Hey Jon, I wanted to let you know that this afternoon I decided to look for the grease fittings and I am of the opinion that the fittings on my 110 had never been greased because their was no residual signs of old grease that I could see. The only fitting that I did not grease was the one on the steering box casing.
I had to literally put the grease hose coupler on the grease fittings and forcefully pump the handle until the pressurized grease finally went into the fitting and until the grease started oozing out. Also I greased the underneath grease fitting and the steering felt so much better than before. The Variator is also working so much better than before in which I also sprayed Lucas Penetrating Oil on the Variator shaft underneath the hood and I am with the results. Thanks Again for your video, Jon.

Jon. Thanks so much for your video on the grease points underneath the tractor. I didn’t realize that there were that many.grease fittings unlike the “Plastic Tractors” that are sold nowadays.
Being that I will probably change my engine oil within the next few days, I think that I will also empty out what little gasoline that is in the tank and tip the tractor over to the side where I can see everything much better.
For quite some time now, I prefer to use the Lucas Red-N-Tacky grease on all of my mowing equipment and my vehicles with good results. A few days ago I noticed that my shifter seems like it could probably use some sort of spray lube because I soaped the tractor up pretty heavily with SuperClean when I cleaned it up after I bought the tractor and I am sure that some of the soap may have washed any residual lubricant around the shifter away.
The Kohler Magnum engine has never failed to start except when I forget to check the gas tank - That’s On Me. We have been getting storms with fairly heavy downpours today here in Central Ky.
