Electricity bills are higher in Spain (too much air conditioner), Germany, Belgium, all countries with lower salaries than Ireland, housing prices outside Dublin are affordable for professional salaries, especially now with remote working there is no need to live in Dublin,. Groceries are more expensive in Austria, Sweden, Malta, Belgium, and France, all countries with lower salaries than Ireland, the internet is very fast, I have 1GB/s in a small town in the midlands, the air is clean, people are nice (which is the most important factor), the society is family orientated, we live and let live, and I have a better house, more money, and more tranquility than anyone doing my job in Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Belgium, and the UK. USA and Ireland are very different. USA is land of opportunity and if you have skills it is possible to land a job there. But, if you are not an EU citizen in Ireland, then best of luck finding opportinities. Additionally, rental crisis and high rental costs will make your life more miserable.

Not really, Just look at indeed and you will see loads of unskilled work in warehouses paying 14 euro ph. The minimum wage is 10.50 but hardly any jobs offer that. Unskilled work you should at least get 12 euro ph.

😂 ikr. They have hap system but that doesn't help that much. It covers like 40% rent but you have you pay Extra 200 euro plus you and your partner can't both work full time
