Got me thinking… your collection is very valuable, I think you rounded it to almost 2 million(maybe I’m forgetful). Your collection is EXTREMELY broad. Hypothetically, let’s say over the course of 18 mos, you sold your entire collection (tax free for example sake). If you were to turn your entire collection into up to 5 books, what super books would your collection look like? Maybe an idea for a q and a?
There is an interview with Al Feldstein that was included in “Matt Baker the Art of Glamor” that includes this re: Phantom Lady: Q: “Did you ink the covers, too? There was the one that is famous for the “headlights.” A: “Matt was famous for the headlights. I wouldn’t have been responsible for that anyway, because I never penciled Phantom Lady. I have no idea if I inked any of the covers.”
I agree with you, and I think the interviewer did too because he asked the question. I was surprised at Feldsteins response, but he was somewhat emphatic that he didn’t pencil it.
Holy smokes on that Phantom Lady, that’s some big boy book even in a purple label.
Nine of 10 is pretty darn good.
I was close silly Zombie Tramp is eluding me.
Great haul !
Thank you! 🤗
I've seen (today, even) several Zombie Tramp #1's on eBay. They were all variant editions, tho, so don't know if that meets your requirement...
There were actually 3 series of Zombie Tramp. The first series books are almost impossible to find. I just need #3.
Great collecting… I don’t understand why this channel doesn’t have 100s of thousands subs on it. Our little secret I guess.
Thanks, it is a niche which has a some group of people who appreciate. Most channels focus on the modern era comics.

Probably, it would be five books like (low-ish grades) Superman 1, Captain America 1, Batman 1, Detective Comics 27, Marvel Comics 1

Interesting because the "headlights" really look like his style and not the style of Matt Baker.

was the phantom lady restored? looked like a purple label.
Yes, it is a purple label. This was the only way I could possibly afford it.
was there a second appearance of captain red beard?
He appeared as a character in other comics but not again in Wonder Woman.
