    Thank you. First ever vlog I watched about Ireland. I like the mindset of the husband...saying what will be the guarantee you'll have a better life in AUS than what you have now. True.
    But just want to know more about the benefits of living in Ireland vs in the Philippines. Currentyl in the Philippines. Life is good here but thinking of the kids's education and also health insurance...better ba jan sa Ireland in terms of these areas?

    • @BoyetVentura
      @BoyetVentura  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Hello, thanks for commenting …❤️❤️❤️ill answer this as a married man without kids. I think it really depends what you want, what you’re looking for, what your current situation is, what are your goals? If I am living a good life in the Philippines meaning I have a good salary , a house , family and were more than comfortable, and not struggling with low income for example, I would stay (to be honest) life abroad has its pros and cons up and downs.but if for example somebody looking for better opportunities to have a good or better life than what one currently have , doon ko ipupursue mag abroad. I believe in terms of kids education it is free until seconndary school,health insurance you’re looking on paying 100 euros above per person, there’s a long waiting time if you’re looking to do an elective procedure publicly. Sa Pilipinas once you have the means, they schedulre you straight away , here mag iintay ka tlga if you’re a public patient.like months sometimes years , depende sa procedure and all. But id say the quality of life here is better conpared sa Pinas although, I would still prefer sa Pinas given my life circumstance is good. Mas masaya pa din sa sarili mong bansa.

      Hi! If you are both nurses, I think it’s a good idea if 1 will do full time with the HSE( govt run) for a more stable income and pension, better chances to get a mortgage and most jobs will have a flexible enough schedule to juggle with the other person doing agency.

      I admire how kids are raised here. I can say they are really into gentle parenting. Generally people are very polite, kind and lovely. My daughter always tell me her teacher never gets angry because she’s so lovely. My 4&6 y/o daughters wants to be teachers which only shows they are treated very well when they are outside of our house. Most of my young colleagues speaks highly of their parents which I think is one admirable value. They are very independent but they always stay very emotionally close to their parents. This is what I notice from my colleagues at work.

      Haha. We usually go for homecooked meals and less processed meals. We avoid snacks as much as possible so kids can eat more on the big meals. We don’t buy sugary drinks or bottled waters. If you’ll notice veg, fruits and crops have less tax than the processed foods. We go for non branded products like tesco and dunnes. Again, we only eat out or order take when we are celebrating something special or if we are on a holiday. We go over €50/week sometimes but €50 a week is definitely possible for us.

      It's difficult to compare your (or our) lifestyle with theirs. As shown in the video, Jean and her husband seem very frugal and practical, which is what I admire and aspire to. Her husband imposed a set budget for the food which they probably rigorously follow. If you notice all throughout the video, they make wise financial decisions. From the sound of it, it seems like they are part of the FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) Movement, but I'm not sure whether they are. But she mentioned that she and her husband are content and are happy with a simple life. And it's hard to accept for many of us (including myself) who are slaves to materialistic objects and want nicer things, even nice food, that people can be so frugal in so many ways and aspects. Truthfully, even me and my husband can easily spend 80-160 euros (not always but still happens most weeks) for weekly grocery and food spending (restaurant trips and takeways), just for the two of us. And we live in the province in the Philippines!😅 Wish I could be more like Jean, but I'm still caught up in the materilistic mindset. Maybe one day I can be like that. Hopefully, soon!
