This is a vocal battle, so it's all about the technique. It should be: 1. Dove 2. China 3. Sofia China and Sofia should develop their voices more (I guess it's because they haven't received much vocal training while Dove is classically trained and was also on Broadway)
China Anne McClain has a Range of Eb3-F#5-C6. Her voice is very confusing to the ear bc of her unease on low notes. However she is a Light Mezzo soprano. prolly a Light Lyric Mezzo Soprano. Her supported range is G3/G#3-Bb4/B4 (C#5)
What do you think of Sofia then? I think she’s a soubrette soprano... Her voice is also so much smaller than China’s and Dove’s. (Could be because she’s holding back) but i think it’s just her voice type. She feels more comfortable singing low.
E3: dove & china F3: sofia & dove F#3: china & dove G3: sofia & china C5: dove C#5: sofia, china & dove D5: sofia, china & dove Eb5: sofia & dove E5: dove & china overall, dove is the superior vocalist. she also has the healthest technique
@@lordvoldemort5725 That’s not first place stupid. He was just saying who he thought did better for each note. If all 3 are there that means he couldn’t pick because they were all good
I think China won. Although all 3 girls have very beautiful voices, China has a very strong voice compared to Sofia and Dove and she holds the soprano notes very well, still obtaining the power.
China is an underdeveloped lyric soprano. Although strong in high notes she seems to struggle with lower notes. She has way more strength than dove and Sofia. Maybe she could develop into a spinto, since these are mostly untrained vocals. Sofia has a more flirty, sensual sound, it’s smooth and sultry, and she has great control over her voice. Her vocal Type is confusing though. I would say an underdeveloped light lyric soprano. Dove is amazing. She’s very technical and her voice is very flexible. Definitely light lyric soprano. It’s bright and powerful but she doesn’t have as much weight as a full lyric soprano.
I agree, But... In humble opinion, Sofia looks a lot like a Mezzo-soprano. Live Above a D5 she shows a lot of effort, her tessitura is in the middle and low notes and her voice is gaining weight.
@@supervocal3039 True. I disagree on the lows though... Dove, despite being a soprano, is more comfortable in her lower range than Sofia, who is an underdeveloped mezzo-soprano (although that's probably because of Dove's technique).
Sofia is such a beautiful and confused voice...She sounds like a soprano, but her tessitura is mezzo...from a D5 she already shows effort and has never done E5 live, she only has an F5 live and it was in a recording of "Soy Luna" China seems to be Mezzo, but is likely to grow more... Dove is soprano sure haha Sofia has soprano timbre and mezzo tessitura
@@dylanconner1960 Sofia sounds a tiny little bit like Camila Cabello. Due her ... Light-Lyric Soprano-ish timbre. But then again she could be a Mezzo indeed with a Soprano-ish timbre. But who knows :P
Hello, so Dove is soprano, China for now seems to be mezzo, but she seems to have a good tessitura in high notes... Sofia has all the characteristics of a lyrical soprano, but she does not have a high tone, her voice is in the range of mezzo in the part of the reach, however its tone and brilliance is of soprano...she is perhaps a soubrete, but at the moment is singing like mezzo (in the range only)
Sofia has a crazy voice but she is a Mezzo bc of her timbre and her range. She can totally go higher to an Bb5 or B5 but she doesn't showcase her range much. Her support is G#3/A3-A4/Bb4
