XP Plastic mounting Bracket for Remote $9.95, do yourself a favor and get the XP Lanyard for $2.75. Mine broke when it was a month or so old, I keep spares in the bag now. Loved the spoon handle and the root!
Shawn & Jerry, I love this content. I think it should be on the History Channel & we should be paying for it!!! You have completely blown my mind once again and I thank you both 💖💖
That is a pistol ball starter. The diameter looks like a .45 maybe. You know, where to start. Your early commentary was great. The finds are really cool.
I found a toy gun in pieces that looks very close to the one you dug. I cleaned & reassembled it and it looks awesome. I'm sure yours will clean up just as nice. Agreed, 1940s to 50s from the research I did. I found a picture of a pristine example in someone's private collection. I display mine with the picture for historical comparison. Nice get!!
Great show fellows I really enjoy your videos, your finding are very similar to what I'm finding in NW France where I live now ! I had the same issue with the Remote control support ! They aren't very expensive 12 bucks ? Thanks again from Kevin in France and Florida
Many times old sites were interesting to country folk, and they picnicked and explored them during summer. They would lose coins doing so, as well as hunters, so the toy revolver was likely lost in the early sixties.
Great video guys i love your videos you all do a awesome job can't wait for next Saturday keep up the amazing work stay safe out there lots of love from West Virginia ❤️🙂
My guess is at least one family lived in the area, if not in the school house building. As a youngster in Greene County, there were two old schoolhouses , then functioning as homes, with which I was familiar.
We did read they are commonly found in coal. The area we detect in is loaded with old mines. We actually thought maybe it was possible a student or teacher at the old school may brought it in for a show and tell. Thanks for watching.
Each week you put out great content. That’s impressive. Keep doing what you do. You’ll be glad you did. Enjoyed once again from Southwest Tennessee. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I replaced the RC holder on my D2 before it broke. Dirt Devil Detect’n makes a great carbon fiber version, three different versions. There is vids about it on his TH-cam channel. I am happy with mine. The ticks bad in your area this year?
@@detectingpa8968 You loosen the carbon fiber thumb screw and the RC comes right off. No concern for it just popping off anymore or need for the lanyard. Since I swing with my right, I got the “angled” version with the RC tilted towards me. There is a lefty and straight on “normal” version. Not promoting or pushing, just wanted to inform you there are options for the RC mounts.
Sean what does the symbol on your hat stand for? I had to take a triple take because of how similar it is to my channel logo lol. I just made up the design in Canva and thought it was cool. I might need to change it up if that is some official company on your hat :). Had to ask.
@@detectingpa8968 I appreciate it. I’m relaunching my channel to do all cache hunts soon so will likely switch it up anyway. Just crazy how close. Enjoy the videos you guys are putting together.
Yeah I do know with my general settings on the Deus 2 it’s hard to determine what things are. Now when I used the at pro, I could have just detected with tones. Now with Jerry’s program he uses, I’m not sure.
I also use the Deus 2 and that part has broken on me twice. It's a pretty annoying aspect of the machine. Cheap enough fix but bad design considering the rest of the machine was done really well.
That piece of petrified root was an awesome find in the target area!
That square tag had 71 on it, i believe
I found a shield nickel last week on the surface...on the mountain behind my house
Awesome! Congrats!!
Great hunt guys. Awesome old coins and relics. Nice find on the petrified root. Nothing like holding old history in your hands. All the best John.
Thanks John. Imagine all of the fossils we walk over every day.

That tree fossil is incredible WOW!!! It looks like it was cut? I've never seen anything like that 😳...
I’m jealous of the fossil. Nice job guys
Nice finds the fossil you found i lucked up and found one just like it thanks for sharing

We are waiting for the TV contract. No calls or letters yet. Hahaha

Ball Starter. That’s the word I was looking for. I used to muzzleloader hunt and had one like it a few years ago. Thanks for watching and the comment!
Great finds guys!!! I enjoy your show so much!
Another great video. Thank you.
I already have goosebumps, watching now guys... 💖💖
"SK" is a crop pickers check.
Enjoyed the intro. Nice finds guys.
Another great video! Congrats on the fossil. Cool find!

Another awesome story to tell. Maybe future video idea!? 😃
Cap to oil lamp, screwed onto base
I live in Baltimore Md and love all of your videos! I learn so much
Great intro

Nice hunt and finds!
Im glad that you mentioned both detectors broke in the same place. I will wait until the design is improved
Awesome machine regardless. We are trying to contact XP for replacements.
Love your show guys
Thanks Jay.
Great job guys

Petrified wood
I would carry that old tree fossil out!
Ball starter.
Awesome as usual
Thanks Nancy!
Real hot spot! As I sit here enjoying your finds, I'm wondering why I don't get out and do the same thing. Enjoy!
Get out there. Lots of history to find!
I recommend you guys buy the AT PRO series machines.
Shawn started with the PRO. Great machine!
Great hunt fellas congrats on that fossil did frllas look for the piles of rock for the school site?
There was one noticeable pile of stone but not sure it was related.
very adventurous hunt, go back again. i'm sure there's a hot spot
That site is gonna be loaded. Just need that thick ground cover to die off.
Maybe a pickers check?
You found some history 😊
That piece of petrified wood is from the coal mines!

I loose my ball starter at least every other year in PA muzzleloader season.
I swear that tag said 71 not just 1...
let's go let's go treasure and adventure ✌👵
Rock and roll !!!
Awesome hunt. Do you guys not get poison ivy? Seems like you are all through it.
Jerry gets it occasionally. Myself (Shawn) not so much.
Each week you put out great content. That’s impressive. Keep doing what you do. You’ll be glad you did. Enjoyed once again from Southwest Tennessee. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks James. We plan on keeping it going. Tough going right now though with life things and the thick PA woods.
I just had to re-subscribe ! For some reason they had me as not subscribed !
Glad you’re back!

These essentially make the module permanent to the shaft though, right? We take ours off frequently for the hike in and out of the woods.

Definitely worth checking into. Losing the module in the woods is frightening. lol
Seater and short ramrod
I’m curious, why don’t you have your module?
The top of the shafts where it connects broke. It won’t stay connected to the top.
Your partner sure is the oldest object.😅😅

It’s the Hurley symbol. As long as yours is slightly different, you should be good. 👍

I look it up couldn’t find anything on sk
Same here. Slovania coins have SK on them, but I didn't see a denomination to indicate the value, if that's what it is.
Other viewers said it is probably a pickers check.
@@detectingpa8968 That makes sense. 👍
Numbers baby! Your lost without your numbers. Wawa. Wheaties baby!! My 24 year old machine can find this stuff.
