Thank you for your very clear discussion and presentation. I have developed carpal tunnel syndrome following a distal radius Colles fracture (six weeks ago) and surgery to repair the radius with a titanium plate and eight or nine screws. Is this CTS likely to resolve when my wrist has recovered completely and is no longer swollen? Or is this more likely to be a permanent condition now?

    Hello there,
    I am Rozina from Bangladesh.
I have been diagnosed with severe Carpal Tunnel Syndrome(Bilateral Severe CTS). Recently I am facing difficulties with moving my finger of both hands. My finger tips feel like frozen.
I have visited 2 doctors. And Doctor 1(Physical Medicine) referred me to Orthopedics and Doctor 2(Neuro Medicine) referred me to the Neuro Surgeon. Both doctors have suggested me to go through an operation.
*Now i want to know if you can help me with the decision on under which doctor (Neurosurgeon or Orthopedics) i should go through the operation.*
    N.B.: I have diabetes from past 14years.
    Regards,
    Rozina
