As long as the install does not damage the vehicle, there is no issue with BMW or warranty coverage.

Hi, is it Removable or Permanent in windshield? Im worried if it can withstand extreme cold? I live where it gets -40 to -50 (winter). Thanks

The camera is removable from it's bracket on the windshield, the bracket itself is attached via 3M tape to the windshield.
