetz, the reception for her debut has been pretty 50/50 but leaning more on the neutral and positive side! so there is hope neverlands!

@@chayazeff1995I’m not a Jungkook bias but after I saw the apology even I watched the performance and there was nothing wrong with it. He sings live in all his performances which I barely see idols do especially with such a hard song and the cold weather.
He did great but still apologised whereas there are other idols who don’t even bother acknowledging there mistakes, even when fans are paying to see there concerts where they put no effort in whatsoever.

WB was mistakenly dealing with the Givers instead of Attrakt, and the whole thing blew up when they called Attrakt to discuss the deal. This is the famous 'You haven't heard of this?' call that Attrakt released and the origin of the 'poaching' allegations. Warners issued a statement saying that they were just the distributor and they weren't poaching anybody, and then smartly went silent. Cupid was a hit in the US, not so much in Korea, and US fans and industry are completely on the side of the members in their dispute with Attrakt. So, yeah WB is still interested in signing the members. American companies do not comment on pending litigation, so you won't hear anything until everything is settled with Attrakt.

5:00 up to six figures is inaccurate. Let’s say for instance they were paid out at the lowest end and highest end of “tens of millions of won”. The low end is 10 million won and the highest end is 99,999,999 million won. That means ~$7500 USD on the low end and ~$75000 on the highest end. I would imagine that payout is somewhere in the lower tens of millions of won since everybody else credited on the song gets paid before the performers.
Still, it’s great that she’s being paid but the other members deserve their cut since that money was made prior to their contracts being terminated. They also deserve residuals. It shouldn’t matter that the public doesn’t side with them, they earned that money as a group and should be fairly compensated.
How frustrating for the Fifty Fifty ladies. Lawsuit or not, they have done the work, they should be paid for it.

@@Everythingz127 respectfully, I’m nobody’s babe. Contracts cover things like how one should be compensated for completed work. Even if there is a dispute over some parts of a contract, things like being paid for work performed under the contractual stipulations should not be affected. There was also mention here that streaming payments come several months after being earned, but Fifty Fifty have been working under their contract for a few years now. It’s wild they haven’t been paid, & it’s even more wild that a lawsuit could affect that historical payment.
I don’t know, maybe that’s my “citizenship in a place where employment law isn’t one of the circles of hell” showing or something.
I feel awful for Hoshi and Seventeen and just literally any group or member that has dealt with these sasaeng stalkers. They definitely NEED to take action against them or this will keep happening and they will never learn, even if they are only kids. They need to be educated and taught that this behavior is wrong and not okay and is will never be acceptable.
Also, Soojin’s comeback as a solo artist is something I think MOST of us have been waiting for! She looks as beautiful as ever and I absolutely love her song and the styling in the MV is so stunning! Hoshi has never hesitated to protect himself or his members from saesangs. Honestly all the members are so sweet they seriously do not deserve this. Hoshi is pretty brave, and I know he can take care of himself very well, but I'm still worried, not just for him but for all 13 of our boys.

You know how a lot of us were getting on the new girl for sounding extremely robotic and very monotonous when she spoke, and how we kept asking the other girl to come back? I don't think she did. If anyone remembers the other girl's voice, she had a very soft, sensitive side to her voice that made her seem empathetic to whatever she was talking about. Now she doesn't sound like that at all..
