  • Reggie has just started his training program with us. He is young and becoming more and more aggressive toward strangers, especially in the home. This is his very first training session.

When and why do you choose to use the marker "yes" and the marker "good"? Do you use them interchangeably or for certain reasons? Or both? Thank you

I think I heard her say that she uses "good" as a complementary positive marker that means "well done, hold your position".

great job! you are very good! i am so happy that i did find your channel. i like that you work with small dogs what is not very easy to find
I wonder if you have any video about excessive barking. My dog startle at any noise coming from outside day or night. even with family like open their bedroom doors,,going up the stairs and at night wakes everybody.. what to do? i hope you can help please. gratitude

What do u use as treats, my two 16 month Olds are finicky.
I don't leave food out so they know to eat but are not food crazy.

I have a mini aussie that is aggressive toward other dogs, when they invade my personal space. Do you have any recommendations to deal with an aussie that is territorial over their owner? She has been raised around a set of 7-8 neighborhood dogs which meet at the park everyday and suddenly shes exhibiting this aggressive behavior in the last 2 months. (She is 10 month & fixed)

@@deepikas207I’ve been researching and came across a vet here on YT ALSO some comments that said, they noticed aggressiveness after they were vaccinated…My puppy started doing the same thing. She was so chill and after vaccination something changed

Ok I am doing that, so would love a high value treat but they don't seem food motivated

A good trick with that would be to Hold Your Hand Palm up invitingly wait for their eye to soften a bit- rather than trying to pet from the top of the head- and if you scratch their chin for a second and then pull your hand back a bit do that a few times in a row and then just hold your hand there they'll reach out to your it because they realize they like it... It does more than petting when you scratch them then it's a nerve relaxing technique
