I got divorced that year - the military has a tendency of doing that to families. Lots of separations. But, in 1977 my wonderful Son was 15 years old. A really good young man. He finished HS, and he finished College, and he also retired from the Air Force with 24 years of service. He's now a Grandfather. Wow. All of that said, I loved Player and this song.
