That Ele shaman you were dueling should defnitely have gone for Nature's Swiftness not Elemental Mastery. Either an instant heal or an Instant Chain Lightning is very valuable. As Tauren you can do a wombo combo as well. Fire Nova Totem>War Stomp>Lightning Bolt>NS Chain Lightning into Earth Shock. It will 1 shot almost every class if they don't counter it in time.

I think I will play troll yea. SP is the best class for 1v1 dueling and very good in world pvp 1v1 best 1vMany can do good too. All calsses you mention are good in world pvp but overall best Rogue cause you can just sit in stealth if you don't like the fight you see and pick your fights and you have the most cooldowns in the game to all in on 1 person even if needed, rogue with all CDs rarely loses

SP is better than destro lock and ele shaman yea but you have to carry this item "Discombobulator Ray" to dismount people cause the problem as SP is you don't have consistent stuns or slows and people just run past you
Despite the theorycrafting and extra blackout procs, I still don't think troll has an advantage over UD. shadowguard is awesome and does about as much damage as SWP ticks 3x, but i think a purely offensive racial (despite being absurdly mana intensive) is still superior. popping all cds on an UD is just next level, even if im CC'd to death I know that rogue is going down with me. troll wins for premades though with hex+zerk mana burn spamming healers - i could see shadoweaving disc being sick
Not really, as both Priests and Paladins can dispel DP, theoretically every Alliance class can also farm the remedies from STV which also remove diseases. Yeah, DP is great in 1v1s, but forces you to use IF with it and it absolutely sucks to use 2 CDs to have your dot insta dispelled. On the other hand you have -20% heal curse, speed buff and decent "lightning shield". I would take those over WOTF and DP, especially for premades.

My very solidly geared spriest's DP + SWP nets well over 4,000 damage combined, which is absurd. Even with a PvP set that's 80-90%+ of most players HP, just from 2 dots. On top of this, I have a low mana cost spammable defensive racial to proc blackout against melee. Again, not saying troll racials aren't great even in 1v1s, because they are. I just don't think they are superior to UD.
One sg proc does as much dmg as one 3x the dmg of a pain tick? That sounds insanely good tho and would probably mean that in a fight that you are getting focussed u deal more dmg with sg than dp(assuming u are reapplying which i imagine you should)
@@Neverzzzz The PTR is on the blizzard client and the new system won't have brackets anymore so you will need specific amount of honor to get rank points with the highest being 750K I think but thats on the ptr so it could change till release. Basically rank 14 is still a grind but a bit less and easier cause there is no decay anymore so even if you stop ranking you can continue later.

Haha, I have been reading this for so many years. I played shadow priest all the time. I've got almost 100k HK in classic vanilla as a shadow, and I can count on a single hand how many times someone dispels my DP with jungle remedy and I will still have some fingers left. I am dead serious. This is a great example of how theories meet the real world. Both races are great, but DP can be used offensively (even in PVE). For example, in AV, if someone is running by, you will hit him with MB + SWP + DP, and he has to get down from the mount or he will die. You can just chase him and watch him die. Great fun. But both races are great; it depends on what playstyle you prefer.@@Shavarko
