Omg love the kit theories from people this was the perfect chapter to end the year off of. I'm glad they crammed all these introductions into this chapter instead of spreading it out like most series would. Seriously this is going to be insane sonic finally has a better deadly six am I right mkgd 🤣. Hyped for next chapter hopefully it does come next month

Ngl, I think Mimic and Clutch are using the Imposter Syndrome duo as scapegoats to distract everyone, and they'll just throw those two in front of the bus at any time to get less attention towards themselves

It's possible, I don't put anything past Clutch these days. And Mimic, given his history of doing away with others for his own benefit.
I really hope Amy´s words to Surge change her mind in a way, getting things more interesting

Hopefully, Clutch will explain how they ended up with Dr. Starline. I do have a hypothesis. What if Clutch kidnapped them before giving them to Dr. Starline?

Thats also ehat i thought, specially eith him saying that he also provided goods for starlines experiments, its kinda like he is telling then hes the one that gave them to starline.
But in the panels where clutch and surge were talking, i noticed, their designs are very... Similar.

Assuming Whisper didn't fake her breakdown in #64 to throw Duo off. She witnessed him kick Silver and put the Diamond Cutters in danger, and Silver gave her info about him that was way too coincidental (his eyes changing), so her just up and forgetting about all that would be stupid on her part.
Honestly I curious to see how the Diamond Cutters interact and bounce off these two. Like Lanolin reacting to having another harbinger of chaos in their group or possibly Tangle’s fun loving optimism colliding with Kit’s current no nonsense attitude. Though honestly I was surprised to see Kit so aggressive this issue once Rough and Tumble got there he immediately went to attack and he was not having any of the Restorations BS, he was kinda like an unsocialized dog aggressive to everyone around him to keep them away.
It'll certainly be interesting seeing Surge and Kit working with the Resistance. I actually somewhat hope they'll end up liking it and double crossing Clutch, because I don't know if he really knows anything about their pasts, I think he's just dangling that information in front of them to get them on his side. Whisper's going to hit the roof when she finds out everything about Surge, Kit and Mimic though, I hope she shows no mercy when it does happen.
something tells me shes trying to abuse sonic's own forgiveness to prove a point, but is going to end up falling for it at a certain point. I can only hope it happens sooner rather than later

I actually had a theory in mind that Surge & Kit would work with Clutch for this arc, because he isn't affiliated with Sonic or Eggman, and Surge had claimed way back in Impostor Syndrome that they were gonna destroy Sonic, Eggman and any idiot who followed either of them. I also had a MASSIVE feeling that they would use sonic's own ideals against him to get into the restoration, and they're DEFINITELY gonna try to make him regret giving second chances to others. Can't wait to see where this arc goes!
As for that little moment where Surge begins to ponder... the notion that nobody in the Restoration would EVER force her or Kit to do anything they didn't want to, really stirred something inside her. Bearing in mind that Surge & Kit were forced to lose themselves, forced to think and act based on the ideals of another... those words must've meant so much for her to hear. I hope that one day some kind of goodness will grow inside her (kit too!), even if it remains dormant for a while - I think it's still too early for them to be redeemed!😅Heck, I don't expect for them to become Sonic's buddies like a lot of the game cast have - I think these two are set to serve a different purpose in this series, given how they challenge Sonic's moral compass and ability to forgive so easily. I think they'd be better as anti-heroes, sort of like Shadow, feeling no ill towards sonic but equally no love either. I think they'd do lots of good on their own, separate from the Restoration and the heroes, even if it were just small deeds.
I don't know why but I have a feeling sonic would take her down considering the last time they fought he had a busted leg

With Surge and Kitsunami in restoration and meeting with some of the other characters, it does open the door to other possible intereactions, Even Amy giving Surge and idea that she isn't force to do anything. I am kind of against with how Sonic was convince Whipser to get along with Surge *(especially with how he first hand saw what Surge did to Whisper)* I do get why since Sonic is about moving on from Trauma, but this is Whisper we are talking about
But with Surge and Kitsunami making an alliance with Mimic, it does lead to the possibilites of what'll happen next. This "Imposter" Team does have a similar them with Identity and Distrust. While Surge and Kit lost their identity, Mimic takes advantage of anyone's identity. And both are distrusting teammates as they had intentive to betray their original team.
I’m glad we get to see those two again. Too bad we probably won’t get to see them again for another six months. The main series is taking a break to release a mini-series featuring the Hooligans.
Would be a very awkward dinner party between sonic and one of his friends who use to try to kill him.

Maybe it's a good thing Surge wasn't introduced to Jewel right away. She would have made an excellent bug zapper.

I hope they explain why kit has major beef with Tails Because it's not out of nowhere but he should be a little nicer that this... honestly I wasn't expecting this kind of reaction from him for so long.
It's because when they all (Sonic Tails Belle) thought Surge died from the fall in issue 50 they Told kit what they thought happened. So when Kit went to help Them in Central City he thought he was lied to and deceived by Tails and Sonic when he saw Surge was alive. It especially put Tails high on his hit list.
Also, as surge was made to replace sonic, so was kit made to replace tails, as said before by surge, she just hates sonic because thats what starline made her believe, the same is true for kit and tails.
Its kinda like the androids in dragon ball, they are just programed to kill goku, no other reason other than that.
Which is funny since at start people were comparing kit and surge to 17 and 18, to the point someone even made an art of the 2 dressed in the androids clothes.

Honestly, I think I don't think surge was even supposed to return so soon, I think the only reason why they're back is because of plot relevance, and since people love surge and kit, and with mimic- i mean duo being there, plus with ian Flynn's writing, i think they can make this comic series run again.

does anyone else think the fox and tenrec duo are gonna have a redemption arc? I think taht surge and kit will start to get happier since the team is being nicer to them and start to feel bad basically they don't/aren't used to the affection from friends and overtime they change but it becomes a situation where they BOTH have the villains and their friends to make happier

Yeah Surge and Kit will work for the team but their main mission is who they're, Clutch have the brothers, Mimic mimicking and now Surge and Kit in his side. Whisper isn't likely Sonic's idea. Idk if Surge takes Amy's words sense the Resistance and all aren't forcing anyone they can join whatever they like, Surge might take that what she understand, when for Mimic turn someone they knew jump start they're brains. Like someone thinks he is ded or something they used tobe if they betray Clutch, anyone looks great and nice. Nice job.
Well at least we know the events of 06 are at least implied to be canon cuz we haven’t seen Silver and Sonic fight once since that game
Pretty sure they were talking about Sonic Rivals, the first canon introduction of Silver to Sonic and friends. Also, they fought again in Rivals 2 and Generations. So yeah, 06 is still not canon.

Well, knowing Mimic, he’ll probably just stab those two in the back, like always. I always figured Surge and Kit would connect well with Belle, since it was her code that rewritten their minds and Starline did ruin all their lives. Belle can replace Mimic once Surge and Kit gets redeemed. If Mimic is meant to be their Knuckles, then Belle is definitely their Amy.
