Not gonna lie, this was a genuinely good english version of Baka Mitai. Like, not only was the singing great and the lyrics were perfect, but the story was the perfect blend of a funny parody and a sad story (and filmed well too). I both feel sad and find it hilarious (especially the picture, I was expecting Aigis or the brother and got frickn sucker punched by grandma picture (I just got the grandma foreshadowing with the ring too)). Thank you for the song, one to sing at karaoke night along with the original.

Yes, yes it is :] It was going to be a real girl, but she couldn't, so I went 2D. Mitsuru is also quality. I wanted to cram in as many shots I had as possible, hope it didn't get too bloated. Even so, I couldn't find any space for explaining the fate of the girl, though I can only assume it's similiar to my original ideas of him being drunk and a bit abusive/him hiding the ring in his hand behind his back for a surprise proposal but her being too concerned about being hunted by the Yakuza, and ultimately leaving him. But she's still alive. Either way, nothing ended well for the guy! I feel bad for Aniki too since I smeared ketchup-blood on his face (though not rly visible on cam) and had him lie down on the ground in the woods as he had to delay his date. Thanks for the help, Fabian!

Just looked up baka mitai covers for the memes and shit i cant stop watching this got so hooked with this cover its honestly amazing never played yakuza but comparing this to the original its a really good english redition also nice touch with the aigis sprinkled in random parts of the video
I almost cried hearing this because recently, a very close friend of mine on Discord now isn’t allowed to use discord anymore. He made so many friends including me in the server we made, but someone in the server pranked him and went way to far and it made him cry and his parents took away discord from him because he was crying over it and said he couldn’t use it anymore. and now hes only able to talk to me because now we have to message eachother through phone number. it was so sad and now he probably wont be able to see them again. This fits so well with the song
