In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Ironclad. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:
Slay the Relics Exporter, used for the live stream: steamcommunity...
Relic Stats, to keep track of how many times the relic effects happened: steamcommunity...
UI Sliders, to reposition the Discard and Exhaust piles, so that they are not hidden behind the camera: steamcommunity...
Run History Plus, giving us more info in the Run Summary screen about the run: steamcommunity...
Map Marks, for path highlighting - here, typically, Green means an easy, intended path, and Orange or Red means a harder path that I might take if I get good rewards: github.com/cas...
Even though I do not use it, I recommend Minty Spire for people looking for various Quality-of-Life improvements: steamcommunity...
At the end this run just became,”random bullshit go” and i am all here for it 😂

I reached and beat A20 on the first try recently bc of your Ironclad runs. Thanks baalor, i feel like i skiped way ahead of the curve bc of watching someone that already has experience 😂. Time to break my brain on the others now

Actually the achievement enabler still has one downfall, your score doesn’t get registered… if you care about that

I imagine this clad swinging like a buster sword/berserker sword,, just a MASSIVE hunk of raw metal. Especially in the collector fight then baalor was chopping one minion in half every turn 💀

Sea of stars is just a gem of game, I've played it all the way to Platinum trophy
been trying the same with Slay the Spyre for over a year and a half and i'm still in ascension 17 with clad and watcher.. also i still didn't killed the transient, hard stuff but i love the game

Bro the 14 heal before collector killed me!!!!! Later he’s gonna need the health points and have to take the key but he chose 14 unneeded health over a crucial amount of missing health. I mean it clearly worked out since it’s on TH-cam but man does he live and breathe taking all three keys at the last second possible. He’s billions of times better than I am so I know he’s right but man it feels like it’s so wrong…….. I’d never do the 14 heal over the key in that situation.
Its ok to just say you dissagree whit a play/choice balor made, on his tutorials he always mentions that most of the time its best to get instant rewards, he didnt ended up needing those 14 hp but wha if he did? Thats the end of the run, it wasnt the optimal choice but it was safe and he obviously made that choice because of his experience.

Im wondering why during the gremlin fight in act 1 (9:46) you didnt flex and defend in addition to playing bash?
Becauae Flex is a Skill card and Gremlin Nob gains Strength each time you play a Skill card
