Wow... this has got to be the saltiest review I've ever seen. 1. You say they're copying more expensive designs and show just two (poor) examples which have more differences than similarities, when it is pretty much accepted among the community that Zeppelin has a unique clean aesthetic of their own, for most of their models. 2. You say they have 3rd party movement as if that's a bad thing. It can be a bad thing if (a) a company does not disclose their movement and (b) the quality of the movement is bad for the price. Both of these don't apply here. They disclose the movement in the model description, and in many cases it's a reliable Swiss or Japanese movement that even other luxury brands use. Pretty much every user, including the redittor you quote, has testified that their movement is accurate. 3. You have suspicions that since it's discounted it might be inferior, but then you discover for yourself that it's present in the catalogue of a reputable retailer. Still it doesn't change your mind. 4. Like you've mentioned in a comment below, you don't consider fashion watches to be watches. Good. Now, as a reviewer, your job is to guide people. Almost everyone knows about Casio, Seiko and Citizen that you mentioned. Zeppelin is not that famous. Your job is to discover if it's just a fashion watch or a "real" one. Anyone watching your video would think that you consider it an overpriced Chinese watch. I'm amazed that even though you have most of the right facts, you reach at such wrong conclusions. But you are entitled to your opinion, as you say. I hope my comment helps someone who is confused by your video.
Thank you for spending time on writing such a detailed comment and many people would agree with you. As I have mentioned in this video these are my personal opinions (opinions are given, it’s up to the individual to make a decision) . And I am going through the journey of guiding people on which watches to buy, unlike most TH-camrs who play it safe by only concentrating on a specific brand or well known brands. This video actually changed my opinion on Zeppelin. In the future I might even review a Zeppelin. I laid over the facts which I got through extensive research, so I mean not to hurt any Zeppelin users feelings.
I’m thinking I might get a Zeppelin. Whether it’s a quartz or automatic. In my opinion, they are nice and more unique and not common as other German and Swiss watches. Plus their distinguishing looks and dials look really cool. I wouldn’t mind buying at retail as long as I like the watch and am happy with it. And always buy what you like to enjoy!
I got a Zeppelin Atlantic Automatic with a blue dial about four years ago. It comes with an ETA 2824-2 and the accuracy is great, +3 to +5 sec per day on average. I love the design and it regularly gets me compliments. I paid 275$ for it brand new. In my opinion it represents excellent value. The only thing that could be improved is the strap, which is not that good. I wear it every other week and can definitely recommend them, if you like the design.
I disagree with your bro.... Im using my Zeppelin watch and it was my first automatic watch.... Trust me...its so accurate and their designs (aviation + vintage retro) looks ...
@@nishantsvision007 only deficit is the leather strap is not so good ... My Tissot classic leather weather down within 1 years of continuous wearing....but of zeppelin 100 years zahre, it weather down within 4 month of wearing... So we should buy another strap in advance... And another is the sapphire glass will have a scratch easily... So we should use glass protection plastic cover .... I didn't use for omega swatch mission to moon and now it has scratches like hell .....
Bro you don’t know anything if think 20 k watch they have low quality seagull Chinese movement these are the brands like Armani exchange , fossil lot of brand they do it and zeppelin use Miyota or Swiss which are anyways very good if not the best. many of the zeppelin watch movements only cost over 10k . Don’t review if you don’t now properly. You say personal do the research. By the you know bauhaus 😂
Bro I did a lot of research and after that made this video, I don’t know what movement Armani, Tommy and other fashion brands use but they aren’t real watches for me. But Fossil uses their in house STP movement. I did not tell you not to buy Zepplin watches I gave you an option you would know if you saw the video till the end. Even manufactures like Casio and Seiko also make their watches in China, Vietnam and Thailand but they use their own components and movements. My question is if Zepplin is a 100 year old brand then why are they still depending on mediocre movements ? And charging you more money ? In my point of view, Orient, Baltic and even Alba is better you get value for the price.
@@nishantsvision007 fossil is not making any of there movement first of all , other you know miyota as a brand? its is subsidiary brand from citizen which make world class movement and reliable which is Japanese manufactured not anywhere in the world and if you talk about quartz movement it’s is just cheap machine wheather you buy seiko, tissot or anything if you are buying expensive watch considering a automatic movement is only good option with only premium movement like Swiss or miyota premium movement 9035 and above . Do you recommend Hamilton watches? I was trying to decide between a Zeppelin or Hamilton. I am getting bored of Omega 🤣 I know it’s probably better than both the Hamilton and Zeppelin. Watches can be addicting!!!
I have a Zeppelin Moonphase. Got it for a reasonable discount from Ethos. It has been around 3 years now and it has served me very well. Zeppelin is the type of aircraft that is on the logo. While I respect your views, I really love my watch.

I agree with your thoughts, What I mean to say is that these watches are not made in Germany and are made multinational. And as far as I read from Reddit many people complain about it. If I had a watch in hand my thought might have differed.
I’ve known only the Seiko Presage which is way expensive, The orient Bambino has good reviews but I haven’t know anyone using or selling it in India (I can’t give my 100% assurance that it’s good). It used to part of Seiko but its now Independent.

I took to Ethos India Bangalore, the technician (very learned) informed battery is to be installed in an aligned way and has damaged the coil. Please send me the link of a well known watch reviewer reviewing a Zepplin. I might change my thoughts and I agree that I made this video using internet comments.
You've confirmed my suspicions regarding quality. the Myota movement is so junky and noisy. it works but for the quality most Zepplins are $100.00 US over priced. A much better quality and equal good looks can be had, for instance, by Orient Bambino's etc. for $100.00 less with far superior quality and accuracy. If you have ever heard and felt the Zeppelin "rattle" you know exactly what I mean.
I love it when you say automatic 😅😅😅. Stop trolling. Miyota 9015 movement plus nice design. What is mediocre ? It just works, of course you can get a seiko, or even a tissot. But as watch collectors Zeppelin is a good entry that have nice design ang recognized movement.
I wouldn't mind buying a watch that was planned, accordinated and assembled in Germany from "quality" out sourced parts, any outsource parts but China. German movement costs an arm and a leg. There needs to be some quality control here, a new watch international standard needs to be implemented such that which exact parts are made and produced from should be stated in a watch certificate.
