- mate this is such a moreish dessert. you have got to give it a crack. recipe written below.
pre heat oven 180 degrees C
20 cm round spring form tin with paper
put on a baking tray
1. saucepan
180 g butter
2/3 cup caster sugar
set aside
2. small bowl
3 eggs whisked
1/3 cup milk
whisk together set aside
3. get ready
1 cup can or cooked apples
cinnamon optional
2 table spoons golden syrup
4. large bowl sift
1 and 1/2 cups self raising flour
1/2 cup plain flour
make a hole set aside
5. melt butter and sugar on low heat
6. add milk mix and melted butter mix to the flour stir gently
7. pour half mix into tin and spread out
8. spoon apples over the top
9. sprinkle cinnamon optional
10. drizzle 2 table spoons golden syrup over the top
11. spread other half of cake mix over top gently spread out
12. bake aprox. 40 mins til scewer comes out clean
13. dust with icing sugar
serve warm with cream or ice cream
