Comprehensive review. I just got this a month or so ago. Was tossing up between that and the UDA. Both recently stocked in australia which is nice for once. Went the Velocidor due to the angled handles which is great for my rough shoulder.. I love it. Mounted it on the wall with the 3x3 tube which saves room on the half rack I have. I use it almost every session for dips or leg raises for mobility and core or even when I’m just walking past it in the gym when I’m not working out.
    Enjoy the content mate 👍🏼

Can you mount it on the wall with the 3x3 and move it down with a hitch pin in the bottom hole without the Velocidor digging into the wall?

@@davidflores4369 sorry I took a bit to reply I don’t have notification on comments. So there are only 3 holes in the tubing supplied by rogue. U need 4 holes to be able to line up the top pin for normal dip work and then insert a second pin (which doesn’t come with the product, u have to buy additional or use one u already have) into the bottom hole. This allows u to take out the top pin and store the velocidor on ur rack. U cannot do this with the wall mounted option because there aren’t 4 holes anyway but also the tubing sits flush on the wall so the velocidor itself can’t tilt forwards to allow it to rotate and store. I believe the benefits of the wall mounted option is that you shouldn’t have to store it, just leave it in its dip configuration.. due to its weight it was a nightmare to flip around anyway. Hope that makes sense..

Cheers for the review. Love dips (again). Back in the day you could never tell if the dip bars at a random gym would aggravate your shoulders until it was too late. I never get that on these rack style dip bars (everyone's different though).

Man. I went back and forth woth this vs UDA MM. I decided on the MM/ROGUE collab, and i have no regrets. Love mine. Mutant metals got it right.

Great review! Have you tried to perform dips on your storage unit? Is it stable enough? I was thinking of getting one and leaving it on storage to not have to move it around much before use. Thank you!

It works but the storage unit is a little wobbly so it is not as stable as my power rack and I would still need to move the Velocidor from the side to the front and it would be very low for me.

Would the velocitor fit on a Rep rack, or would it not be possible to interchange?

Possibly. You only need 1" hole to be able to use it so not sure if the hole spacing will allow you to secure it with 2 pins instead of 1 but only 1 is enough. The website says that the REP is made with 3x3 uprights so it should work. I tried it with my prime single stack and it works.

Nice, go buy the MM while it's on sale now.

Shipped with one Pin, where do you buy your extra pins?

Rogue used to offer them. You can email them but I believe the pair cost like $30. You can also get them on Amazon. Just look 5/8” or 1” hitch pins.
