In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Ironclad. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:
Slay the Relics Exporter, used for the live stream: steamcommunity...
Relic Stats, to keep track of how many times the relic effects happened: steamcommunity...
UI Sliders, to reposition the Discard and Exhaust piles, so that they are not hidden behind the camera: steamcommunity...
Run History Plus, giving us more info in the Run Summary screen about the run: steamcommunity...
Map Marks, for path highlighting - here, typically, Green means an easy, intended path, and Orange or Red means a harder path that I might take if I get good rewards: github.com/cas...
Even though I do not use it, I recommend Minty Spire for people looking for various Quality-of-Life improvements: steamcommunity... - เกม

Does anyone have any fun ideas for Ironclad challenges I can play? I’m like a 20% A20 winrate, but I like taking risks for more fun runs.
I was thinking of trying streaking A10-20 and seeing how far I can get. I don’t know that I’m skilled enough to complete that streak, but maybe could be fun.
I still haven’t done Commons only, No relics, Speed Climber, or Minimalist. Don’t know which(if not all) are achievable on Ironclad.
Those achievements are all achievable on ironclad, though I recommend doing those on ascension 0 or 1

I did those achievements on the clad personally, usually doing a boss swap. For minimalist you definitely want an empty cage and smiling mask tho. Best of luck!

Why didn't he play Bite here? Healing and advancing nunchaku? I realize victory was assured, but still.
I think he just knew he didnt have to optimize anymore. It's done at that point. Also, maybe keeping the 2 block you'd lose from beat of death is more valuable than the life gain? For entrench and body slam. But thats far fetched

There is no event that gives calipers. You may be thinking of the Warped Tongs event

Ugh, I hate when he takes the Runic Dome. I get that sometimes it's the best choice but it's such a boring thing to watch.

In this case he didn't really have a choice, tbf. Pyramid is a punt, and Panda might be worse than Skip with 0 Strikes and 4 Defends in a deck looking to actively Exhaust skills.
To be fair, you may be right but it's always satisfying seeing him guess the exact damage coming.
