169 - The Sim is switching rooms !

Pretty much as the title would suggest the simulator needs to be moved from one room into another. As such I need to completely dis-assemble it and re-assemble it in the next room to make way for some re-shuffling....
This is going to be a pain in the proverbial...............

Could have been a 13900K as this is a reasonable uplift from the 12900K, however with the release of the 14900K at not much price difference thought why not, although I do realise the performance differential between a 13900K and 14900K isnt that much at all, but is when upgrading from 12900K. The 12900K will be retained for another PC I am building for another reason........
@@CessSim That's cool. Can you use the same AIO cooler from your 12900k setup ? Or is the TDP even higher still?

I have a 3090ti as well, I am interested in the difference with the 4090, maybe a quick swap before yoou break down 🙂

@@CessSimIt’s food for thought but. Imagine how good it would be, combined with your buttkicker. Also in time get rid of the TVs and add some pass through VR and it will truely be, as the old Microsoft catchphrase used to say “as good as it gets”.

@CessSim no worries. It was wishful thinking on my part. I was surprised that you would be trying to do that. Your sim is not going to be lightweight by any means.
For "other reasons"...yeah like the 22 yr old Swedish boarder that you have graciously accommodated...we now know your priorities...
