hey do you think you would be able to pass the cpa exam while working in public accounting? I am heading into public and am thinking of ways I can manage surviving public while trying to pass this beast of an exam.
Jason ChaterBox you can pass while working but it is a bit harder to do so due to the nature of public accounting (hours spent working). However, if you are already working my advice is get it done sooner than later. As you continue your career in public accounting, you get on more engagements and have more responsibilities as time goes on. My advice would be to study and try to pass within the first year at the firm. I have a video on CPA tips if you want to learn more on how to study/pass the cpa exam!
