Last game you stopped repairing the planetary. The hydras started attacking the SCVs instead so the planetary reached full health, causing the repair to stop.
I came to comment exactly this. I always wonder why pros are so adamant that auto repair is a bad idea.

@@buffoonbatman1590Specifically because auto repair can cause feedback loop on scvs repairing each other. Remember that a scv startting and stopping repairs non-stop is more expensive than an SCV repairing continuously. So, with every micro damage an SCV sustains, that would deplete the minerals needed to repair quickly
And since they're all hugging the PF, you've at least 2 SCVs beside one to instantly repair and finish repair on a slightly damage SCV. Auto-repair is only as good if the intended target is continuously damage so that the repairs won't be interrupted, of if the target is the only thing being damaged.
At 26:20, I am pretty sure you lose the planetary because the SCVs repaired it to full, then just stood around and watched it die cause they idle after they finish repairing their target.
It's hard to see cause you looked away, but I think you're resources stopped dropping because they were not repairing.
Beautiful games Marc! I love this challenge almost as much as the Planetary Rush to GM series. Despite it being a very constrained composition, I think it gives you a lot of opportunities to think about how to navigate the presenting conditions and what will allow you to pull out a W.

Thanks for a fantastic content Marc! It looks like your SCVs may have stopped repairing that CC you were a little surprised to lose in that epic last game. It’s right at the 12min mark. The SCVs may have managed to repair it to full health and then weren’t on auto repair. Your faith in the upgraded planetary may still be well placed 🍻
WTH I stepped away in the middle of that TvZ around the time you said you thought you'd lost and then came back and saw it was still going on. What a game.

I notice that you used the anti-armor missile at least once. But there are other opportunities. 13:39. That is your secret weapon. That is what makes the auto-turrets less bad.

Uthermal has three absolute banger series going at once. I think my favorite has to be no warpgate but the z and t builds are also great fun
Game 2 was one of the most 200 IQ monkey brained fights I've ever seen. Certainly one of the SC2 games of all time haha. GGWP!
Idea: Do a no attacking challenge. You can only defend. Have to defend so strongly the opponent leaves. If you want to set concrete rules, just divide the map in two and don’t go past your half.

I think he may have meant it to mean "2 planetary upgrades at once" - Building Armor (tough Planetaries) and Hi-Sec Auto Tracking (Planetary range). Both are researched at the engineering bay.

Ravens are so interesting. One fungal or parasitic and its all over.... but as long as you keep moving and attacking infrastructure that cant walk away from the turrets, they are awesome. Attacking into a large army is impossible; but as long as you avoid that and force them to attack into a pre-planted turret forest instead... I really feel like weve yet to see peak-raven.
I think the reason you lost the bottom left base in game 2 is because they full repaired the planetary, and didn’t repair after that. The SCVs were heavily out repairing the damage of his army before you looked away

raven nerfed into oblivion. It's impossible to win if they actually counter. Losers couldn't handle ketroc and just complained 24/7. Zerg threw the game hard.
