You say you feel like a dork getting emotional over songs like this... My dear girl, so many of the people who are watching you react to this were deeply in love with someone while this played on the radio everyday. It is, in essence, part of the soundtrack of our lives. Those memories no longer live in our minds...they are deeply, indelibly, inscribed in our hearts. You do not need to be embarrassed because you feel what the song meant you to feel. I assure you, we understand. Your reaction was lovely, and appreciated. Subscribed. ❤❤

The Bee Gees are the second most sucessful band ever after the Beatles and amazingly beautiful heartgripping songs like this are the reason why. Even now 46 years later, I think this came out 78, it's still untouchable as a love song that unleashes every emotion, and the tears? That is when you know you cant resist, you must succumb, even moreso if it relates to someone special. Close second is Run To You by Whitney and Still the One by Shania.

Most of the best-selling groups ever are British - including the BeeGees and Queen. You have good taste!

They only lived in Australia for 9 years. Barry was nearly 12 when he left England with his family as £10 poms. They never lost their English accents. Brits.

With all the love, the life, the joy, that just bursts from you, these songs were written for and about you. Thank you for helping us live them. Or in my case to re live it.

Pleases me to see these songs being heard by the younger generations. So much great music from that time, which doesn't seem so long ago to people like me.

I have read others comments here and agree with the folks like myself that at age 63 this song comes on and I am transported to my past as is the case with all of the music from my life's soundtrack as it were.
Music meant more to us amd was a bigger part of our daily routine.
No internet then only radio waves so we had the radio and I was a music geek when I was 5 years I had a transistor radio then a few different AM/FM portables and even one of the very first AM/FM headphone radio sets as O went throughschool, I was pretty popular when I had those, funny thing.
Music spoke more to us and showed us emotions or feelings we didn't know we had, like the first time hearing, Big Band music, Elvis, Free Bird, Stairway to Heaven, Karen Carpenter, James Taylor, Aretha, Tina, Satchmo, Dean, Frank,, Sammy,, the list is ridiculously long but we were the first for so much AWESOME MUSIC and it will never be done again.
This is what I truly consider to be God given talent, angels in heaven want to sing like the BeeGees.
