Im 14 and im going to be trying out for my high schools volleyball team. But I literally have no experience like I don’t know what position i play but I obviously know the basics like passing, setting, serving hitting. Any advice?

off by looking up basic Terms/rules of volleyball and what the heck each position does. I would find an open gym or camp to go to. Hope this helps!
Hmm although I can't relate, since I have been playing since middle school. All you have to do is keep calm, support others around you. In other words if someone misses a serve, just say "walk it off" or "it's fine, you'll get it next time". So overall, try to be nice and have a welcoming smile. Just like miss Koko has said before to be open minded about others who might be in the same position as you.

As long as you believe and have confidence in yourself, stand tall and you will do better than you thought. Learning is easy. Just because you're not the best, doesn't mean you'll never make it. People who are experts at volleyball now, never knew how to play at first. You will get there, guys. ‼️❤️

me and my friends convinced my school principle to start a volleyball club next year. We have a term to practice together as a team before we start up properly next year. Im the right wing spiker (right side hitter), and just generally trying to learn everything in volleyball to get ready. This was really helpful :)

just go for it when it's low and it's coming at you just drop down like your going to propose to someone. At least that's what I do
Read the ball's direction. Works for me tho. The hit can be crosscourt. Down The Line depending on the position of the body of the player when jumping. Just look at her form spiking that way you can read the ball's direction
Rolling dig is the most effective or splitting dig. It's faster and you can control the ball properly

Im signing up for volleyball when i get into 7th grade. Im in 6th. I have been practicing and i play with interloop hands and not the correct way. but i seem to be really good at doing it that way and havent got hurt doing it that way what so ever. Would i be allowed to play it that way even though it is the incorrect way to hit the ball?
If u play good with interlocked hands try making a fist than wrapping ur other hand around it.

guys is it supposed to hurt when you pass or when the volleyball hits your hand?
If you're having some pain when passing, it may be because your platform is formed incorrectly. I would double check you platform and then analyze!

Both of my friends play mod volleyball and the season for volleyball just ended. When practicing with them they said I was really good. I have fallen in love with the sport and I’m planning to sign up for it next year. I wanted to know how to pass and the way you did it seems a lot more comfortable then how I use to pass. Is this mostly accurate?? I’m not hating I’m just a little confused. At my school they tell us to overhand serve it with our fist or as she show in another vid. They also tell us to form our hands for passing/bumping the way that she shows or the second one she shows that is “incorrect”. Once again I’m not hating I just got into volleyball and I’ve learned a lot from this channel but sometimes I just wonder if what’s she’s saying is accurate. :)
Yes, overhand serving with your fist is both dangerous and highly inaccurate. And yes, you want to keep your platform as flag as possible to prevent possibly of ricochet.
yea her tutorials are very accurate. I would recommend practicing the correct methods using her videos. They are very helpful and easy to follow :)

You can make your team! This is something you cannot control. You just need to find an alternate way to pass that’s comfortable for you.

I think she means you should figure out a way to pass that is more comfortable for you; as in trial and error.
