Remplacement de l'embrayage - Fiat Punto Mk1

Je remplace l'embrayage de la "Punto Mayo".
Le remontage fera l'objet d'une autre vidéo, plus courte, hors devoir de formation, donc probablement différente sur la présentation.

I noticed the spring diaphragm in the new part is different from the one you removed. Did it work?

Hi, yes, the number of "spring blades" are different but it fits well, I suppose the difference is a softer clutch command (the older was too worn to be significative)

The reason I asked is because I replaced the clutch in my fiat Panda and like yours, the old clutch had 12 spring blades and the 2 new clutch kits I have tried both had 18 spring blades and the clutch in my car does not work with those. I put the worn clutch back and it fits just fine. I was curious to see if you had the same issue. Cheers.

@@antagonistalion Well, considering you done it as it should, check the difference between your parts, what's the brand ? Low cost parts doesn't fit as they should (I read this on fb group).

@@franckRC24 the first kit I tried is made by Ridex, I bought it from AutoDoc. After installation the clutch pedal didn't have enough travel, it was as if it was getting stuck, so I took everything apart and refitted and had the same issue, I then bought a Valeo kit which had the same result, so I decided to install the old clutch back and that one works as it should. Both the Ridex and the Valeo have 18 spring blades as opposed to the 12 in the original unit. The problem I have now is that new parts seem to come with the 18 blade spring diaphragm and on paper fit my panda but in reality it seems they don't.
At this point I think I will end up reusing the old pressure plate but don't really want to do that because the spring diaphragm blades have deep marks from the throw out bearing.

​@@antagonistalion There's surely a logic answer, is there 2 mounting models (with dual mass flywheel and not ?) You can measure the height of the bearing from the fork or the upper and lower position of the bearing from the end of the shaft. If the new bearing works well with the old pressure plate, check the height of it from the flywheel. There's a difference somewhere, just find where. So you can also try to find the part number of you flywheel to check the model. Keep us in touch ;-)

Bonjour, 2 ans ce sont écoulés, mais je dois changer mon embrayage et sur internet il y'a 2 dimensions concernant le disque d'embrayage un modèle en 180mm et un modèle en 190mm et les 2 sont préconisé pour ma punto. Alors avant de tout démonté comment savoir lequel commandé? Merci

Salut. Regarde pour quels code moteur / boite ces embrayages sont prévus. Le seul moyen de ne pas se tromper, valable pour toutes les pièces, c'est d'utiliser le numéro de pièce (OEN) qui est gravé sur ton ancienne pièce (mais le kit 3 pièces a un numéro propre, comme chacune des pièces).
Dans les faits, je préfère démonter PUIS commander pour une bonne raison : En démontant, tu tombes toujours sur une truc qui est à remplacer "en passant", et que tu n'as pas vu avant. Quitte à commande des pièces... Bon bricolage

@@franckRC24 bonjour, merci, en faite j'ai trouvé, effectivement avec le numero oem, sur les punto essence année de 1993 a 1998 il y'a 2 dimensions du disque d'embrayage, il y'en a un qui fait 180mm et un autre 190mm, le miens en le demontant et bien un 190mm, du coup je commande au fur est a mesure que je démonte car oui effectivement des fois il y'a des surprises 😊. @@franckRC24 tant que j'y suis j'ai une autre question, je dois changer ma boite de vitesse mecanique et sur la nouvelle avant de la remonter j'enclenche les vitesses à la main en faisant tourner l'axe de la boite et c'est assez dur a faire tourner, je voudrais si c'est normal ou si même en passant les vitesse elle est censé tourner sans forcer, l'intérieur des pignons etc et en très bon état et non usé pour info. Merci
