    I've been waiting for months for this juicer to come out ... totally going to get it in the new year. It's compact design makes complete sense to me.

    I bought this one and got it last Monday. They fixed the bezel, it's glued in there really well. They also fixed the drawer in the back, its in there good and sturdy! This is the first masticating juicer I've owned and was excited that it got released during my research phase of getting ready to buy one!

    Good video. We need a juice off between the new cube juicer and the NC8000. Please make it happen John. I noticed the cube juicer is 200 watts, versus 150 watts for the NC8000.

    Adding the adjustment nozzle would have prevented items from falling too short.

    John: would you please read the instructions and reply about the nozzle for processing foods in the juice cube? The need for 2x4 to process foods with the juice cube is kind of a deal breaker. What does the nozzle that you put on at the end do? Besides extend the opening for pulp, etc?
    Since the juice cube isn't available yet for purchase on the Omega juicer site, there's nowhere to look for the instruction manual document. Thanks for your review. Hope to get a reply so I can assess whether the juice cube might be the juicer for me. I would like to juice a mix of fruits and vegetables and also make fruit sorbets as well as process(grind down) other foods like fresh onions, potatoes, etc.

      I did look in the manual after I used a nozzle to make the fruit sorbet that I show in this episode. There are a total of 6 nozzles, each of which can be used for different tasks (4 of them are for extruding pasta shapes) and 2 can be used for breadsticks/nut butters/ salas, etc. Omega does not mention putting on the outlet adjusting knob on the end after putting on an attachment, which I would recommend as I had learned in this episode. Its an easy fix for something that was overlooked. It will grind down onions, potatoes and other vegetables without problem.
      We have the Omega Juice Cube available for sale on our site at:

    Alright John, if I had a newborn, I'd straight tell him to buy this thing haha! :)) Ok and on a serious note, I think the added stainless steel filter may be contributing to the large amount of foam - I don't know the other machines with the plastique one, but I could imagine that the plastique ones are thicker and/or round on the edges of the holes and that could lead to that outcome (I've produced the tools to make such plastique products for 10 years :)). Besides that, maybe you can give some advice....I'm looking for a juicer, will make mostly juices with around 20% fruit, 20% hard veggies and 60% greens like spinach and kale with some herbs and grass (% = weight), I also want to make dips with lentils, and salsa. Already watched a ton of your videos and I guess a horizontal machine would be best since I want something that is fast overall with decent yield and little need to precut - but would a solostar 4 or an omega NC800 or 8006 (8226) be best? Thanks man, keep it up, love your vids!

      I personally would go for the omega nc800 for processing those foods and the high volume of greens.

    1/2 pineapple in the blender.
    juice the vegetables. take the pulp and liquify that with the pineapple in blender.
    then mix in juice
    get the entire plant product down the gullet. 55-60oz per day. could not live without all that fiber!

    Hi John, i'm really love all your reviews and details are really helpful... could you give me some comments about its enduring if comparing with VSJ843 ? because i'm not a usa resident, i'm really need your review to choose before my friend will out of us & buy for me in this November ...i'm really confuse cuz my country don't have Omega services center :( it's mean i cannot fix it in trouble or 15 years warranty is useless in here :(( thank you so much event you can help me or not !!! Wish you have a great weekend

      Not sure how to compare the durability, as I have only had it for a few weeks, and I do not know how it will hold up. If you are concerned, go with one of the legacy horizontal single augers from Omega such as the Omega NC800. They are more time tested. and be sure to get an extra screen just incase. The VSJ843 holds up well also. I have not broken a screen with it yet.

      I'm really interested with this cube design and its features, i see this review many times to make sure before buying it ! I love juices and sorbet, I haven't tried leaf juice yet because my old broken one cannot juice leaf. I'm intended to buy vsj from your interested reviews until i saw this one, and I realized cubes' sorbet function is more impressive and easier to get out the product than vsj... My need in jucer is using for carott apple berry citrus and sorbets, may i choose vsj instead this cube ? The confusion in here is the cube is too new and noone used could review it for me beside you ! Thanks so much John... love your great reviews and your nice reply :)

      Each the cube and vsj843 has their own set of pros and cons. Both will do sorbet. The cube is better if you will juice more leafy greens than fruits. I personally like the VSJ843 more. Stay tuned for a cube vs vsj843 video that I have on my "to do" list for a more complete answer.

    John could you tell me if it may be a good idea to juice raw elderberries, then boil the juice. Another thing heard that garlic and honey together is great for health juice 3 cloves and add 1 cup of honey

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      do the fresh elderberries have hard seeds? I haven't juiced them before. I personally would not boil the juice after making it, you will lose some of the valuable phytonutrients in the juice. I would rather freeze it and thaw it out when I needed to drink it.

    john I never hear you talk about vegetables like celery. would that fit into the category of fruits because of their high water content? it's not a leafy green and it's also not as hard as a carrot! so which category does it fall into? please don't forget this very important vegetable. thank you for your time

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would classify celery similar to Carrots when juicing with a slow juicer, they help push other softer items (leafy greens and fruits) thru the machine.

    Seriously, people. Don't buy your juicer from these corrupt corporations. Buy it from a person who is passionate and honorable. We need to support each other and a better world where people get their bread and butter $$$ from the things that uplift other people's health and wellbeing and that are their genuine passion in life.
