You know, every so often you get a scene like Wonder Woman and The Flash at 19:06 and realize that there really was potential here for a brutally sad and epic storyline of Friend vs Friend. With the likes of Wonder Woman and Flash realizing there is no saving their friends. Eventually The Flash turns as well. The music, the expressions, the total despair of the moment sets into place as Barry breaks through the control for a few seconds only to confirm what we already knew and wouldn't accept. He has to die, they all have to die, to save the world. The tragedy of the moment is sold as you see the look in Diana's eyes as she realizes this truth.... Then you remember this is a Suicide Squad game and the 4 tension killing buffoons in the back are just standing there, awkwardly waiting to take back control of the narrative so they can turn this from a Tragic and Epic Justice League story into and Insulting, Bizarre, half-assed "We have to be a team" story.

Yes, honestly there was actually a great story In there if I’m honesty but it’s ruined by the fact that it focus on suicide squad and the fact that treat the heroes as jokes and disrespects them. Honestly if we had to see more of Diana grapple with the fact that she has to allow the suicide squad kill them or the fact that it’s for the best then I think it would’ve been a better experience and maybe even the suicide squad themselves could have some sort of arc in there as well. Also maybe if Batman was given the original ending then it would’ve been better.

It is the same continuity, Rocksteady killed their own franchise, no other to put it.

If Rocksteady had done the story in a manner where the Suicide Squad had to free the Justice League from their mind control and TEAM UP with them to stop Braniac instead of killing them, you probably would've gotten a better story plus the potential ability to unlock the heroes as playable characters(at least that's what I'd do if I were making it).

This should have been a Wonder Woman vs the Justice League game. Her scenes were surprisingly emotional and it would have been cool if the game kept flashing back to how Braniac took control of the Justice League
Exactly. They had the ingredients for a premise. Have Wonder Woman the player character. Make the main story around her point of view. Not only does she have to fight her former teammates, each win has a reward to a key flashback.

honestly the flash sequences are the best in the whole game. he's one of the few remaining for a little bit and he still uses his powers for good knowing that he's been weakened and now has to have the villains save the world. and he proceeds to save harley quinn from a mind controlled batman and let them go on a bit longer. when hes finally captured and mind controlled they meet again and have to beat him and wonder woman intervenes. she ties him up with the lasso of truth and has a real emotional moment. she has to call for barry. the man inside that is trapped. and for a brief second you see him come back. to tell her the hard emotional truth. barry speaks, not the flash, not the scarlet speedster, but barry. and its the best moment in the game where you have to come to terms with what has to be done. im glad they made that a scene. it shows barrys emotion, nature, and his strength for a brief moment. i just wish it wasnt ruined immediately by the lack of empathy from the other main characters. but nonetheless its a very powerful moment and the best in the whole game

This game had so much potential, I was really excited when the game was announced and what this game could have been, but they kill off all the league in dumb ways just for plot continuation in an attempt to have some impact, but it just feels disrespectful and unsatisfying, they all just die with no value to it. I honestly just hated how the defeats of the heroes weren’t epic in any way. They all just dropped dead or got monologued to before dying. If they at least got to go out swinging during an after battle cutscene, that would have been so much better!
I’m surprised that when Flash escaped Braniacs ship, he didnt find Wonder Woman for a team up to work together. If he did that before fight GL, they could’ve won and try to save everyone efficiently. And Wonder Woman did find him later (when he was corrupted) so why didnt she try finding him earlier once he escaped. There is probably a way they could’ve communicated
They actually did meet up, it’s in one of the Audio logs, I think why they’re separated is to save civilians and get them to safety, hence needing to split up to cover more ground since saving civilians is the perfect job for the Flash. Then the Flash spots green lantern and engages to save the suicide squad and hopefully get his friend back rather than waiting for Diana.
The fact that they treat the flash like crap is heartbreaking because he is probably the only one who can save the world because he can rewind time and yet they just beat him up is just sad
The Arkhamverse finally gets a justice league, and most of them are killed by bullets and barely given a send off. This game had some great moments, and then boomerang tries to piss on the flash’s corpse. I’m not even that upset, flash is my favorite super hero and all I am is just disappointed, bro is a badass In the cutscenes, and then his boss fight gives him two moves and they shoot THE FLASH to death. What hurts is that the heroes, when heroic, are actually written REALLY well! They're genuinely heroic, maybe a bit naive, but in the end, they want to do right. Unfortunately, it's Superman's naivety in particular that allows Brainiac to win. I really do wish they made a Justice League game first before this one, just to show the downfall. That said, the fact that the depicted kills were specifically against clones and not their original selves (like I thought) means they can still return. Even Wonder Woman's death can be handwaved with a multiverse return elsewhere, maybe one where a more weathered Diana is the lone survivor of her world. Major contention: Barry here is pretty much depicted JUST like DCAU Wally, so I'm really confused why they wouldn't just stick with Wally instead of defaulting back to Barry if they were going to make the personality much more fun-loving and loyal to his friends. Two traits heavily defined with Wally rather than Barry.
One thing I'm curious about is how exactly did Brainiac brainwash the Justice League. I don't know why but I wish they would've showed it. The story made it seem like there was no way to undo the brainwashing.

I will never understand how they would be able to lay a finger on Barry, let alone kill him. His final fight literally started with it being established that he should logically be able to beat them all in a fraction of a second.
What were the developers thinking. Did they want to end any continuation of games? Killing all of the justice league leaves no story for us to follow. It’s like they wanted this to be their last game ever.
Scott Porter did a great. It was nice seeing him as The Flash here after seeing both as Heimdall in Ragnarök and most of all as Harry in Spider-Man 2. He is working a lot recently and I am so happy for him.

honestly the flash sequences are the best in the whole game. he's one of the few remaining for a little bit and he still uses his powers for good knowing that he's been weakened and now has to have the villains save the world. and he proceeds to save harley quinn from a mind controlled batman and let them go on a bit longer. when hes finally captured and mind controlled they meet again and have to beat him and wonder woman intervenes. she ties him up with the lasso of truth and has a real emotional moment. she has to call for barry. the man inside that is trapped. and for a brief second you see him come back. to tell her the hard emotional truth. barry speaks, not the flash, not the scarlet speedster, but barry. and its the best moment in the game where you have to come to terms with what has to be done. im glad they made that a scene. it shows barrys emotion, nature, and his strength for a brief moment. i just wish it wasnt ruined immediately by the lack of empathy from the other main characters. but nonetheless its a very powerful moment and the best in the whole game

This game had so much potential, I was really excited when the game was announced and what this game could have been, but they kill off all the league in dumb ways just for plot continuation in an attempt to have some impact, but it just feels disrespectful and unsatisfying, they all just die with no value to it. The Arkhamverse finally got a Justice League to lose it even quicker.
Right. This was supposed to come out in may of 2022 i believe and i was excited. Shame what it turned out to be. It could be fun to play but the disrespect in the writing to the justice league makes me not want to play

Fastest Man Alive, can’t be shot with bullets. Gets beaten by a bunch of non-powered villains who use bullets.

I honestly just hated how the defeats of the heroes weren’t epic in any way. They all just dropped dead or got monologued to before dying. If they at least got to go out swinging during an after battle cutscene, that would have been so much better!
I’m surprised that when Flash escaped Braniacs ship, he didnt find Wonder Woman for a team up to work together. If he did that before fight GL, they could’ve won and try to save everyone efficiently. And Wonder Woman did find him later (when he was corrupted) so why didnt she try finding him earlier once he escaped. There is probably a way they could’ve communicated
They actually did meet up, it’s in one of the Audio logs, I think why they’re separated is to save civilians and get them to safety, hence needing to split up to cover more ground since saving civilians is the perfect job for the Flash. Then the Flash spots green lantern and engages to save the suicide squad and hopefully get his friend back rather than waiting for Diana.
The fact that they treat the flash like crap is heartbreaking because he is probably the only one who can save the world because he can rewind time and yet they just beat him up is just sad
The Arkhamverse finally gets a justice league, and most of them are killed by bullets and barely given a send off.
This game had some great moments, and then boomerang tries to piss on the flash’s corpse.

I don’t care if he’s in a good or bad game, personally I think this is a meh, okay, all around average game, Scott Porter will ALWAYS be a highlight. Wether it’s Lucas, Heimdall, and now Flash. This man can do no wrong.
What hurts is that the heroes, when heroic, are actually written REALLY well! They're genuinely heroic, maybe a bit naive, but in the end, they want to do right. Unfortunately, it's Superman's naivety in particular that allows Brainiac to win. I really do wish they made a Justice League game first before this one, just to show the downfall.
That said, the fact that the depicted kills were specifically against clones and not their original selves (like I thought) means they can still return. Even Wonder Woman's death can be handwaved with a multiverse return elsewhere, maybe one where a more weathered Diana is the lone survivor of her world.
Major contention: Barry here is pretty much depicted JUST like DCAU Wally, so I'm really confused why they wouldn't just stick with Wally instead of defaulting back to Barry if they were going to make the personality much more fun-loving and loyal to his friends. Two traits heavily defined with Wally rather than Barry.
I liked the way they portrayed the evil flash as well as his heroic form, but the way he was treated is just fucked up

I will never understand how they would be able to lay a finger on Barry, let alone kill him. His final fight literally started with it being established that he should logically be able to beat them all in a fraction of a second.
What were the developers thinking. Did they want to end any continuation of games? Killing all of the justice league leaves no story for us to follow. It’s like they wanted this to be their last game ever.
