My favorite part is how at 3:26 we go through all of skizz's affirmations and the exact time stamps of each one before we see the man himself die. Skizz is my favorite and the brilliance behind that section is unreal.
This, and I also love how well captured their reactions are to Skizz being Skizz. Jimmy in particular. I could hear him hollering 'I'm in therapy!' And Pearl's smile in her frame. So great.

It's a small detail, but the frame near the end of Impulse tightening his tie... like he's preparing himself for what might be his final moments, but instead of cowering or arming himself, he's tightening his tie to fight with dignity... AAAH!! SO GOOD!!!
0:52 my favorite detail, skizz is impaled by 2 swords symbolizing his 2 deaths, and the clock in the background goes back 4 hours because thats how much time skizz lost from being killed by 2 boogies!

But he does mention what they're affirmations were at some point in their sky meeting room when he was waiting for them to arrive.
Update after watching this many many times: I know it probably wasn’t entirely meant to line up this way, but how the lyrics say "i would fight for you" as Gem and Lizzie are shown to be puppeting the bodies is really cool. They came onto the server solely to spend the session fighting on behalf of their friends. And also, the facial expressions here?? The bodies are glaring at each other with the hatred Pearl and Cleo share for each other, but Lizzie and Gem are both glancing back at each other sadly. I would fight for you, i am fighting a war for you to have a break, but it’s still sad. Im sorry i have to fight you, my friend, but you know that we have to fight for them. Kinda alluding to what some people have pointed out on tumblr, the two of them come in blind in the midst of the fighting, and since they aren't all caught up already they can see how messed up this seems from an outsider's perspective. Am i reading wayyy too much into like 5 frames? Probably, but you need to know that i am obsessed with Gem and as such instantly latched onto the single part where she is shown

Love some double meanings :) Just like when it showed the Bad Boys and then Jimmy’s silhouette has the cannery wings, it plays “we were born to die” and same when Skiz was saying goodbye to Tango and Impulse/getting killed by Etho, it played “I will fight for you/ I will die for you.” I love it when the music and images just line up so well!
This is exactly what half of us have been waiting for ever since the ending of Limited Life. The other half recently binge watched the series and animatics. Thank you, every member of Everen that spent time helping to improve everyone’s mental health for just a little while by giving us masterpieces.
What's always crazy about Martyn's betrayal is that he did it to Scott, his ally from day 1, on one hand that's twisted and sick, on the other hand, respect for playing the long game so well.
I hope Skizz seen this I would've loved to see his reaction. Skizz is one of my favorites and watching his clock counting down with his affirmations made his death more heartbreaking. I'm so glad I seen this can't wait for your next animatic!!!

This is so gorgeous, I just can't stop watching. I also wanted to say how much I appreciate the fact that you took artistic license and put Skizz in his normal clothes at the end so that his beautiful moment of self-sacrifice didn't happen with him in his underpants like it did in the game. It's just so much more moving this way, lmao!
Oh as soon as I saw the skin change I was like “oh heck no Skizz!” XD I draw the line in keeping my designs accurate to the players skins when Skizz goes all Imp and Skizz on us. Gosh imagine him being topless in that scene? Would’ve looked really wrong :o
0:37 I love this moment where Scott becomes the boogieman. This is the first scene of the animatic and is also kind of the true beginning of the series. There is always a short peaceful period at the start of each season but it never lasts. Once there is a boogieman any chance of peace is gone and you can see on Scotts face in the artwork his realization he will be the one to start off the chaos that was always inevitable coming. I could just be reading to much into it but this is so good and so much to be interpreted. Bravo Everen.

As usual...I LOVE ALL THE REFERENCES TO PREVIOUS SEASONS, THEY'RE ALWAYS SO GOOD 0:55-0:59 I was OBSESSED with the beach confrontation between the ranchers and the boat boys in limited life so I was really looking forward to seeing it in this video and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Seeing the parallels of Etho and Tango being absolutely PISSED and Joel and Jimmy just smiling and laughing was so good. The soulmate strings going from green to red (and I adore the detail of the string fraying) to disappearing was *so* good. Also I know this was probably unintentional but the fact that in the original double life animatic made on this channel, Etho's string was connected to his finger but in this one it's connected at his heart. A reference that he actually grew very fond of Joel? Or just a better way of depicting the soulbounds, once again I am probably just reading too much into it. 1:15-1:20 Not many things stick throughout the life series but Impulses and Bdubs clock tradition sure does (Bdubs held onto that clock for the entire season, it was oddly sweet). The gentle hold and handing of the clock in limited life compared to the rough grasp and the absolutely TORTURED expression on Impulses face in third life broke my heart in a good way 3:17-3:19 THE LYRIC "Feel the years go by" is SO FITTING FOR THIS. Third life was 2 years ago, let that sink in. Flower husbands reference is always appreciated with Jimmy looking absolutely heartbroken (I guess in this case more desperate, he was on like 30 minutes at this point) as he kills Scott which is far from the happy go lucky guy in the flower field that he use to be teammates with. A bit off topic but these frames make me think of that moment where Scott kept saying "say it back" after he told Jimmy "love you" and Jimmy refusing to say it back and just continuing to threaten him. Absolutely beautiful work. Technically not references to specific series and just the life series in general but all the canary imagery throughout (0:29, 1:13, 3:55) was beautifully drawn
Honestly didn’t take into consideration that Etho’s soulbound was originally around his finger. It was just to make it more visually obvious, but I LOVE your interpretation of it! I didn’t have space in the animatic to add Scott saying “say it back” but that scene was meant to be reminiscent of that moment as well! Awesome that you picked that up! I believe Cleo at 0:41 has just set fire to the mansion and then the next scene is all the Clockers watching it burn. 3:27-3:39 is all of Skizzleman's "affirmation moments" in order with the timestamp of how much time he had left when he did them, ending with his own final death.
Etho pulls a bow on Pearl right before Impulse boogey kills her as an act of defense and warning, wondering why she came up Skynet. Family moment is rather when Bdubs was seen as a traitor the whole episode by both sides of his family Pearl wasn't sick but unable to use a computer I believe, but yeah still didn't make it The time on the screen is the exact timestamp where Skizz did his affirmations with everyone, then showing Tango and Impulse at the end, where he then dies by Etho Impulse blew up Pearl and BigB with an end crystal There isn't a rule saying you can't kill people when they apply rules to something; i.e. Pearl's game was rigged from the start, leading up to both her and BigB dying by Impulse when they're distracted, but I digress.
Skizzleman was the best part of this series, and you've done him justice. The rest is great, too, with a lot of great touches. You've pulled some great emotion out of this, very well done!

My favorite part by far is the affirmations leading up to Skizz's POV of Tango and Impulse and then Etho. The emotion behind them and the music together was so heartbreaking. The whole thing is super fantastic.

I don't usually leave comments on youtube videos but this animatic genuinely moved me so much I absolutely had to. Not much makes me actually cry or tear up but this animatic did. The music choice combined with the stunning visuals were more than enough to bring me to tears, specifically the part where we go through all of Skizz's affirmations before seeing him die. That struck a chord with me- Limited Life Skizz reminds me so much of myself, because when you know you don't have much time left you want to spread as much love as you can. Seeing the way the emotions on Tango and Impulse's faces are drawn and depicted, and the way they hold him... it really does a lot. Thank you for taking the time and effort to create such a beautiful animatic.

I love how you include callbacks to past seasons in your animatics. Tango and Etho's soulmate ties disappearing as the Bad Boys scamper off Scott flashing back to the Flower Husbands as Jimmy desperately needs to kill him Bdubs receiving a clock from Impulse and flashing back to when he killed his friend for that very same trinket It's just so amazing!
1:12 As Joel and Grian turn into Jimmy’s wings here it makes me think of an analogy. That Jimmy and Joel were Grian’s Pesky Bird wings. And when they fell he lost his wings that could have saved him.
your brain.... your brain, holy shit. not to mention joel kind of goes insane after jimmy died (which ended up causing his own death). he said he wanted to sacrifice himself for jimmy and he failed but he's still trying to salvage it 😭
This was absolutley epic- there was so much emotion behind 3:39 too and the way you conveyed it through your art almost had me crying a little 😅 The tears in Tango and Impulse's eyes, as well as a slight feeling of what I can only describe as numbness coming from their faces, as they're grabbing onto Skizz's arms The acceptance laced with defeat shown so clearly in Skizz's eyes- The pain and guilt in Etho's- The look of hurt confusion on Grian's face when Jimmy dies, that turns into shock with Joel's death- And especially the flash of lightning reflected in the glasses- something about that genuinley took my breath and hit really hard. You were given maybe 20 or so seconds of a slow part of the song and you did not fail to use it well and portray some of the more dramatic moments of the series. Absolutely phenomenal work

Just over a year later and this is still probably my favorite limited life animatic. From the brilliant way you incorporate all the final deaths in the beginning, the soulmate strings leaving because instead there’s a timer now, the flashback moments, the emotions, the designs and colors, the way you make things happen in your art, the sand timer with the EVO sign and watchers is beautiful, it’s all just incredible. Not to mention how just heartbreaking the animation is, it’s so sad 😭❤️. I adore this animation so much. Thanks for sharing the song with so many life series fans. You really are incredible Everen.

The frame with Tango surrendering to the explosion when he lost his green status was a very beautiful part of this video. However, so much more of it was amazing, but it's all so good that I don't have the words for it

But seriously, I have watched both of those videos, probably once a week since the first time that I saw them. The way you are able to recap the series in such a beautifully consistent way while also making it flow flawlessly to an emotional song takes some true talent!

This is inccredible! The beginning going backwards in time showing each final death is crazy, the ability to allow the viewers to understand who each person is just by a shadow is insane talent.

ngl, Skizz's affirmations before his true final death were what make his demise far more heart wrenching. He made us cheer for him, and support him by being genuinly kind and bringing affirmation, love, peace and kindness to an otherwise chaotic and bloodthirsty series. And him winning would had been so poetic in a sense.

I never thought an animation about Minecraft would actually bring me to tears. Honestly, this is one of the best I’ve ever seen. The song choice, the character designs, the backgrounds. My favorite part is how at 3:26 we go through all of skizz's affirmations and the exact time stamps of each one before we see the man himself die. Skizz is my favorite and the brilliance behind that section is unreal.

Update after watching this many many times: I know it probably wasn’t entirely meant to line up this way, but how the lyrics say "i would fight for you" as Gem and Lizzie are shown to be puppeting the bodies is really cool. They came onto the server solely to spend the session fighting on behalf of their friends. And also, the facial expressions here?? The bodies are glaring at each other with the hatred Pearl and Cleo share for each other, but Lizzie and Gem are both glancing back at each other sadly. I would fight for you, i am fighting a war for you to have a break, but it’s still sad. Im sorry i have to fight you, my friend, but you know that we have to fight for them. Kinda alluding to what some people have pointed out on tumblr, the two of them come in blind in the midst of the fighting, and since they aren't all caught up already they can see how messed up this seems from an outsider's perspective. Just like when it showed the Bad Boys and then Jimmy’s silhouette has the cannery wings, it plays “we were born to die” and same when Skiz was saying goodbye to Tango and Impulse/getting killed by Etho, it played “I will fight for you/ I will die for you.” I love it when the music and images just line up so well!
This is exactly what half of us have been waiting for ever since the ending of Limited Life. The other half recently binge watched the series and animatics. Thank you, every member of Everen that spent time helping to improve everyone’s mental health for just a little while by giving us masterpieces.
What's always crazy about Martyn's betrayal is that he did it to Scott, his ally from day 1, on one hand that's twisted and sick, on the other hand, respect for playing the long game so well.

0:37 I love this moment where Scott becomes the boogieman. This is the first scene of the animatic and is also kind of the true beginning of the series. There is always a short peaceful period at the start of each season but it never lasts. Once there is a boogieman any chance of peace is gone and you can see on Scotts face in the artwork his realization he will be the one to start off the chaos that was always inevitable coming.

As usual...I LOVE ALL THE REFERENCES TO PREVIOUS SEASONS, THEY'RE ALWAYS SO GOOD
0:55-0:59 I was OBSESSED with the beach confrontation between the ranchers and the boat boys in limited life so I was really looking forward to seeing it in this video and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Seeing the parallels of Etho and Tango being absolutely PISSED and Joel and Jimmy just smiling and laughing was so good. The soulmate strings going from green to red (and I adore the detail of the string fraying) to disappearing was *so* good. Also I know this was probably unintentional but the fact that in the original double life animatic made on this channel, Etho's string was connected to his finger but in this one it's connected at his heart. A reference that he actually grew very fond of Joel? Or just a better way of depicting the soulbounds, once again I am probably just reading too much into it.
1:15-1:20 Not many things stick throughout the life series but Impulses and Bdubs clock tradition sure does (Bdubs held onto that clock for the entire season, it was oddly sweet). The gentle hold and handing of the clock in limited life compared to the rough grasp and the absolutely TORTURED expression on Impulses face in third life broke my heart in a good way
3:17-3:19 THE LYRIC "Feel the years go by" is SO FITTING FOR THIS. Third life was 2 years ago, let that sink in. Flower husbands reference is always appreciated with Jimmy looking absolutely heartbroken (I guess in this case more desperate, he was on like 30 minutes at this point) as he kills Scott which is far from the happy go lucky guy in the flower field that he use to be teammates with. A bit off topic but these frames make me think of that moment where Scott kept saying "say it back" after he told Jimmy "love you" and Jimmy refusing to say it back and just continuing to threaten him. Absolutely beautiful work.

My favorite part by far is the affirmations leading up to Skizz's POV of Tango and Impulse and then Etho. The emotion behind them and the music together was so heartbreaking. The whole thing is super fantastic.
OHHH MY WORD! ABSOLUTE LOVE! Loved the way every event was portrayed so well. The Gem and Lizzie's substitution for Cleo and Pearl was shown so beautifully. Absolute legend Everen! Im so emotional now.

I don't usually leave comments on youtube videos but this animatic genuinely moved me so much I absolutely had to. Not much makes me actually cry or tear up but this animatic did. The music choice combined with the stunning visuals were more than enough to bring me to tears, specifically the part where we go through all of Skizz's affirmations before seeing him die. That struck a chord with me- Limited Life Skizz reminds me so much of myself, because when you know you don't have much time left you want to spread as much love as you can. Seeing the way the emotions on Tango and Impulse's faces are drawn and depicted, and the way they hold him... it really does a lot.
Thank you for taking the time and effort to create such a beautiful animatic.

this is absolutely gorgeous, and the part with “i will die for you” with etho and skizz at 3:50 made me tear up. there’s so much detail here it’s wild, i know i’m going to be rewatching this several times to properly take in all the details

1:12 As Joel and Grian turn into Jimmy’s wings here it makes me think of an analogy. That Jimmy and Joel were Grian’s Pesky Bird wings. And when they fell he lost his wings that could have saved him.

This was absolutley epic- there was so much emotion behind 3:39 too and the way you conveyed it through your art almost had me crying a little 😅
The tears in Tango and Impulse's eyes, as well as a slight feeling of what I can only describe as numbness coming from their faces, as they're grabbing onto Skizz's arms
The acceptance laced with defeat shown so clearly in Skizz's eyes-
The pain and guilt in Etho's-
The look of hurt confusion on Grian's face when Jimmy dies, that turns into shock with Joel's death-
And especially the flash of lightning reflected in the glasses- something about that genuinley took my breath and hit really hard. You were given maybe 20 or so seconds of a slow part of the song and you did not fail to use it well and portray some of the more dramatic moments of the series.

Just over a year later and this is still probably my favorite limited life animatic. From the brilliant way you incorporate all the final deaths in the beginning, the soulmate strings leaving because instead there’s a timer now, the flashback moments, the emotions, the designs and colors, the way you make things happen in your art, the sand timer with the EVO sign and watchers is beautiful, it’s all just incredible. Not to mention how just heartbreaking the animation is, it’s so sad 😭❤️. I adore this animation so much. Thanks for sharing the song with so many life series fans. You really are incredible Everen.

It killed me when Tango and Impulse just clung onto Skizz as Etho slayed him. The Clockers reuniting after dying, Grian being the last Bad Boy and being adopted by the Nosy Neighbours and that's only to name a few moments off the top of my head. You did such an incredible job! if there is one thing i have learned from watching this channel is that you think its really good, then discover an easter egg that makes it 1000 times better
The starting clock sequence had Jimmy fall down with flashing wings. The vex attack also had Jimmy's silhouette with the wings. And his fall had the feathers. It was foreshadowed from the beginning.

This is inccredible! The beginning going backwards in time showing each final death is crazy, the ability to allow the viewers to understand who each person is just by a shadow is insane talent.
I'm not someone who comment alot on videos but this one deserves a loooong one. My expectations were high but you still managed to shock me. Limited life was epic but you've made it appear 100 times more epic than it was. Here is some bits I loved extra much:

ngl, Skizz's affirmations before his true final death were what make his demise far more heart wrenching. He made us cheer for him, and support him by being genuinly kind and bringing affirmation, love, peace and kindness to an otherwise chaotic and bloodthirsty series. And him winning would had been so poetic in a sense.

I never thought an animation about Minecraft would actually bring me to tears. Honestly, this is one of the best I’ve ever seen. The song choice, the character designs, the backgrounds. It’s all incredibly well done. You’re one of the creators that inspired me to try animation. And honestly, seeing how hard it is, you have more patience than I will ever have. @@hoopa_axolotl9293 Yeah, I was wondering what the times meant. Then it dawned on me. I’m glad Skizz got a bit of a spotlight in this animatic though. He’s not as often focused on as the others. One of the only others I can think of is Milk Man by Kipp. It’s very good but as a warning not PG.
