Yeah, I’m started to see why Mable is hated so much. I don’t agree with it, but Dipper being the “object of mockery” being mocked by Mabel and Stan is pretty annoying sometimes.
@@the_demon149 You're not the only one feeling that way. I don't hate Mabel, I love her personality and her comedy relief role sometimes, but her writing as a co-protagonist is beyond frustrating and messy, seriously, the writers just turned her into their golden child while Dipper is the punching bag, and it really, really shows.
@@dracoangelrojo I actually don’t dislike this choice by the writers. As someone who always got bullied by my sister and family, Dipper felt super relatable to me. And because Dippers the main character and Mable’s not, I feel that it makes sense to make the protagonist the one who struggles more, because it’s less likely to relate to “the sibling who always has it easy”. I personally felt that Mable seemingly being favoured by everyone around her made Dipper more relatable as the punching bag. Wether this was intentional by the writers or not it still elevated the show for me
Remember how in Amphibia the frog version of Grunkle Stan try to imprison Anne to use her as an attraction? I’m convinced that this episode inspired that
The anthology episodes were largely done to save time and money as the crew was often falling behind schedule due to working on scripts right up until the deadline. That being said, they are some of the funniest episodes of the entire series as the crew is able to incorporate ideas that couldn't carry a full-episode.
The funny part about that is that according to the commentary, they didn't really end up saving much time because they required more backgrounds and other work in general
This episode was one of the best Gravity Falls episodes I’ve ever seen. Especially the short stories of Stan’s hands, Waddle’s genius, and the stop motion animation.
I personally really dislike it, or at least the fact that it's not canon. Gravity Falls is a show that actively asked the audience to pay close attention and try and find hidden details. So for the creators to come out and say "Yeah pay close attention but just not to that episode, that episode doesn't count" is really stupid.
Personally, I love how the 2D animation and the claymation styles mesh together in the last story. The character Harry Claymore, and the segment in general, are a tribute to legendary visual effects master, Ray Harryhausen and his stop-motion films.
You know other things I see to like the golf cart is 3d some times and every car is bill cipher is a 3-D pyramid and the mystery shack is 3d I never see anyone mention it. I always see. Stuff 3d in cartoons
I know people are mad at Mable in the 2nd story, and yeah, she was a bit selfish, but remember: 1. She's still a child. And yes, the same age as Dipper, but he is clearly trying to grow up to fast while she doesn't want to at all. Both opposites on the spectrum and both not good. 2. Waddles CHOSE to give up his intelligence. That was HIS choice, not Mabel's. She just tried convincing him. And yeah, it worked, but only because Waddles wanted to go back to how he was cause he also missed it. Like Patrick said in that one SpongeBob episode where he became smart: "Knowledge can never replace friendship" Not saying being smart is bad, but that having all the knowledge in the world won't matter if you never make genuine connections. 3. Dipper's alone alot, sure, but he honestly seems to prefer that. We never hear or see him being bothered by the fact he has no guy friends (Soos maybe being an exception? I guess I mean he has no guy friends his age). He doesn't even try to make any guy friends cause he's so busy trying to solve mysteries 24/7. So, that's kinda on him for that.
seriously, like, the reason i latched onto Dipper so heavily as a kid was because of how deeply i could relate, being picked on constantly and being unable to defend myself without being punished, not having a good support network, always feeling like nobody ever listened to me, always being expected to sacrifice everything for others. I think Dipper was created to be painfully relatable, and therefore it makes me happy when i see people mad on his behalf, we all understand his pain.
But remember, Waddles is not THEIR pig. He is HER pig. Also, put in the perspective of being accustomed to seeing girls in media having to be selfless in order to support the male lead. So when writers with that lens try to write a female character that isn't self-sacrificing, they make them come across as spoiled. Back to the time travel episode, I'm GLAD Dipper didn't get Wendy because he shouldnt get rewarded for manipulating reality jist because Wendy didn't pick him, just sounds like a rude guy at the bar that won't take "no" for an answer. If he were successful with his plan to get Wendy, many kids that watched this would get the impression that a girl saying "no" means "just put her in a position where the choice to say "no" isn't an option. The time travel episode is just a girl who wanted a pig and boy who couldn't accept rejection. Edit: I don't think it's fair that Dipper gets dogged on all the time either. But it's not only Mable or only Dipper. They both have positive and negatives about them but Mable is either villianized or babied. And Dipper is either hero worshipped or created like a weak coward. They're 12 year Olds, they don't even know what their doing half the time.
And thanks to who did she get said pig? Dipper. And it's not like Dipper doesn't have to share stuff all the time with Mabel, or Mabel taking Dipper's things away without permission. One day with Dipper hanging out with Waddles wouldn't have killed her. No one is asking Mabel to sacrifice or being selfless for Dipper because he is the male lead, people are asking her to be writen propperly. Mabel being selfish isn't the problem, it's how her selfishness gets constantly rewarded while Dipper gets punished all the time and is forced to sacrifice for her sake, even when what she is doing is wrong. Mabel could be just as selfish and flawed as much as she is already as long as she faced consequences for her actions, but that just never happens, she constantly gets rewarded for her mistakes. No one is saying Dipper was a saint in the Time Travel episode, but let's not act like he was manipulating Wendy or that he didn't accept a no, he wasn't, he was simply trying to fix his mistake of hitting her with a ball to get a better day, and yet he fixed his mistake and set it all right. That's not manipulative, unlike Robbie who is a jerk and a manipulative piece of work. Also, let's not pretend like Mabel was a saint in that episode, she had met a pig for a couple of hours at best, and her reaction was to try to mess and destroy the timeline just to piss her brother off because she didn't get what she wanted, and then hit her head against a pole to guilt trip Dipper until she got what she wanted. And while Dipper had to fix his mess, Mabel didn't, in fact, it was Blendin who got punished for the mess Mabel created, while Mabel got rewarded by keeping Waddles. That episode starts to show the double standard and horrible favouritism these writers have towards Mabel: Mabel ALWAYS has to win, and Dipper ALWAYS has to lose. They both can do wrong but it's always Dipper who gets punished while Mabel gets rewarded. And it shows. Again, yes, they are both 12, yes, they are both flawed, they are not evil or saints...but the writers clearly put Mabel as the golden child that can do no wrong and who has to get her way all the time while Dipper keeps being the punching bag. They turned her into a writer's pet.
@@dracoangelrojo Nope, Mabel got Waddles all on her own from the get go. The question should be "who helped Dipper 'get' Wendy? Mabel." And for that she had to give up something she earned without meddling with time. Dipper was super in the wrong in that episode.
@@47ratsinahoodie Sure, because Mabel causing anomalies on purpose out of spite and getting Blendin in jail wasn't in the wrong, was it? I'm not saying Dipper was in the right in that episode, he wasn't, but neither was Mabel, with the difference that Dipper cleaned up his mess, Mabel didn't, she got an innocent man in jail while she got to keep the pig that she knew from the first moment she would not be able to bring back home, and who she allowed to wreck the Shack, all without Stan's permission. And Mabel hardly helps Dipper with Wendy at all, if anything, she helps to sink that ship constantly.
@@dracoangelrojo are you blaming mabel as if it wasnt dipper who even wanted to time travel n the first place? you are clearly biased and not logical dude, also mabel wanted to save waddles from being eaten as that was heavily implied

_Little Shop Of Horrors_ is a 1990s musical comedy, itself based on a late 1950s movie made by the great Roger Corman. He made it on a dare that he couldn't film an entire feature film in 24 hours. He won!
What Stan did to the POV traveler at the end scared me more than the supernatural nightmare fuel the show gave us. Edit: I'm also laughing my ass off at how you just happened to have a plastic hand flipping the bird within reach. You could make good use of that.
People with masculine bodies actually DO have milk glands. Everybody has the organs necessary to produce milk, but people with masculine bodies don't normally produce the hormones necessary for triggering lactation in high enough levels. Masculine and feminine breasts are made of exactly the same parts. The only difference is the way fat in them is distributed.
i'm not going to pretend that Dipper doesn't get the short end of the stick more often than Mabel, but I would argue for her this episode. Waddles was given sentience and could make his own decisions, he chose Mabel and that's fair. There's nothing stopping Dipper from getting another mushroom to boost his own intelligence, but Waddles chose for himself, just like Dipper can
I agree, but I think Waddles destroying their invention was completely unnecessary, he could have let the machine be and get himself back with Mabel and that's it. And it doesn't help that Mabel might have just guilt tripped Waddles for him to come up to that conclusion. I do agree that this isn't the episode that I find the most upsetting regarding Dipper's unfair treatment, but it's just another example how the narrative always makes sure Mabel gets away with anything she wants while Dipper is constantly losing.
@@dracoangelrojo And Dipper could just find another mushroom to figure out how to use that machine and do all research himself, but of course, he can do it again with Ford now, not necessary taking sister's pig.
@@Rayni_XZ.o First of all, Dipper didn't take his sister's pig away, it was litterally Waddles who ate the mushroom and offered and asked Dipper to help him out in his inventions, it was Waddles' wish and will to do it, Dipper didn't force him or even ask him to do anything. Then it was Waddles who destroyed the machine, which was absolutely unnecessary. It's not fair that Dipper is expected to lose everything in his sister's favour and suck it up every time. He matters as much as Mabel, but Mabel is constantly defended and benefited while Dipper is always sabotaged and forced to sacrifice for her. It's a one-sided relationship.
@@Rayni_XZ.o Uh, yes, he did, he litterally didn't just undo his intelligence, he destroyed the entire machine, we litterally see how it breaks down after Waddles pressed the button. That was completely unnecesary: he wants to go back to be a pig? Perfect, but don't ruin an invention that Dipper really cares about and that they both worked hard into.
Dipper being "alone" is caused from his own personality tho. He's not as friendly and outgoing as Mabel so it would be weird for Mabel to give a friend, Dipper needs to be the one making friends. I also can't imagine just giving my only pet to someone who didn't care about said animal, especially if this pet starts talking and changes personality lmao.
Exactly. His isolation is at least partially self-imposed because he refuses to put himself out there. Minor Spoiler: In the road trip episode, we see that Dipper could easily make more friends if he just tried more and had a little more confidence. And he's clearly friends with Wendy's friends too, which came from him actually trying to befriend them.
Exactly, I'm an introvert myself and though most of my friendships were extroverts adopting me, I also tried to make attempts to make friends myself, and boom, not alone. We know Dipper's inability to make friends is a direct result of his personality and behavior; in the episode Mabel befriends Grenda and Candy by being an impulsive and confident extrovert, Dipper's LITERALLY trying to overcome being an indecisive and unconfident introvert.
*Grunkle Stan:* You watch the movie. You scare the girl. The girl snuggles up next to you. Next thing you know, you gotta riase a kid. Your life falls apart. Forget that last part.
“Dipper doesn’t have any friends whatsoever!” Soos: “Am I a joke to you dude?!” Edit: I know that Soos is a lot older than Dipper, but considering that he’s a child at heart (don’t like using the word, “man-child”), I think he qualifies.
True, but then again, Soos is also friends with Mabel just as much as he is with Dipper. Mabel on the other hand has two best friends of her own age group.
Dipper also seems to be friends with all of Wendy’s friends too though they are older than him. The difference is that mable went out and made friends while dipper was either hanging with Wendy or doing something with the books. I mean besides the sleepover episode dipper never seemed to want any friends besides Wendy and her friends which he’s also friends with
@@Cookiesandcreamss I disagree, just because Mabel went to make friends and got lucky to find 2 girls of her age and befriend them, doesn't mean Dipper didn't try too. He obviously tries considering how much effort he puts to hang out with the gang, and we really don't know if there's more kids of his age in town. Dipper actively said in many episodes he wanted to make friends or we saw him making the effort.
@@dracoangelrojo Sorry I don’t remember what episodes he said that. Though we have seen dipper hang out with both Soos and Wendy as well as Wendy’s friends. This also makes sense that dipper would only want to hang out with teens because he wants to grow up quicker. I don’t know a single episode where dipper tries to make friends. (Besides the inconvenience) Dipper isn’t even upset that waddles isn’t hanging out with him he’s upset that waddles isn’t smart anymore and broke the machine.
Only five more episodes to go, people!!! We're so close!!! Elijah's gonna lose her shit when she reacts to 2x11, mark my words. Also, because she's a Marvel fan and there's tons of LGBTQIA+ rep in it, does anyone else think Eljiah should check out Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur?
@@valentinkambushev4968 well, they tried at least? I’m going to watch that soon so I’ll see what you mean about it since I haven’t heard much about it.
Dipper has nobody because he's a loner and not socially well (especially since no one is like him in that town), it's not exactly the worst thing. He chooses where he is, he's not lonely, if he is lonely, he goes to his sister or the others. Mabel is the extrovert who likes being with people or with Waddles 24/7. I agree about defending Dipper, but in a way of understanding his character too because just saying he's lonely isn't exactly true. It's just that he doesn't have anyone as smart as he is. Besides, it's Waddles choice where he wants to be.
Fun fact, Stan doesn't have any kids of his own, it was confirmed on twitter that Stan little rant about raising a kid was all stuff HIS dad said to him as a child
Okay, so a few non-spoilery things that you might like to know about this episode: 1: This episode isn't technically part of the "official canon" of Gravity Falls, so rest assured, Stan didn't really kidnap the "cheapskate" and put them on display. 2: Smart Waddles is voiced by Neil deGrasse Tyson. 3: There was originally gonna be a twist where it was revealed that the "cheapskate" was actually M. Night Shyamalan.

Neil Degrasse Tyson as Waddles has to be the most hilarious and genius castings of all time. Just imagining him in a booth recording these lines, XD! "Hey! HEY!"(yelling at the goat) "There is more to life than making fart noises...and laughing about those fart noises." "The pig goes oink! The PIG GOES OINK!" "Now, the pig goes wherever he can shine the light of knowledge!!!" "Yummy yummy...for my fat little pig tummy!"
Mable's friends are Candy Chiu and Grenda Grendinator. Given that Stan was just making the story up, it's natural that Waddles returns to Mable in the end, especially since he can't do anything of the things Stan claimed he could do when he was smart.
All of these Disney shows do an anthology style episode usually once per season (and so does Rick & Morty with Interdimensional Cable or something else); Gravity Falls did the one where they fall down the bottomless hole last season, Amphibia had the one where the Plantars tell horror stories, Owl House had "Knock-Knock-Knockin' on Hooty's Door" (which did a pretty big twist on the format)
I love that the Hand Witch is wearing a robe clearly inspired by the one the Master wore in the classic movie, 'Manos: The Hands of Fate.' Hell of a callback, Gravity Falls people. 10/10.
I have a show recommendation, It’s called Mobile Suit Gundam Witch From Mercury. It’s an Anime, The English dub actor for the main protagonist is Jill Harris, aka Charlie from Hazbin Hotel. The show has a strong LGBTQ focus, fun characters, a cohesive and strong story, has this mix of light hearted moments and very dark moments, and some incredible action sequences. After the Owl House ended, I felt a need to find something to get me engaged and make me look forward to what the future has in store, that’s when Witch from Mercury caught my eye. As someone who isn’t even that big of an anime fan, I highly recommend this to you.
Well fun facts! As a genetic student I can confirm male nipples are compleately functional! But what they need is hormonal trigger, which usually doesnt happen. But there is cases in history that male lactation happened due to few medicine usage for compleately unrelated treatments such as medicine for headache or depression, caused some dudes to produce milk. Weird to lot of male people around me with toxic masculanity, but its true evolotion-wise, and really interesting. Even male bats helping their mate about breastfeeding the offsprings!
The scene where they show stop motion. The dude is inspiration from “Ray harryHausen” including the monsters that were shown in the movies that were stop motion

"To be fair" nah dipper taking waddles isnt fair imo thats Mabel's pet sure dipper does get the short end more often than not but he shouldn't just get Mabel's pet
Just that you know: This episode is kind of a filler and non canon. However, what happened to the cutomer was pretty dark. I still can`t belive, that they did that. My oppinion on the stories: The hand-off story: I loved the reference with the eye of Sauron and the humor in this one was great. Also, you with your hands were amaizing! The one with clever Waddles: I defenitely would use that mushroom instead. Also that noipple-joke was hilarious! And you`re not the only one who likes Dipper more than Mable. The clay story: I loved the combination of stop motion animation and 2D-Animation (and I still can`t imagine, how diificult would have been for Alex and the crew to animate that). Thos story reiminds me of the good old days when I watched Shaun the sheep, it was just so awesome. The next episodes is one of my favourits in the entire show, and it`s gonna give some answeres to you along with more mysteries.
So I’ve done some research on the end credit “codes” and I’m just going to say this: In dippers book you can see (in the Bill Cipher page) there is a translator circle thingy which is called the “vigenère cipher”. Once you see that then you can translate the end credit codes and lots of other information in the Journals. Love ur content and hoping you’ll see this comment🙏🏻
seeing Smart Waddles reminds me of the smart dog from Rick & Morty but he wants to take over the world by whipping out the Humans. plus hearing Waddle's voice is amazing
Stan: "Can I have my hands back? I have a certain gesture I'd like to share with you." Is it the gesture that The Thing made in the show Wednesday? Because that was hilarious!!! XDXD
It's interesting to see not only so many reactors intensely dislike Mabel, but so many members of the audience agree with them. I saw a lot of myself in Dipper, both because of his personality and because of his circumstances (I also have a younger sister; not a twin, but really close in age, and very similar in personality to Mabel), yet I never felt the show puts Mabel over Dipper *too much*; when it started to get close to it, the show itself lampshaded it and punished Mabel in S2E4. Idk, I'd like to know what exactly makes people feel like the show makes Dipper "lose" so much in contrast to Mabel, since it usually does a good job of presenting both sides of the coin. In this case, not only is Waddles *not* Dipper's pet (Mabel won him, and she's pretty much the only one we see being close to him) but Dipper also wanted to hang out with Waddles only after he was changed by a supernatural mushroom. How is that fair to Mabel, or in general?
People don't really dislike Mabel, her personality and behaviour are pretty accurate for the 12 year old she is, what people really dislike a lot is how she is kept under a plot armor constantly that keeps her from facing consequences for her actions and suffer character growth like the others, and instead her blame and consequences are deflected to someone else, usually Dipper: we already saw Dipper constantly giving stuff up for Mabel when he really didn't have to if Mabel had just been able to reach a compromise with her twin, but instead, she just had to have her way while making sure Dipper lost whatever he wanted: his time with Wendy, going to parties, his pool job, his laptop, his investigation, everything. And Mabel didn't get punished in S2E4, she just barely got called out. I mean, broke her promise to Dipper, forced him to help her to fullfil the lie she had just made up to impress a stranger despite having the entire Shack helping her already, ignored his warnings about Bill, broke her promise and ditched him again, saw her brother turned into a living socket in hysterics BEGGIN for his life and her first two reactions were telling him to wait for her show to be over and her date, and the third one was laughing in his face when he was panicking. And even afterwards she handled the book to Bill, KNOWING Dipper's life was on the line, and only backtracked when Bill guilted her. And even then she sacrificed absolutely nothing, in fact, it turned out to be benefitial because Gabe ended up being a creep and Mabel considered him a dodged bullet. It's not that people "feel", it's what happens every single time, it's a patern: Dipper always has to lose whatever he wants or is working on (a day with Wendy, a party, a job, his room, his laptop, his work to find the author, and more that I won't say to not to make spoilers) and Mabel never stops, she keeps asking for more at Dipper's expense and never reciprocates the same love and support, all the opposite, she never tries to reach a compromise with him and it always has to end with Dipper losing even when he shouldn't have to. And while it's true Waddles is not Dipper's pet, but Mabel's, sorry, she shouldn't have never gotten the pig in the first place because she didn't ask Stan permission beforehand, didn't house train the pig and let him and even encouraged him to wreck the entire Shack as the pig pleased, including Stan's attractions that he needs for his job to sustain the Shack, and she knows her parents won't let her bring the pig back to Piedmont. And it was Waddles who reached Dipper out to teach him, and the one who wanted to hang out with Dipper for ONE day. How is that unfair to Mabel? How is it unfair that Dipper gets to hang out with the pig one fricking afternoon? Dipper is constantly sharing everything and everyone with Mabel, let the kid have fun one afternoon for once.
@@dracoangelrojo you use such stupid things you really need to watch that vid, dipper didnt loose his pool job because of mabel and even then Mabel was trying to save someone and bring them back to their family by getting dipper fired from a job hes in JUST for wendy not because he actually wants to work, are you this dense and immature???!?!? LMAO
@@AdaminTranzit I've watched it, and it's completely biased, the entire video just either justifying Mabel's actions by "Oh it's for the plot to follow" or "Oh, Mabel did nothing, it's actually Dipper's fault". The only one spilling BS here it's you, bud. If you don't like my opinion, feel free to ignore me and stop answering me.
On a related note, I can recommend a horror manga, that got a two set DVD tie-in *not a full series but enough mini-episodes* called Pet shop of Horrors. Its mini-episodes about people buying pets from a secret *special* petshop...its mythical beasts and demonic creatures so each mini-episode is about the people buying one, it fitting a theme for them, and twist endings.

The reason I think that the Hand Witch sounds familiar, in my opinion, is that she reminds of Dr. Doofenshmirtz in a way. Voice wise at least. Great episode all in all.
A new season of the show Good Omens has recently come out, and I would love to see your reaction Elijah! It has lots of queer representation and is interesting in its plots. If you're interested in multiple queer romances and demons and angels, I'd strongly suggest this show!
In this episode Stan feels lot like the Curator from Amphibia, which makes sense since he's technically an alternative version of Stan Also, the story of the Hand Witch is the only one that actually happened, the other two were made up by Stan
I know that Mabel misses having Waddles on her side, but I also have to agree with Elijah here. Mabel spends a lot of time with Waddles, has her two best friends Grenda and Candy, and is beloved by everyone, whereas Dipper gets bullied and abused so many times and only has Soos as his real friend. Also, he used to have a crush on Wendy, but she doesn't feel the same way given she is a teenager, and he is still a child. I believe that Pacifica might be the perfect match for Dipper. Speaking of which, I want to see more of her. She reminds me of Amity. I just want to give Dipper a big hug. He deserves the best in life.

I actually don’t dislike this choice by the writers.
I’m convinced that this episode inspired that
Same here, when I saw that episode it instantly reminded me of this one

The anthology episodes were largely done to save time and money as the crew was often falling behind schedule due to working on scripts right up until the deadline. That being said, they are some of the funniest episodes of the entire series as the crew is able to incorporate ideas that couldn't carry a full-episode.
The funny part about that is that according to the commentary, they didn't really end up saving much time because they required more backgrounds and other work in general
@@Karas540 They loved the show too much to phone anything in. Once someone pitched a funny idea the crew had to see it through.
This episode was one of the best Gravity Falls episodes I’ve ever seen. Especially the short stories of Stan’s hands, Waddle’s genius, and the stop motion animation.
It was so silly! 😂
I personally really dislike it, or at least the fact that it's not canon. Gravity Falls is a show that actively asked the audience to pay close attention and try and find hidden details. So for the creators to come out and say "Yeah pay close attention but just not to that episode, that episode doesn't count" is really stupid.
I Agree 👍💯
@@Pcat0yeah right its a fun episode but NEVER one of the best episodes anyway its not even a canon episode so its not included in the story
Fun fact the stories in this episode are non cannon
Personally, I love how the 2D animation and the claymation styles mesh together in the last story. The character Harry Claymore, and the segment in general, are a tribute to legendary visual effects master, Ray Harryhausen and his stop-motion films.
The stop-motion was done by people who have worked on *Robot Chicken*
You know other things I see to like the golf cart is 3d some times and every car is bill cipher is a 3-D pyramid and the mystery shack is 3d I never see anyone mention it. I always see. Stuff 3d in cartoons
Interesting.
He was a legend indeed.
It does look really good.
I know people are mad at Mable in the 2nd story, and yeah, she was a bit selfish, but remember:
It's the "Dipper deserves better" segment of this episode reaction that actually made my day, When I brought it up I was laughed at. 🖤💖
Seriously he's my favorite character and it feels like no one appreciates him in the show or in real life
I mean bill even takes advantage of the fact he always sacrifices for Mable
seriously, like, the reason i latched onto Dipper so heavily as a kid was because of how deeply i could relate, being picked on constantly and being unable to defend myself without being punished, not having a good support network, always feeling like nobody ever listened to me, always being expected to sacrifice everything for others.
I think Dipper was created to be painfully relatable, and therefore it makes me happy when i see people mad on his behalf, we all understand his pain.
@@thedorkknight9684 even when people hate for no reason on mabel for him??? both are shitty
@@Lumberjack_king dipper does not sacrifice almost nothing :)

What Stan did to the POV traveler at the end scared me more than the supernatural nightmare fuel the show gave us.

Good thing it's not canon
@@dracoangelrojo Waddles didn't destroy machine, he destroyed his brain cells, Dipper still can try to figure out how to use this machine
Minor Spoiler:
In the road trip episode, we see that Dipper could easily make more friends if he just tried more and had a little more confidence. And he's clearly friends with Wendy's friends too, which came from him actually trying to befriend them.
@@AZDfox Oh boy the road trip episode. That's gonna be interesting...
True tho Dipper prefers to be alone most of the time with his mysteries and etc.
That doesn't excuse Mabel and the others picking on him, and Mabel always making Dipper sacrifice what he wants for what she wants.

Soos: “Am I a joke to you dude?!”
Edit: I know that Soos is a lot older than Dipper, but considering that he’s a child at heart (don’t like using the word, “man-child”), I think he qualifies.
True, but then again, Soos is also friends with Mabel just as much as he is with Dipper. Mabel on the other hand has two best friends of her own age group.
soos is just as much of mables friend then dippers, more so honestly since he cant relate to dipper

Dipper is constantly sharing everything and everyone with Mabel, let the kid have fun one afternoon for once.

...I'd love to know what he put in the scripts to manage to sneak through the implication that a minor character was fucking a woodpecker ("oh, it's still legal..._very legal.")_
The handwitch is very scary and creepy!!! Also, Mabel giving her uncle a hands makeover is so funny!!!!
The reason I think that the Hand Witch sounds familiar, in my opinion, is that she reminds of Dr. Doofenshmirtz in a way. Voice wise at least. Great episode all in all.
Matt Chapman is the voice actor for the Hand Witch and Mermando as well, believe it or not
@@TheBlackEternalWings I'm sure he must've had some kind of input to the writing of this episode too, it's got strong Homestar Runner vibes.
You know! There is this gacha serie called The Music Freaks that i think you'll love to watch!❤❤
1:49 the name of the villain from Lord Of The Rings is Sauron i think (i had to google it. i didn't remembered it too🤣)
A new season of the show Good Omens has recently come out, and I would love to see your reaction Elijah! It has lots of queer representation and is interesting in its plots. If you're interested in multiple queer romances and demons and angels, I'd strongly suggest this show!
Absolutely agree with you!
I love how expressive your reactions are.
Anyone else noticed that in the first story the witch called Stan Stanley? I never noticed
13:25 I´m an animator and I love it when animators make jokes about being an animator in their cartoons
In this episode Stan feels lot like the Curator from Amphibia, which makes sense since he's technically an alternative version of Stan
Also, the story of the Hand Witch is the only one that actually happened, the other two were made up by Stan
Can't wait to re-watch this one, only last year I watched Little Shop of Horrors.
Seeing Waddles as the smartest character is so cute and funny at the same time!!!!
When gravity falls ends if elijah and Morgan want a show with the same comedy we could recommend gumball.
Birthday episode! This is one of my favorite episodes of Gravity Falls, and I’m so glad you covered this episode today! Greetings from Hawaii!
Love your vids! Keep up the good work!
Also, I live for the curly bangs!
Well, you might just be in luck for all three of those points about Pacifica....
Remember, we're currently at S2 E6...
i mean, we have to remember this episode is not canon. it's stan inventing stuff (the page with the magic mushroom isnt even in journal 3). if you got to see the whole series you can even find a paralel with stan's life and the abaconing tale
im pretty sure a small amount dudes can lactate.. its very much different from women but still counts.
also, THANK YOU for the dipper rant.. i love him sm its unfair how he gets treated
1:49 it looks like the portal door's eye, or the papa titans eye.
SO READY FOR THE NEXT EPISODE. AFter this episode I became obsessed with season 2
Damn! Epic science lesson/ mystery answered!!! thanks.
Also congrat on ur role as Luz in "We Don't Talk about Belos" video! U were perfect as Luz!!! KUDOS!
I am guessing you were ranting about Mabel and Dipper’s sibling friendship with either Morgan or Mosco
Next episode is the beginning of some of the big plot coming together, I’ll say that much. You’re still a few episodes til some big secrets are revealed, but the next episode is the start of things to come
9:37 LIKE GURL
I'VE BEEN SAYING THIS ABOUT MABEL!
Honestly, It is her pig, she won it fair and square. Sure Dipper is her twin (and I love Dipper don’t get me wrong, but he’s kinda like me, he likes being alone with his own thoughts and interests), but I know I wouldn’t feel very good if I took someone’s animal companion from them when it was theirs and not mine to begin with. 😭
The eye thing from lord of the rings is actually called the eye of Sauron
I really love the 2D animation and clay animation in the last part of this episode!!! So cool!!!!
Hey so you know Heartstopper season 2 is out rn only on Netflix and girl it will put you in ur feelings!!😂
