Burning the fields in the spring - prescribed burning for habitat management - prescribed fire

This video feature Adrian burning the fields in the spring. Fire is an important management tool for rural property owners - we show a quick prescribed burning for habitat management. This also promotes native grasses. Several areas of our property are basically impossible to mow, so we use prescribed burns to keep invasive plants in check and improve the health of the land. In this video, we're burning a grassy area about an acre in size.
